Your choice. You can use either. It doesn't matter.

So you mean I should use this address instead of To Whom it may concern

You can put both.

Under Bachelors, you choose "No" to "Did you get an ECA?"
PabloTrinity:
Dear Seniors, please I am filling my EE profile at the moment. I have my WES for the Master's Degree which happen to be a Canadian Equivalent. Whilst filling the profile, I was requested to put "secondary and post-secondary periods of study for eligibility for Express Entry", please advise if this would include my Master's degree (for which I have an ECA) and Bachelors degree (for which I have no ECA) OR just the Master's degree alone, which is the highest, for which I am claiming points and have an ECA. Thank you.

"To Whom it may Concern " works just fine. If you have to give an address, you can use "Centralized Intake Office, IRCC, Sydney, Nova Scotia.
Domarion25:
Good morning all, please our reference letter should state "To Whom it may Concern " or "Canadian Embassy " Who should we address it to please .Thank you .

Strong worded ka!

Yes, a few people are abusing the opportunity.... all the more the reason why the rest of us should apply wisdom.

And why are we all so hung up on Qlife and Children's Practice anyway? There's still lotsa space at IOM.

Zeewirld:
........We need to send a strong worded letters to the hospitals that only persons with ITA are allowed to book for medical.. Sincerely, I wonder why most Nigerians are greedy and rather than address the issues with ourselves, we rather blame others and Politicians.

There has been PPR stories with only Tbills submitted. It is not clear, however, if the date the Tbills were bought or their duration has any implication.
jholarharde:
wown, wown, wown, now I'm sounding like a police van, the PPR news are beauties to behold. congrats @ fuzzyman, @pacowo, @favoured2505, @amakaota. I wish you more of God's favour going forward.

a quick one please, is it mandatory I get a bank letter if I'm using tbills certificate?

Congrats to @Pacowo, @Amakaota, @Favoured2505, @Fuzzyman. Go and shine in your new land.

@Amakaota great timeline for your family! Can you share more about your Work reference letter and POF? Did you add payslips to your reference letter?

Naija, naija.

We will always abuse things. Why not book just one and go for it. That's another side of the story.
Flaj:
It's no longer "being proactive". It's already getting to selfishness. There is one aunty that booked dates in both Qlife and Children Practice but she didn't use any of it, she ended up walking in on a different day while locking spaces that would have been available for at least 2 families; and i doubt that she has called the clinics to cancel her appointments.

Stanbic customers care is very responsive. Call them. They may be able to email the reference letter to you.

Please has anyone applied with Stanbic IBTC Mutual Funds specifically the Guranteed and Money market funds? Does Stanbic print the statement alongwith the letter required by IRCC? . Secondly, who do we write to to request the pof letter. I am current outside the country and cannot visit their office for this. Please help my 60 days has started counting..... God bless

Looks like no one currently online is in PEI.
You can read this Nova Scotia landing story. The province borders PEI and should have similar conditions.

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by joo2018: 5:47pm On Oct 15, 2018
Lol...
Not the fault of the hospital or those booking. Upfront medical is required from everybody, so everybody has to plan with the limited number of hospitals available.
And why will you wait for ITA before you book anyway... Some people receive ITA and submit their eAPR within 2 days because they have all the documents ready. Now that's planning.
I'm sure IOM still has space btw.
PresVA:
It's really unfair that people who are yet to get ITA book their medicals leaving those who really need it stranded.. Soon, people may not be able to get a spot for medicals within the 60 -day time period given to submit PR application. really unfair...

It's hightime hospitals started asking for ITA or advance payment before booking one for medicals. . So that only eligible people are booked.. You can't be at 438 and book medicals because you're anticipating scores to fall, haba..

Guidelines to process applications under Section A11.2 ie. recalculate CRS: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/assessing-electronic-application-on-section-a11-2.html

Public Policy to exempt loss of points due to age: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/mandate/policies-operational-instructions-agreements/age-based-requirements.html

The words "should consider" , "may grant an exemption" seems to me to place it at the discretion of the case officer.

Thank God for protection.
Consequence of medicals being only done in Lagos and Abuja. Hope IRCC does something about it soon.

My good people on this canada dream/journey...please come thank the ALMIGHTY GOD with me.

We even came back to a flooded apartment (broken water pipe). I and my spouse have being mopping since we got back.

