Since he doesn't have a PVC,he should STFU and let people with PVCs decide who to vote for.
Kapish!! Believe it or not, those without PVC are the ones who make the loudest noise of all. |

saasala: Was reading the Yahoo News on Nigeria's election postponement. The below statement was made by an American commenter...
http://news.yahoo.com/nigeria-postponing-feb-14-vote-amid-boko-haram-100041293.html
"The Nigerian President claimed that he has over 20,000 soldiers fighting boko haram. They have not secured any victory in 6years because of their acute incompetence.
Can somebody tell me how the Nigerian Army who has not been able to do anything about boko haram for 6years with 20,000 soldiers, now can are suddenly able to do end it in 6weeks?
The Nigerian security forces, especially the armed forces and police, have a constitutionally mandated duty to protect ALL Nigerians - election or no election. Its not a privilege but a constitutionally protected right which subsists and does not even have to be demanded.
If the armed forces and poilice are unable to do their jobs, they should be summarily dismissed. Further, their inability to do their constitutionally mandated job becomes treasonable if their refusal was intentional.
Nigerian Independent Electoral Commission, call their bluff and do this election to save your country from the hands of gross inefficacy and marrow deep corruption.
SHAME ON THE DAFT NIGERIAN PRESIDENT FOR TRYING TO DESTROY NIGERIA GOD KILL DAFTI AND SAVE NIGERIA AND INNOCENT PEOPLE OF NIGERIA !!!"
*Sighs* My thoughts exactly. GEJ with his band of inept goons have politicize The Nigerian Army thus rendering it as incompetent as the Federal Government. When the said sic weeks has elapsed, then, we'll be waiting for the latest cock and bull story from the presidency and our security agencies. |

Politics › Re: Presidency Shops For Jega’s Replacement - Vanguard News by joseph1832(m): 6:16am On Feb 09, 2015 |
Raiders: I don't blame Jega. There is no way Jega would have conducted election in Nigeria without security from the police and army. If something bad happens and lives are loss during the election the government will blame Jega and Jega don't want anybody blood in his hands. The C-in-C of the army and police is to be blame because he is aware since last year that election is February 14th and should have made the necessary security arrangements. INEC has done a wonderful job and were ready for the elections . All the more reason why Jega should have stood his ground! The excuse given by the Army is lame and everyone knows it. Jega should have called all the stake holders and asked them.... Anyway whatever plan the FG is trying to hatch will meet a brick wall! If they're truly planing on replacing then the FG will surely meet resistance. The FG is aware that opposition are not sleeping either and the opposition are not dumb. |
Politics › Re: Presidency Shops For Jega’s Replacement - Vanguard News by joseph1832(m): 5:22am On Feb 09, 2015 |
Well I am not surprised! Jega should have stood his ground and gone ahead in conducting the election. However GEJ and the PDP may not find this ploy of their as easy as they perceive because the APC might have seen through their ploy.
If any attempt is made by GEJ and the PDP to remove Jega, then GEJ and the PDP will be pushing Nigeria into another political conflict.
Come to think of it, is it by force that one must go on leave? |

spicelady: I know I just recently created an account on nairaland but that doesn't mean, that I am new to nairaland
Everyone have been saying that nneka123 is fake and that she is a guy. I can't really tell you his/her gender, but I would tell you her/his real profile.
Well I did some investigational analysis( not because I was jobless, but at my leisure) I can confidently tell you that nneka123 is really kolader354 And I am going to prove it
I know some are surprised right Okay Proof 1 Notice the monikers Nneka123 - kolade354 Anything similar? Notice the single name followed by the 3digit numbers. Also notice that the numbers are between 1 and 5 This shows laziness in thinking(no offence)
Proof 2 The method of insult Check the way they both insult others, its obviously similar
I have other proofs but I am going to leave the other proofs for intelligent nairalanders to figure out.
I am going to try and update the other proofs I have. But one thing everyone of you should consider is this
Notice the way the kolade rushed into this thread. That's just the way nneka behaves.
You should also ask yourselves. How did the politics sectioner kolade even know about nneka in the first place
Notice the way he started insulting everyone That's just what nneka would do
Also notice the way he uses swear words Just like nneka uses them Oh boy you be Sherlock Holmes Oh! You and Naijaboiy suppose form collabo oh. The two of una dey here with all of una ogbonge investigative skills and Goodluck Jona dey talk say him no no who be Boko Haram sponsors. Chai na wa oh!. . |

