Professor Soyinka has said it all, the crimes committed by the others were political! But that of Alameiyeseigha is blatant corruption. What still baffles me is that this same man will announce to the whole world that he is fighting corruption! What arrant hypocrisy. |
For me after much thought, I'd wanted to say silence, but I despise people who are silent! They have a tendency to be cowards. I thought about loyalty, A loyal individual always pays homage to his masters even when they raped his mother!. I thought about his listening ability, then I remember people who listens don't really hear anything, they are impervious to the plight of the masses. I thought about corruption, then I remember people who lie to the whole milky way prove to be the most corrupt of all. I thought about transparency, then I remember his as opaque as a brick wall. I thought about technocracy, then I remember the technocrats he hired happened to be among the dullest set of people in government. I thought about the fact that he's a moderate, then I remember how much I dislike moderate because most of them are nitwits. I actually don't like or admire anything about this man called GEJ! |
Sincere 9gerian: Ignorance is a disease. Read below what Olusegun Adeniyi, the then Yar Adua spokesperson, wrote on this issue in his latest book:For your information Mr Man Yar'Adua reduced the price of fuel from N70 to N65! Ignorance is truely a disease. |
Why am I having this feeling that the trial of Kabiru Sokoto is going to be like that of Major Hamza Al Mustapha and Rev. King. A very long and frustrating trial!. Going by what I read above, wheather its lack of evidence or absence of the trial judge, this is the begining of a long trial! Everything is in scambles in our beloved country! |
Sincere 9gerian: I didn't want to waste my time debating this issue initially, but just to state the FACT that any govt or political party in power MUST as a necessity increase fuel price. Whether PDP, ACN, CPC, APC, APGA, WAEC, THUNDER,etc they MUST increase fuel price once they get to power.Yar'Adua didn't increase fuel brother, he reduced it and this same Yar'Adua was a member of PDP! How come you much celebrated and infamous GEJ is different? His own increase far outweigh others... |
"Speaking at a press conference in Lagos today, Mr. Jonathan said, “We cannot continue to waste resources meant for a greater number of Nigerians to subsidize the affluent middle class, who are the main beneficiaries.” Can you guys see just how docile this man is in his utterance? Waste resources meant for a greater number of Nigerians to subsidize the affluent middle class? The little resources we have how has it benifitted the masses?!. Its as if the political elite have a personal vendetta against "the affluent middle class". |
Dykecosby: Such a silly topic, not worth coming from somebody of your pedigree, u fall my hand!Oh so you've checked my pedigree, hmmm! Silly topic? Well ma bro that's your opinion. I still believe mediocrity must not be tolerated! |
genxris: @opPerhaps you can start with writting the name of your own worthless father who can't even teach his child adequate manners! Asswipe! I pity you and your offspring. It is evident that they're gonna be as dumb and senseless as you!. Wimp. |
adino: Stupidd op, u ran away from ur thread after been disgraced. Ediots like u should be left to ur fooolishnessDisgraced? Young man you are the one who's stupid beyond reasoning! I ran away with my thread? Only scallywags like you can come up with such inane comment! You really need a lobotomy! |
May their souls R.I.P. |
Why would a country who self style herself as "the giant of africa" need help from one of the richest men in the world to eradicate polio? Funny I didn't remember south africa, egypt, libya e.t.c needing the help of a rich man to solve a problem they can solve.(I stand to be corrected). |
Sincere 9gerian: You can keep saying that if it will make you feel better. However, such insinuation exist only in your warped imagination. Why would anyone lie about who they vote or did not vote for in 2011. For me I believe everyone's entitled to his or her opinion, and they are free to chose whom to vote or not vote for, but when that opinion or choice can be damaging to not just them but other people, then I have a problem with them. Some people who voted GEJ have paid the price for their choice by being blown to smithering so also those who didn't vote for him, see how things affect us?... |
zanga420: 1000likes, dont mind those sentimental propagandas talking God knows what. This GEJ they're castigating has he not done enough within this short period. Let them go ahead looking for faults.Kindly list the things GEJ has done since he took over... |
k2039: The comments on this thread is alarming.Would you expect any thing less from halfwits? I've stopped being amazed about most of the things I see on social media. |
I didn't vote for him and I sure will not vote for him come 2015. I voted for Buhari and should Buhari emerge the Presidential candidate of CPC or should I say APC I WILL NOT VOTE FOR HIM! They are all the same. |
k2039: Seriously, I'm ashamed of being a Nigerian. Instead of them calling a spade one, they are defending the action of their dumb president.Dude you need to see the way many of them totally misinterpret oyb's sarcasm! Well am not surprised anyway because I've said it numbers without times, more than half of Nigeria's population are made up of halfwits! |
Its not the fault of Mr Gates or the USA, its the fault of our very stupid leaders and their blind followers! If we had put our house in other, who's the USA to say who comes to Nigeria and who don't!?. If truely Mr Gates is the humanitarian I perceive him to be, then he shouldn't be swayed by sentiments from his government! |
