So one more month in your current work experience will take you up to the yrs? pweetygeek: I have mails for that month but since I don't have ITA yet I'll include my present work experience to avoid interview wahala. I just don't want employment to be plenty. Thanks a lot |

Cash or electronic, they were paid. pyruvateluv: There should be a way out. What about those that were salary by cash? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by joo2018: 1:05pm On Nov 01, 2018 |
Mm. The rule requires you to be paid. 1. Do the mails you have cover the period of 1 month you were not paid? 2. Do you have a record of correspondence with them over them paying you the money later, you querying them or them committing to pay you the money? This might help convince a case officer. If you can't convince the officer na to Accra for interview be that. pweetygeek: Yes that one month is quite significant. |

Tricky one. Do you need the extra one month for the 3yrs max point? pweetygeek: Hi everyone pls I need your opinion on my work experience. I worked for 6 months at a firm, I was paid for 5 months (indicated in my salary account bank statement) the sixth month's salary has not been paid and it doesn't seem like it will get paid. Is it ok to claim the 6 months and write LOE to explain the missing 6th month salary in the statement or just claim 5 months? I can't get a reference letter, but I have employment letter, soft copy of id card, pictures, mails etc. Thanks |

After ITA, during eAPR, you add the training program to your Personal history. You can add a LOE stating that it is a training program running concurrently with your work and that you were paid allowance for the program. bfbellexce: Not study or leave. it is a capacity training program wit LOCAL CONTENT. had to just stay off work wit understanding from my ogas and still a staff.
as for d letter i can get from my HOD if permissible but my statement of account for d past six months dat has to show my oda sources of income odawise i wont mention it in my profile. |

I have a question, I'm filling the post ITA forms and I'm stuck at the personal activity section. The period I was waiting to get into law school, what option do I pick? |

Congrats! Go and shine! Good point: So I found out no particular way was wrong. Wakanowdotcom: Hi everyone. Its a PPR, COPR announcement!!! Single applicant.
PPR - Oct 3rd COPR - 17th, but vfs delivered it a week later.
Any issues, just keep calm and READ page 1. There's no need fretting, to be honest.
I also think as much as are on this thread, desiring to get PR, will get it. Canada needs people and everyone here will go jejely.
Oh dear . I hope I have put in all the required NL info? (I haven't read in a while so I'm not sure what I've missed). I'm not exactly religious, but BE ENCOURAGED! All the very best to everyone! |

A bit of a grey area. Like @raphrulz noted, so have case officers have calculated it using months. If his CRS score is a bit high, why doesn't he wait one month to avoid stories that touch? ottawasenators: Thanks for the kind feedback Ralph. Most appreciated.
So if ITA falls on this candidate by Nov 7th, na to reject? |

Your dependent must be your child (natural or adopted). http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/glossary.asp#dBarryston: Hello everyone,
Urgent reply please! I've a cousin that has been living with me for a year now...I've been responsible for his education and welfare...both parents still alive though, but wanted to help him because of his slow education(he is 18)...my major concern now is that,I created my profile a while ago without including him because of POF(which will increase my family size to 4) but now POF won't be a problem...and I really want to help him because after God,I'm his only ticket to education. If I include him now.. although I've not received ITA...I hope it won't lead to a problem for me in my application and also how do I proof he has been living with me? Thanks alot for you response! |

Clarify it a bit. Is is a side job or a posting from work? bfbellexce: Thanks. Do i have to present an approval from my main office to participate in my alternative job?
i increased LSWR to 877 and crs changed to 457 |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by joo2018: 11:51am On Oct 31, 2018 |
You only need 3 years for maximum points. So the 3yrs post NYSC is adequate. Alternatively you can put OND as the year you became qualified to practice and list all, since it seems to be the same company all through. The alternate job can be put as part time in your personal history. That will cover the extra income. However, it all hinges on whether you can increase your crs score to around 440 and above. Options include using wife as PA (if younger), getting Masters and learning French. bfbellexce: Participated in NYSC 2014-2015 and returned back. Got upgraded and still working.
NOC Falls in 5224 Broadcast Engineer B. Assumed an IELTS score of LSRW-7777 which I hope to work hard and surpass. Did the trial version of CRS and got 399.
Pls wat are my chances and advice on my 1.work while studying 2. during NYSC outside work 3. returned and working to date with respect to my proof of work.
Meanwhile got engaged as a QA/QC Trainee in Welding Inspection (August 2017 to November 2018 when it will ellapse) under the NCDMB with an Oil Company and have received payments from both sides in the same account. I dont know how dat may tend to affect in my POF.
Thanks for ur kind response |

There is an option for spouse unaccompanying. Note though the he will still need to do medicals, get a police clearance certificate and you will need to provide settlement funds that will cover him too. Check page 1 for details of the whole process. dubajek: I am an accountant with 15 years experience. Am a graduate with HND PGD, ACA married with 3 kids. my hubby is not interested in relocating. 2. Don't. Using the NOCs word for word immediately arouses the case officers's suspicion. 1. It is not about the job title, it is about the job description. But can you use your one year housemanship? Don't know. Maybe @vcole can help. DrMrsCK: Hi all. I want to use my one year housemanship as work experience but there is no house officer in the NOC job titles. Is it ok to use it? Or should I use intern? Also, am I to use the duties listed in the NOC word for word? Thanks in anticipation. |

Why don't you pm those who got PPR using self-employed? Might be faster. Sthill5: Good morning Guys
So I couldn't find a sample reference letter on the thread from a client for self employed candidates.
The clients I approached asked me to draft the letter then they can sign etc
I'm getting 5 letters and was thinking it would be weird to have them all sound the same.
Is there a particular format I should use? |

What is the real concern? Is it about the date you became qualified to practice in the NOC? If so, your B.Sc date is the date. Was the M. SC program fulltime or part-time? speak2inspire: Please elders assist me again.
How do I write and LOE to explain a time period while I was working in Lagos but was also doing masters in Ibadan. The masters period was for two years I was Informed I need to explain it in an LOE that I was still working while I was schooling because I used the work as my NOC to claim points. |
