This same thing happened in my community recently
We didn't wait for govt.
The community leaders set up a youth vigilante, armed them with guns, charms and machetes and sent them to the bush. It didn't take a month for all the fulanis to flee after alot of them were killed in their hideout.
Till today, no fulani is allowed to move around my village with cattles again.
The people should do something about it