Billyonaire: How much Bill Gates wants to bring that we do not have ? Is charitable act supposed to be tied to Politics ? I keep saying that Mrs America is an hypocrite, if you sincerely wanna help sick people, do you tie their lives to politics ? The Feds will release $700m to cater for the void that Gates Foundation is supposed to provide. Mrs America can go to hell with her Greek's Horse. We are sovereign and we give State Pardon to any Criminal we chose to. F/u/ck them!My good man, as a political scientist I'll tell you everythings is tied or associated with politics, its who gets what, when and how-Harold Lasswell! Our very lives is ruled by politics. |
Billyonaire: So in Essence, the Gate's Foundation aid Project was conditional and not charitable. It was not Charity geared towards the cause of the poor, but another strategy by US government to seduce Nigeria Government to doing their bidding. To hell with such Greek's Horse. I implore the Federal Government to release $700m in a single batch to the Health Sector to continue with the Polio programme. Charity and aid are supposed to be granted freely without political ties. Nigeria is not the 53rd State of USA. We are sovereign, we can afford $700m, to hell with Noe-Colonialist, World Policing, Mrs America. You know I couldn't agree more! But you seem to have forgotten, THIS IS NAIJA the money released will vanish into thin air and even when the money is recovered the person who stole it will be given 2 weeks in prisonment or pay N250 fine. |
Ak47 bullet: If he likes, he should go to hell. Whatever he has to offer, we can give ourselves millions.Give ourselves millions? Just like the FGN have been giving you millions by deprivng you of basic amenities right? Clap for yourself! |
Let Bill Gates go & mind his biz,i hv never seen a place were the whole nation is been punish b,cos of one man.
Know your politics well bro... Numerous times nations have been punished just because of actions by 'oga @ the top' eg. Iraq, Iran, North Korea, even Nigeria too have faced sanctions during the Abacha regime. |
strangest: mtschewww no be to market microsoft softwares imm dey come for? this is absolutely nonsense, imagine if we boycott microsoft softwares just because US went to war in Iraq.... Nonsense... mtschewwwMy good man did you read the post at all? Who said he was coimg to market microsoft softwares? |
I'll like to draw our attention to the way some people insult peoples fathers here on nairaland! I observe that whenever an individual post a thread or comment on an issue especially the ones that concerns Pastors and GEJ some of us take offence and rain insults on the poster father! I find this very offensive. I see no reason whatsoever that our fathers be insulted when they have absolutely no idea about what goes on here!. |
manmade: The mumu in CPC shld also call for the impeachment of all d 36 governors since they are part and parcel of the council of state, yeye set of pple, besides the Nation is not even among the credible medium of news in Nigeria so i waka pass.Dude did you really read the post? The council of state is an advisory body to the President, and just in case you forgot 'an advice is something when given can be adhered to or not adhered to' simple. Where you in the meeting to know if the council of state refuted GEJ request to grant Alams pardon? so don't speculate what you don't know! |
dougivilla: Hw do u hope to get him out? This is naijaIts not my job to "get him out". |
Your reasons are why people like him shouldn't be occupying the position he occupies, from the reasons you gave its blatantly clear that 'my oga @ the top" is a sycophant! |
All of you GEJ goons should check my pedigree before you start yapping around here, I believe you guys don't make mistakes when typing right? |
manmade: SHOULDN'T JOSEPH1832 BE RIDICULE THE WAY MY OGA AT THE TOP WAS RIDICULEDLmao before you speak of ridicule, kindly check all my post and ask that question again? |
manmade: See a kettle calling pot black,@ Op ur own "gbagaun" has even surpassed that of "My oga at the Top." Olodo rabata. My own "gbagaun"? Is gbagaun an English word? Look at who's talking. |
bubadaniel13: OP people like you are not fit to leave since you cherish seeing people rediculed,GEJ has done nothing wrong to be the president of Nigeria. If you are looking for someone to redicule,go and redicule ur father since u lack respect for the office of the President, you need therapy unhappy man.Oh men this nairalander is a derange mad man who lack proper training from his home. Its because your father molested you when you were a kid that's why you lack respect for other peoples father! Imagine this nonentity ranting? You are as stupid and brainless as they come. Twerp. |
adino: @ opMy dear man, you are as brainless as they come! Instead of pitying me please go ahead and pity yourself because they say "charity begins at home". |
CyberG: Spot on! You are absolutely right that GEJ demonstrates worse oga at the top cluelessness and he has not improved since he was taken from under Turais wrapper and made substantive president. But you know the 400 lapdogs are paid by same GEJ to deflect such scrutiny from his woeful performances. During his last interview with Amanpour you see him display his crass cluelessness while pretending like he did not hear the questions by saying "fardin...fardin", etc. Remember this is an interview be paid around 50,000 dollars of Nigeria's money for only to disgrace himself.Somtimes I wonder if Nigerians suffer from misplace priorities, Our President has embarrassed himself times without number and he's yet to face the kind of ridicule 'my oga @ the top' faced. May be that's why he's still embarrassing himself... |
