What concerns a respectable company like NLNG with whether or not the CEO is a northerner? huh It is a JV for crying out loud. Like CNL, MPN, TEPNG and SPDC. By the way, it is quite common to find Shell executives become NLNG MD.
You have time to educate a goat? allow him to eat the grass he is used to. He actually thought buhari appoints MD for JV's the guy's lowest level of reasoning is a good reason to avoid folks like him.

Minimum wage and allowances have been reduced ,electricity tariff increased by 50 percent, fuel prices increased by 70 percent, exchange rate destroyed and now increment in VAT ..Mark my words Buhari will turn Nigeria into one of the poorest places on earth. .I pray to God to remove and correct this economic mistake of a man
It was a proposal by RAMFAC it hasn't been accented to by the president yet. Obasanjo turned it down during economic melt down, it is unlikely buhari will run along at low crude prices, I don't know if you are aware that Buhari did not support subsidy removal if not the bombing that left everyone with no choice, I can bet my left ball you have no idea buhari did not support floating the naira (devaluation) till it got to a point where we could no longer afford to fix the naira.
If i were you, instead of hating Buhari, pray for peace and progress because many economic uncertainties is bound to leave the leadership with no choice. Nigerians must be circumspect of their actions and understand that every action has a reaction, that way we may likely escape the unforeseen.

The new IGP has withdrawn police orderlies from unauthorized persons and interests.

However, these are a few steps to obtain legal police guards and escorts for your and your business concerns.

1.find out if you or your business is entitled for armed police escorts and guards.

2.apply to the office of the IGP requesting for such services.

3.approval is given once its confirmed that you are entitled for such services.

While the law frowns at incessant obtaining of personal armed police guards for individuals, preferences are often made for VIPs, top executives, expatriates and business interests in Nigeria.

See me see wahala oooo, there is this female friend of mine for about two years now and we are very close to each other.
We talk about everything like education, politics, love and relationship, she even told me about her boyfriend who promise to marry her after she must have graduated. Whenever she had issues with her boyfriend she will run to me for advice which I have never disappointed her because I give her the best advice to make sure her relationship with the guy is going smoothly.
I wanted to woo her but I later changed my mind immediately she reviewed her relationship with the guy to me, but I still maintain the mutual friendship because she is a nice and friendly person.
Fast forward last week, I received a call from her that she is coming to my place which I asked her why, she said she wanted to know where I live I said ok no problem.
Few hours before she came, I package myself wella by arranging my room, bought two litres' of fuel for my generator incase nepa Bleep up,I enter kitchen and start preparing indomie with eggs because I wanted to make her feel home when she come because this is her first visit.
So as i was in the kitchen I heard a knock on my door and here she come.
We ate the noodle, watched firms and talked about many things. Inside me I have no intention of touching, kissing or any other immoral things in my mind because first, she is not my girlfriend, secondly she is into a serious relationship and thirdly I see her as just as a friend.
To my biggest surprise, immediately she left my place , days later I called her on phone she refused picking my calls. Up till as I.m typing this she has not pick my call.

How much did the Federal Government of Nigeria invest into oil exploration in the Niger Delta? Whatever it was they invested they've gotten back ×10000000000.
Do you have the figures? stop foaming from the mouth, why is PENGASSAN on strike?

How much has the Federal Government stolen from the Niger Delta?
Your father hasn't been caught yet, he alone can explain what he stole.

Do you know how much of the Niger Delta proceeds that has gone into crude oil exploration in the North?
Niger delta proceeds are whose investments? Only a f00l look at proceeds, sane people make the investments.
You can not reap where you did not sow, show us your investment in the Niger delta and the FG will be more than glad to hands off it, when you can not, you are just a trespasser that deserves to be shot.

How many free oil wells were allocated to the Northerners and how many has been allocated to Niger Deltans?
FREE OIL WELLS? WHAT IS OIL WELL? WHO RELEASED THIS GOAT?

Bimpe29:
The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, PENGASSAN, and the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, on Wednesday, July 13, finally reached an agreement with the Federal Government to call of its strike action.

The agreement was reached after the Union’s meeting with the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Senator Chris Ngige, and the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachukwu, all through yesterday into the early hours of this morning in Abuja.

Senior officials of the Government, have stated that the Presidency is currently happy about the latest agreement reached.

The Union consequently suspended its strike action, and has directed it members nationwide to resume work immediately.
The aim of the strike has already been achieved with the removal of Kachikwu so what other agreement there is na wash!

Politics › Re: The Western Nigeria, Nigerians And The Truth by jpphilips(m): 8:10am On Jul 12, 2016
martinslanre:
There's Boko Haram and Fulani Herdsmen from the North, our brothers from the East are clamoring for Biafra while our kinsmen from South have Avengers. There seem to be one particular thing from each region from Nigeria that threatens it's peace and harmony except the Western region. We in the Western region have peace and harmony.

