FreelanceRebel: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5b/Nigerian_F7.jpg
The Year is 2022, The US-Africa Operational base in Djibouti received a report that ISWAP and BHT wanted to carry out a joint attack on its embassy in Abuja and that two division of the insurgent had gathered around a small town in Niger state ready to execute their operation at any given command.
But the report was declared as unauthentic by DHQ and that Drone surveillance and Tucano reconnaissance reports did not support the US Claim. The DHQ in Abuja assures the US Government that everything is under control.
Uncertified with the feedback from DHQ, the USAFRICOM operation command in Djibouti decide to send two F-16 into the heart of Niger state to find and destroy the insurgent camp.
At 12pm report reaching the desk of the CDS - Gen A. G. Olonisakin that two low flying American F-16 was seen flying over Maiduguri. Immediately, He send a signal to 330 NA - Jos to intercept the two flying figther. Before take-off, the Nigerian Pilots have being given strict rule of engagement that they are not to enaged the F-16 in Dogfight rather should intercept and escort them of out of Nigeria Airspace.
At 12:20pm the American F-16 will now see 4 Chinese Chengdu F7 in formation, 2 on their tail another 2 flying aside, each having 2 to 1. The lead Pilot on the Nigeria Fleet Lt. Kafayat Sanni using hand gesture ordered the F-16 pilots to make a u-turn. 25 mins later the two F-16s will be seen flying over Chad on their way home.
What makes this story special is the need to recognize the Capability of Nigeria Airforce for owning 12 MiG-21 Derivative Fighter Jet; the Chengdu F-7s aka Fishcan. MiG-21 (aka Fishbed) is a supersonic jet fighter and interceptor aircraft, designed by the Soviet Union in order to compete with their Western counterparts.
Modern fighters don’t fly much faster than the MiG-21 or manoeuvre much more capably. While they do carry more ordnance and have more sophisticated electronic equipment, many air forces can treat these as luxuries; they simply want a cheap, fast, easy-to-maintain aircraft that can patrol airspace and occasionally drop a few bombs. The Fishbed fits the bill. MiG-21 remains one of the iconic fighters of the supersonic age.
The Chengdu-F7 has undergone several modifications and improvement over the years to include modern weaponry and radar system. With the inherited supersonic from Mig-21, I have the Opinion that Nigerian Pilot flying the Chengdu-F7 could give Amerian F-16 a good chase.
Recently on Feb. 27 2019, Indian Pilot flying the Mig-21 shot down Pakistani Pilot Flying American F-16 fighter jet.
What do you think, Could Nigeria Airforce be great as Egyptian Airforce of the 1960s? You must have been stup!d all your life to come up with this horse sh!t, I blame it on the soakaway you ve been smoking all along. |

Compare and see for yourself. Ask yourself, who in his right senses compares an Attack/Transport combo platform with Attack only platform? It is not just about comparison tools, that guy Warthunder has no clue the basis for such comparison.
A Psychologist once told me (jokingly) that the problem of Nigerians isn't the quality of education but a genetic degradation that compromised their thinking ability, im beginning to take that joke seriously.
A grown arse man could have all the knowledge in the world but he lacks the ability to apply the same knowledge, what use is the knowledge anyways?
I became horrified when he brought in sales record in technical comparison. sadly, loads of his likes felt cool with his position, that tells you he isn't alone in the sickness.

WARTHUNDER: An ordinary man that wrote the story is your god now abi? You can't be smarter than him? Boeing and the source chose only the two helicopters they wish to compare. Common sense should tell you that because their comparison also excludes Eurocopter Tiger and China Z-10 that looks exactly like Apache, does not mean Tiger and WZ-10 are inferior rivals not competing with Apache.
My guy u hav problem tinking outside a box.
Look it's not about common sense bruz, it's about technical military sense, Boeing cannot compare Mi-35 with Apache because Boeing does not produce assault helicopters of Mi-35 class, Boeing only builds attack helicopters of Mi-28 class.
So Boeing is totally silent on Mi-35 and chose Mi-28 for comparison, same with that your data source, they both said clearly that the comparison is strictly for attack helicopters and Mi-35 doubles as a troop transport, not categorized with those types.
Russia built the Mi-28 as marketing concept to compete with Apache for customers by using copy copy look-alike shape design, that was the failed idea of rival that only 2 buyers choose. Reality turned out differently than designers concept plan, reality today is 80 air forces worldwide choose Mi-35 if they cannot get Apache, so miltary forces world wide have made Mi-35 the real life rival to Apache in real warfare, not in marketing design concept. This simple fact now becomes rocket science too complex for you to understand. Did you use the comparison tool and you didn't see all the attack helos that compete with the Apache including some you mentioned?
If you know anything about capability comparison, you would've known you indirectly answered your own question, Like hell you could. Ah-64 and mi-28 are strictly attacks, Mi-35 combines attack with transport, that alone disqualifies the later from competing with the former, that was the reason Boeing doesn't need to mention your darling Mi-35, like I said, Mi-35 will be mentioned when Boeing compares attack & transport you are not smarter than Boeing please keep quiet.
The comparison standard Boeing used in that tool you're struggling to understand is a global standard, I have that for automobiles as well, unfortunately, I will not share it with you because you lack the underlying principle for comparing capabilities, I wont be responsible for your next migrane.
In the automobile tool, once you select a compact sedan like Toyota Corolla, Honda's Accord will disapper, but Honda's Civic will come alive, same thing happens when you select a mid size Sedan like Honda Accord, Toyota's Corolla will disappear while the Camry comes alive.
In a comparison tool, anything not on the list isn't a competitor, that's the ABC knowledge you are expected to have before comparing anything, unfortunately the man that doesn't know jack thinks he is smarter than Boeing, accept my sympathies
There is no technical comaprison tool that brings in "patronage" into the equation so your constant repeating sales figure when the subject is technical comparisons is silly!.
If Honda sells just 1 Accord or doesn't sell at all, it doesn't stop it from competing with Toyota's Camry technically, stop sounding like a comedian.