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by joo2018: 8:16pm On Oct 13, 2018
For Medicals, either will do.
Con of before ITA is that if you get COPR, your visa expires 1yr after the date of the medicals. So you calibrate your booking based on how likely you will get ITA.
Con of after is that space for medicals are highly competitive and you may not get the day you want.
It costs you nothing to book. If your IELTS is set, you can book.

For biometrics, you have to wait for the letter.
prost80:
Hello All,

When is it the best time to book for medicals and biometrics, is it when one enters the pools or when one gets the ITA. My wife is the PA, 443 is her number(we expect her WES in by next week ending 19th Oct ) but timing is of the essence but by third week in December 2018, her points drops off. So how can we "haste" the process once we get the ITA?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by joo2018:
Still in agreement sis. Stating the same thing in different ways.
Using examples as you did makes it clearer. I think I will add that to my repertoire.
GlitteringStar:
My point is that one can claim points for any work experience gained while studying for the FSW program. I will explain with an example.

The answer to this is that Mr A can claim points for the work experience. Note: For the question "Date XYZ first became qualified to practice in this occupation " Mr A will use the date written on his OND certificate and not the one written on his BSc certificate. [/i]
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by joo2018:
We are in agreement.
GlitteringStar:
In this person's case, since the certificate he used was his secondary school certificate, I don't think he can claim points for the 2 years work experience. I'm not really sure secondary school certificate will fly.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by joo2018: 10:43pm On Oct 12, 2018
@xtosync, @glitteringstar and @tojued

I believe the IRCC tweet is valid. It is a question of misunderstanding.

Yes the requirement for work during school is strict for the CEC program so that people will not cheat the system and use a student visa to claim work points. It also seems generally applicable for FSW as long as it refers to the minimum employment requirements i.e. B.Sc, OND, HND. You cannot really claim a job that you are not qualified for.

The examples in the thread including @dupyshoo are for PG. So yes, a lecturer doing M.Sc or PhD has already met the employment requirements since she has a B.Sc. I'm not too sure of the OND, but I think it may fly.

See @Qsola's link and @glitteringstar's response. https://www.nairaland.com/4212543/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/520#66386132
She did not really clarify and did not add it to her PPR gist.

See another case: https://www.nairaland.com/4212543/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/521#66387172

However to balance it, Section 80 of IRPR states that it is not mandatory for an applicant to meet the employment requirements for a NOC. But in practice (I guess to counter fraud) case officers do sometimes request for ADRs from applicants to clarify how they became qualified to practice a profession.

I did a write-up earlier, you can study it: https://www.nairaland.com/4657743/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/367#71787799
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by joo2018:
1. Normal
2. You can do it now or wait for an ADR. Note that ADRs generally delay an application.
Xbature:
Hi my people.

I trust God that we all we share inspiring testimonies as been shared by those who have gotten their PR.

I have 2 questions:
1. I am working with one of the government parastatals specifically one of the teaching hospitals, in the section for work history, can i say this is normal employment or list it under government appointment. I'm kind of not clear which i should call it. And if i call it government please what are the implications and what document should i prepare?
2. As i'm about to submit my ITA application, is it compulsory to submit the schedule A form now or i can do that later.

I will appreciate response from anyone that has had this kind issue in the past and how to proceed.
Thanks.

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by joo2018: 3:16pm On Oct 12, 2018
There was a discussion awhile back.
Someone stated he chose 'No", but submitted a LOE that yes, he has a sibling but chose 'No' because he's not claiming points. If I remember right, he got PPR.
Someone else suggested choosing 'Yes', but submitting a LOE that you are not submitting documentation for the sibling as you are not claiming points.
Vanillawafers:
Good morning great people of this wonderful thread.
Please I have a question for those who or thier spouse's have siblings in canada but do not intend to claim points for them as the CRS points are enough without adding them to it.
Do you answer ' yes' to the question 'do you have a sibling in canada who's a Canadian PR or Citizen' pre or post ITA.

I read somewhere that you can just keep mute about it if you don't intend to claim them for points but won't that backfire in future?.

Lastly, I tried to search for a similar situation on this thread as I'm aware such has probably been discussed severally here but I couldn't get enough information.

Please anyone that knows what page and part of this thread I can go to for this same information, should kindly refer me.

Thank you very much.
