Wizkid joins Justin Bieber on stage to perform Essence

Nigerian superstar singer, Wizkid, joined his colleague, Justin Bieber on stage during the Made in America music festival to perform the smashing hit song, Essence.



Beiber collaborated on the song’s remix which originally featured sonorous singer, Tems. The duo performed the song on stage together for the first time in Philadelphia.

Ever since the release of the song which is a track on Wizkid’s Made In Lagos album in October, it has become a favourite among music lovers.

Moreso the song has been breaking records and topping charts, especially on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

For instance, in July, Wizkid became the first Nigerian artist to have a record on the Billboard Hot 100 chart when Essence broke into the chart at No. 82.

Within days, it rose to No.70 and later to No.67 the next.

In August, the song shot up to the top 20 songs of the Billboard Hot 100 chart and also became the most Shazamed song in the United States for the week in review.

We all know Truecaller app shows you the name of the person calling you.
But what many people don't know is that you can completely delete your name and phone number from Truecaller records or database. What it implies is that no name will show up on any Truecaller app.
Yes! If they think that they are smart, you too can become smarter...
The other thing that's of bigger concern to me about Truecaller, as I explained in the video, so many permissions being requested by the app.
If it were to be only the permissions, then I won't be this concerned.
To use Truecaller now, the App requests to be default dialer, default sms app and default spam blocker. How can one app become all these in one phone? Even Google have not packed all that into one app.
Anyways, you can delete your records from Truecaller in two simple steps.

Nigerian talented Afro-fusion singer, Yhemolee has taken to Instagram to share pictures of him and popular Nigerian billionaire businessman, Obi Cubana, having a good time together. However, a lot of people reacted to the new pictures, following Yhemolee's caption that proved he might have been facing some circumstances of life which distracted him from visiting who he called his father, Obi Cubana, for some time now. However, the post attracted attention, Obi Cubana also reacted with a comment "My dear prodigal son, welcome back home, but now the queue is very long, but I love you still". Some Nigerian celebrities including, Poco Lee, Broda Shaggi, and many others reacted to the post.

It is quite interesting that Obi Cubana has won many hearts even though he is not popularly known as an entertainer. I just a read a highly revealing scholarly article on the causes of the herdsmen crisis in Nigeria.

The main reason given of course was climate change causing accelerated desertification of the Sahara, and forcing herdsmen ever southwards for greener pastures to graze their cattle.

The 2ND reason given was the heightened migration of 'southern Nigerians' up to the north, causing pressure on land resources and land availability, and forcing herdsmen to migrate southwards.

These ''southern Nigerians'' buy up hectares of land and build houses and estates aplenty, plus numerous business premises, factories etc.

Now of course we know who these ''southern Nigerians'' are, even if the author was far too polite to mention their ethnicity outright.

Perhaps it's time to implore those ''southern Nigerians'' to head back home and free up the land for its original inhabitants, to help ease the herdsman crisis?