WARTHUNDER: Oops! Your source did not even mention Mi-35M at all, it says comparison strictly for attack helicopters only, so it excluded Mi-35M being assault helicopter. You don't even know the difference between attack & assault helo.
Your source only compared data of Apache vs Mi-28 so it does not show or prove any Mi-28 superiority over Mi-35M. Wrong comparison basis is how people fail exams and blame lecturer.
I knew you won't find any technical source to prove Mi-28 is better than Mi-35M, cuz none exists. All you càn ever prove is your own gut feelings. See how many days you laboured Googling like you will get paid, still yet no Mi-35 vs Mi-28 result to be found. There is a comparison tool I left you to compare all attack helos, use it and stop whining, I gave you days to see if you have a clue how those comparisons are made, you turned out with the usual horse shit, believe me because I teach kids in kindergarten nonsesnse. Boeing said the AH-64 compete with Mi-28 & Ka52, are you smarter than Boeing? If you see a comparison chart with AH-64 & Mi28 but no Mi-35, common sense should tell you the later isn't competing with the former. |

WARTHUNDER: I read dozens of database info and PDFs on Mi-28, Mi-35 M, Apache, all many years ago before I ever knew you exist From official published data I picked one point already, Mi-35M has superior armour protection beating Mi-28 to rival Apache.
80 air forces that chose Mi-35 did gut procurement? Na u dey rant wit ya guy feelings my bruz.
Plz post now data side by side capability comparison table of Mi-28 vs Mi-35 M new variant of 2005, you say am wrong, now u prove me wrong with data and stop dis your noise abeg. Oops!! you just didn't read these onesThere’s one big difference between a military attack helicopter and a military transport helicopter: one carries a lot of guns, and the other carries a lot of weight. And the US Army AH-64 Apache and Russian Ka-52 Alligator are generally considered to be the two best military attack helicopters in the world (with the Russian Mi-28N arguably in a close third)...Boeing reported by Buisness insider. You can help yourself further here: Use that tool for Mi-35 & learn more.

WARTHUNDER: I have proved u wrong wit some statistics already, 80 real air forces bought Mi-35 while only 2 chose Mi-28. I already said Mi-35 has superior armour, no weapon on Mi-28 that is not on Mi-35. NAF's 12 new Mi-35 has the newest latest most modern most sophisticated Russian avionic technology capabilities of year 2005 to beat older Mi-28.
I won't waste my time writing long comparison of capabilities that everyone can Google find. Why don't you write your long comparison analysis to prove me wrong and prove wrong all 80 air forces that chose to buy Mi-35 not Mi-28?
I won't be dragged into dose endless arguments dat guys do here all because some people forever stick to their wrong points even if proved clearly wrong, all cuz of ego, as if ego wins prizes in Olympics You can't prove capabilities wrong or right with your gut feeling & transactional stats, its an absurd way of thinking. AH-64 compares side by side with Mi-28, until you get those capabilities, you won't make sense! Trust me |

nemesis8u: I don't usually comment on internal affairs
But if somebody asked me , i will say that the tucano deal is a good deal
Why ?
Becz of this reason
The 500 + million dollars was government of Nigeria's money stolen and stashed in American banks in America.
It is very difficult , close to impossible to recover black money within a reasonable period of time , if at all, due to legal complications usually put up deliberately by the country where the black money is stashed since that country seeks to earn interests from the stashed black money and keep the money inside the country.
Ever wonder why Switzerland allows US black money in its banks to be returned to US but does not allow other countries who r weaker to get the black money back , they cite legal hurdles which they claim as Sovereign right to stop black money from being returned to the countries from where it was stolen or illegally transferred.
If Switzerland refuse US America will kick Switzerland banks out of the SWIFT which will destroy Switzerland banking within hours.
Other countries don't have this type of leverage to recover stolen money stashed abroad.
Anyways i hope u guys realise, instead of the 500 million dollars of stolen Nigerian money generating millions of interest for the American banks for God knows how many years to come , u now have got a deal where that unusable money is financing a govt to govt arms deal with all the best possible bells and whistles. I will love a piece of what you smoke, it feels baked!! I wonder how you guys type fallacies with confidence.