Why is everything about Nairaland so so so and annoyingly so different? Why? Cos it's owned by a Nigerian? We can like to show ourselves ehn...
I just think we should let people live their (online) lives. After all, this is just an online thing. We all have our personalities on here, or don't we again?
The earlier we learn to discover our businesses and face them, the better for us. Hmm a very valid point. On the other hand if one lead a life of fakery online thus using it to boost their egos and deceive unsuspecting kids here, then I'll say its bad. |

VolvoS60: ^^^ Aha.
Your problem is education. But it is a problem that can be solved.
Now let me explain to you. First of all, you were talking about national income, whether you knew it or not. You mentioned power supply, good roads etc. What do you think makes up national income? It is these roads and power supply lines and the thousand and one things which go into building them. (as well as the thousand and one things that power lines and good roads help in building or creating). Second, for the life of me, I cannot understand why you keep referring to religion. I have said nothing about religion. I quoted a line from your post - a line which I have re-posted and which does not need any other part of your post to provide context. This line of yours makes an association between national income and porn. What I need from you is an explanation of the nature of that association.
Let me make it a bit easier for you. Are you saying that the US is making economic progress because of its porn industry or in spite of it? Your problem is also education. I am saying a country that doesn't rub religion in our noses are actually doing better than us ( Nigeria) who revel in religious dogma!. What I am saying is simply put according to the popular religious dogma "those who follow the commandments of their religion will surpass the unbelievers". |

VolvoS60: ^^^ Sure. See your words below: Good. You should have asked what I meant instead of assuming I was talking about national income. Now lemme explain it to you, the U.S, have all this sinful things (according to popular religion) done everyday yet they are making progress, they have steady power supply, good roads, etc. Yet we (Nigerians) who are holier than the Isralites with our profess religion, with our so called hatred and distaste for things that doesn't conform to our religion are still backward!. I honestly don't know or can not see where national income came into the picture bro. |

VolvoS60: ^^^ No sir, you have not answered the question. You made an explicit association between porn and national income. I asked you to explain further and you have referred me to google searches on the US porn industry. That won't cut it.
We need more information from you and nobody else. After all, its your theory. But I have already bought into it. Its only these naysayers on here who need convincing. Once again, I say imagine the possibilities! Instead of dry, sterile debate during the presentation of the appropriation bill to the national assembly by gnarled, middle-aged civil servants, imagine what a nubile, silicone-enhanced, 42 DD porn starlet could do with the same document. The thought should fill you with joy.
Mr Joseph, you owe it to your country to take your revolutionary idea to the next level. History won't forgive you if you don't. Kindly show me where I made such association then we will take it from there. |

rhymz: hahahahh.... You sound very trite my dear. Which Yorubas trooped en mass to vote in 2011? Can you please put up the figures from the regions with regard to the 2011 presidential elections, I am not interested in overflolgged statements like yours about Yorubas fictitiously voting en mass for PDP in 2011, that's a lie. Here is a summary of the regional votes that won the elections for Jonathan, people lie figures don't lie.
according to the 2011 presidential elections, majority of PDP votes came from ABIA 1,175,984 AKWA-IBOM 1,165,629 ANAMBRA 1,145,169 DELTA 1,378,851 IMO 1,381,357 KADUNA 1,190,179 LAGOS 1,281,688 PLATEAU 1,029,865 RIVERS 1,817,762 and the regional vote for PDP was; southwest 2,836417 southeast 4,985246 southsouth 6,014283 northwest 3,024797 northcentral+fct 3,376570 northeast 1, 498425
These are the stubborn facts, you can not spin this one like you lot do on SR. I want to see how you explain the Yoruba voting en mass for Jonathan, like we all are kids that did not exist during that election or Yoruba people just like to arrogate some false sense of being king makers in this country to appear larger than life.
Like I said before, Yorubas are not known to vote for anyone with so much interest unless of course there is the possibility of the kind of concessions Buhari and the Northern political elite have promised. When it comes to politics, the Yoruba political class are opportunists, their kind of politics is the one that care more about Yoruba self interest than Nigeria's self interest that is the fact. Opposition to Jonathan from the SW region has little to do with his performance or the alleged corruption in his government as facts show otherwise, it has more to do with sectional, parochial political interests of its political class and the fact that they are using their control of the media to effectively unleash a well sustained propaganda against a government whose media arm is unfortunately mediocre . The one that exploits the North's thirst for power and disdain for a Jonathan coming from a minority tribe to assert power over Northerners. Nothing more. We are not new to Yoruba mode of politics, I just feel it is insulting when they try to make it look like they are doing everyone a favour by diving the south and using propaganda to rubbish this government. "People lie, figures don't lie" and who put together the figures? Demons I presume . |