Our desire for peace and harmony runs through our vain and was passed to us by our great father's fathers down to us. But our unquenchable thirst for peace should not be misunderstood for weakness, instead it should be seen as a sign of strength; strength born out of wisdom and uncommon knowledge. Our great fathers before us know and we that are here now also know that the value of peace is of inestimable value and that is why we will always be ahead of them and that is why our land will be the point of convergence to all other region when they need neutral ground.

Our peaceful state makes it easy to think and reason "Omo Yoruba Ronu" and that makes us see what they are yet to see. The unity we clamor for is not for our sake alone but for the sake of everyone that is still within this nation as at this point in time.
The south wants to go, the east wants to go. May heaven and the universe punish and never forgive any Nigerian leader that will sanction that move, because it will be hard to see people we once call brothers to end up suffering and in disarray. South Sudan got it's independence 5 years ago and today there are over 1.6million South Sudanese that are displaced, more than 850 thousand registered south Sudanese refugees in other nations while more than 270 thousand are displaced inside Sudan itself. What baffles me is that the people that are suffering the most are those who don't know the genesis or the reasons for the disintegration. Those who called for it are in good conditions and leaving like kings and queens.

If you are Igbo(east) or from the Niger-delta (South) you should ask yourself some critical questions. Why fight a war you know nothing about, do you know the origin of the agitation apart from those your parents told you?
Will those who tell us to fight and protest on the street boldly come out with their wives and kids to demand for what we are demanding for?
Ojukwu ran when the going got tough, Tompolo is on the run as at now too, Asari Dokubo built his private university in another nation...Will those people telling you to do what you are doing run when the going gets tough again?

There are mechanisms to running a nation and those should be put in place first before going if it becomes compulsory and necessary to go. If any of the two regions leave Nigeria as at now it will be a successful suicidal attempt. The leaders that will be leading those nation will be the same leaders who have been and are still currently looting their allocations and eating what belongs to those regions. Those regions have governors, senators and representatives if they will lead them well in their future nation then we should see the signs without stressing our eyes now " Sunday to ba ma dara, ale Saturday lati mo"

We can and we will surely make it together as a Nation. No other black nation is arguably better than us even in our mess, now imagine us in our greatness or when we are operating at our rightful potential. Our population and diversity is in itself a blessing and I don't mean to be rude when I say a rightful working Nigeria will be rubbing shoulders with USA UK France, all we need are leaders who genuinely love us and splitting won't provide any region with the perfect leader.
Ya when you live in New York, its cool to compare yourself with Sudan once in a while.
The South east is a cesspit, the Niger delta is fvcked, the SW peace has made Lagos the center of Excellence.
Those states are hungry and broke, they can no longer attract FDI unlike Lagos, why do you care?
They are not cowards, they are tough, they must be prepared to explain their stup!dity today to their next Generation.

winningwinner:
US COURT DOCUMENTS REVEAL AISHA BUHARI’S INVOLVEMENT IN THE ATIKU-JEFFERSON SCANDAL

The United States Justice Department, revealed that the All Progressive Congress, APC, Presidential Candidate, Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, Aisha Buhari (posing as Buhari’s daughter), was used as conduit and engaged in fraudulent wire transfers, from her Nigerian account in favour of Congressman Jefferson, via the ANJ Group LLC.

The US District Court Memo, states that Congressman William J. Jefferson, between August 2000 and August 2005, sought hundreds of millions of dollars on behalf of himself and family members.

In return, the defendant used his congressional office to promote the business interests of bribe-paying companies, whose very success was dependent upon the approvals of certain United States and West African government agencies and officials.

Congressman Jefferson, further compounded his criminal culpability by conspiring with others to pay a bribe to the then-sitting Vice President of Nigeria.

The WhistleNG, in an exclusive report, stated that in hushed and sometimes cryptic taped recorded conversations, Congressman Jefferson, explained in details how the success of the Nigerian telecommunications venture depended on bribing the Vice President of Nigeria, who the defendant described as “really corrupt.”

The US District Court during their investigation, also revealed that Williams Jefferson, in one of his numerous bribe schemes, wired $170,000 to a Nigerian account in the name of Aisha Buhari.

“During the investigation of his numerous bribe schemes, law enforcement agents learned of several wire transfers from offshore territories into U.S. financial accounts, that were either controlled by the defendant or whose proceeds were made available for his benefit.

See Donald C. Semesky, Jr., Tr. at 104 – 116; see also Government Exhibits 36-87 (6/26/02 $170,000 wire transfer from account in Nigeria in the name of Aisha Buhari, to an account in the name of The ANJ Group, LLC, identifying “William Jefferson” as Beneficiary), Government Exhibits 36-90 and 36-91 (11/28/03 $50,000 wire transfer from account in British Virgin Islands in the name of Dawson Creek Traders to an account in the name of Jefferson Interests, Inc.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, in their report dated June 22, 2006 also stated that former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, was summoned by the US government for Investigation into the iGate/NDTV business deals involving Congressman Jefferson, which also contained Haija Aisha M. Buhari’s bank records and transfer history.