WARTHUNDER: Someone said dis b4 but I didnt reply cuz I avoid endless arguments. Rival in what way?
My bruz, no weapon on Mi-28 dat Mi-35M cannot carry. Mi-35M armour is superior to Mi-28 armour. People have wrong ideas dat Mi-28 is better, no, not latest type NAF dozen Mi-35M Hind E with the most advanced Russian avionics ever.
Russia rivals Apache with Mi-35, if you ask them for combat helicopter sale, Russia will market Mi-35 to you. Apart from the maker, only 2 countries bought Mi-28, while 20 countries bought Apache and 80 countries bought Mi-24/35. That shows you the real two rivals according to judgement by air forces worldwide, not according to we civilians' judgement nah Was expecting you to do a side by side comparison of Mi 28 & Mi35 vs Apache, highlighting features & capabilities. You will be convinced after that. |

Few months to the next American election, we are hearing reports of US special forces killing Al Baghdadi ,they said he blew himself up so no body can be provided. This is the game they are playing. Has Bin Laden or Baghdadi come back to life to refute the US claims? One thing for sure is that the US actually knows where these guys are, they take out close successors to avoid reprisals, intensify their efforts during elections to score big. Trump once accused obama of just giving an order "go get him", he wouldn't have given that order if his location was in doubt.

Covert1: Kids know nothing come here and be ranting rubbish. If Boko haram/ISWAP was a traditional conventional/guerrilla force like we've seen with most other rebel groups it would have since been crushed too by the Nigerian Army that has the pedigree of destroying or keeping the peace between such state sponsored rebel armies from the Congo in the 60's to the Biafran Army, the Sierra Leonean Army and its associated insurgent groups, Liberia's Charles Taylor's Army to other sundry rebel organizations like UNITA. The difference here is the ideology. In ISWAP/BHT we have islamafacists terrorists who come to die not necessarily to win the war but to inflict as much pain as possible on the superior military power it fights. UNITA in itself was crushed by Angola with support from many countries like Cuba and Nigeria.
Nigeria especially stood out in the liberation struggle of many African states with material and financial support including in some cases direct clandestine military support by way of military advisers and weapons. So pls when attempting to bash Nigeria stop looking in the wrong places. The Nigerian Military today is better, is still very powerful, highly capable and maintains the necessary deterrence capabilities against contemporary african states including Angola. P&ID went to Court in 2013.
The contract was hurriedly drafted and signed with a forged Yar'adua signature in Jan 2010!
GEJ became President in February 2010!
He had no hand in the original contract and he was right to cancel the Cabal's attempt at fleecing Nigeria on the heels of leaving power.
P&ID went to Court in 2013 because they were sure of victory because the original contract was so daft.
P&ID is a shell company registered in Ireland that is jointly owned by members of the Yar'adua cabal and corrupt British politicians.
Same cabal elements are heavily infused in this current govt.
GEJ agreed to an out of court settlement but refused to pay because he knew very well who the money was going to.
Buhari (the dolt) was advised not to pay the settlement because the cabal had been assured by their British collaborators that they will get a favorable ruling from the British courts.
All these Croc tears from the Buhari govt is nothing but pure scam as the cabal have now secured legal heist courtesy of the idiot in Aso Rock.
Mumu P&ID contract was signed in January 2010, so says the human rat in the office of the presidency, won't bother with your ignorance, im sure you have no clue how contracts are signed at the federal level because you are prolly an undergraduate trying out your cheap tecno phone. Only an individual with low IQ throws around his assumptions as fact, P&ID connived with a British court because you were raised at Ojuelegba not to have a clue how the British justice system works.
The NEC is the only body that has the final recommendation for projects like that before presidential approval, Jonathan was NEC chairman between 2007 to 2010, Jonathan recommended it to the presidency, your cabal hogwash doesn't hold water, you are free to continue deceiving your fellow kids, but pls fvck off my mention while at it. |

Abuharib: 73 houses and 28 shops were set ablaze by Boko Haram insurgents in an attack launched at three Borno State villages on Thursday August 22.
Borno state governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum disclosed that three Local Government Areas; Gubio, Magumeri and Konduga, have been attacked in the last one week.
He also said that he has complained to President Buhari about the increased attacks by Boko Haram in the state while revealing that the chairperson of the State Emergency Management Agency, Hajiya Yabawa Kolo notified him of the recent attack. The Governor assured residents and community leaders affected by the attack of immediate reconstruction of houses destroyed.
Though not revealing if any casualty was recorded in the attack launched by the insurgents, Yabawa Kolo confirmed that 73 houses and 28 shops were burnt down in Thursday's attack.
“In Borri, 17 households and four shops were burnt. In Wanori village, 34 households and 18 shops were also set ablaze while 22 households and 6 shops were torched in Kaleri-Abdule village, bringing the total of houses affected to 73 and 28 shops,” she said.
During the visit Governor Zulum held discussions with youth volunteers under the Civilian JTF, who have been helping with community policing. He assured them of his support to ensure adequate policing.