Reports from New York Times Story (April 29, 2007) revealed Aisha Buhari on the dubious $1.2m campaigning contract, to help the former Akwa Ibom State Gov., Obong Attah, boost his image and attract investment to Akwa Ibom in his bid to become President of Nigeria, as well as a contract where Aisha Buhari, served as a consultant to orchestrate enormous name golfers to go to the opening of the Uyo Golf Resort, commissioned by former Governor, Obong Attah.

http://www.weeklypostng.org/2016/06/us-govt-fayoses-allegation-on-president.html

As indicated by the New York Times story, “she (Aisha Buhari) told him that her father was the former military ruler of Nigeria, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, and that her American friends included politicians like Mr. Jefferson of Louisiana.”

The former Governor, also verified the claim by the New York Times when he said, he knows Ms. Buhari’s daughter, who is still a powerful Nigerian politician, by reputation. He also met her, he said, in 2001 when she accompanied a group of American politicians that included Mr. Jefferson to Akwa Ibom, to see oil-related pollution problems there.

“All I needed to do was ask Aisha if she knew him,” Mr. Attah recalls.

General Buhari, has since denied that Aisha Buhari is his daughter, in spite of the contrary proofs, pretty much as he denied his adopted son, Mr. Mohammed Buhari, who was likewise captured in May 2014, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for swindling a woman Mrs. Nwokwocha Florence, of N20m to put resources into an oil and gas business with a guarantee to make mouthwatering returns to the woman.
The court papers said Aisha Buhari is Buhari's daughter not wife.
Aisha Buhari imposter testified against Jefferson in court in person.

Politics › Re: Jonathan Finally Reveals Nigeria’s Worth Before Handing Over To Buhari by jpphilips(m):
Deceiving his gullible followers since 2009.

Ex looter Jonathan let me give you my own facts so we compare notes.

1) While you inherited the second biggest economy in Africa, it is petty chicanery to say you handed over the biggest to the next government a feat that was of no effort of yours.
The rebasing of Nigeria's economy was long overdue for 15yrs before it was done in your time suffice to note that the result was a cumulative progress made in 15yrs not just your era. Worthy again of mention is that the biggest growth indicator was recorded by the telecom industry a feat achieved by OBJ between 2000-2001.

2) Dangote's wealth ranking has become an indicator for economic growth? How about the wealth ranking of civil servants in the ministry of works? which school did Jonathan attend sef?

3) From revelations so far, the only reason you maintained the independence of INEC is because you underestimated the power of the people, you thought because you bribed your way through in 2011 that Nigeria is yours for the taking in 2015, with $2.5b election war chest in liquid cash under the dispensary ATM of Sambo Dasuki, even the gods will do your bid.

4) Ask yourself this question, if you didn't hand over peacefully to Buhari, what would you have done? you have no choice but to save your own skin, foreign secretary Kerry had extracted a signed commitment of peaceful accord from both contestants, the US stationed 300 marines in Ghana as a rapid response to any breakdown of violence, Mr Jonathan I ask you again, what choice do you have than to congratulate Buhari?
If you did otherwise, Hague would have been the least you will get. Stop deceiving your gullible followers, you are exploiting their dead brains.

5) cement importation was mull by the OBJ administration, the standards and targets were set by him and strict compliance on milestones were closely monitored and enforced, around 2006, Ibeto's license was withdrawn in part for failing to meet import scale down milestone and quality standards, I agree that policy paid off during your administration but please don't ever pass it on as your achievement, it insults our collective intelligence.
Since you appreciate other efforts of previous administrations that materialized in your administration, can you kindly mention one policy you set in motion that is supposed to materialize in few years to come, just one apart, Dasuki gate?
Just go and hide and forever remain quiet.

What does this mean?

What is wrong with a people demanding 100% control of their own resources? What is wrong with True Federalism and why can't we practice it in Nigeria? Why should other states control their own solid minerals and natural resources and Niger Delta can't control our own oil.

What is wrong in saying we cannot continue feeding the whole nation? Why should Hausa/Fulani whose only ambition in life is to over populate Nigeria get anything from our oil wealth when they contribute nothing to our treasury?

Our leaders have been corrupt but so is every leader in Nigeria. Moreover Nigeria has stolen more from us than our leaders can ever steal. If the ND had been given "special status" as is rightly deserved as the bedrock of this nation, more development would've been here.

Stop that layman's theory of "let us hold our leaders accountable". What about all the oil blocks owned by Northerners, are our leaders responsible for that as well?

I guess we should also blame our leaders for lack of electricity, delapitated federal roads, bad health care, rotten federal institutions, etc
How much did you invest in your resources to assume 100% control?
