soonest: U go about quoting everybody in this thread. The person my post was meant for took it in good faith. Now if u do hate virgins this passionately u don't go about singing it to high heavens. It's ur life, make ur choice. Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion n there's nothing u will say that will change that.
The bold part of your post was no where, insinuated in any of my posts, for you to have misconstrued that fact, renders you unworthy for a discourse. I don't care how old you are but I can objectively tell you that I take it personal when mentally unfit people quote my comments.

spikesC: Errm, oga jpphilips, you don't have to insult me. Maybe you really need to be schooled.
I am a Nigerian, and the Nigerian law clearly states what my rights as a citizen is.

These rights include, but not limited to, Right to life, Right of Liberty, Right to fair Hearing, Right of Association, Right to own a property, Right to religion of choice and conscience, Equality before the law, Freedom from Discrimination, A suspect is assumed to be innocent until Pronounced guilty by Court of Law, Freedom of Expression, Freedom of Movement, Freedom of Assembly.

Now Mr. jpphilips, if the current state of administration cannot accord to me these my rights, what am i to do?
Stand and watch my loved ones to die?

Well, i guess people of your IQ and above could answer that for me.

But then, how can you when your intelligence could not fathom the meaning of rights.
And the unfortunate genius has rights in a lawless society!!! like I asked before, which particular deity do you have in mind?

nchewi: Excuses! Excuses!! And Even more Excuses!!! Yes, we 'Nigerians' want a magician that can clean up the mess of the past administration. If Oga Jona is not a Magician, then he should leave us in peace n return to Otouke!!! Don't tell me wot past administration did or didn't do. Don't keep reminding me of the past when we ought to be creating a Future that we can look forward to. This is my argument. I hope u get d point. If it pleases you, plz mention 1 sector that Jonathan has revolutionarized to a 21st century standard!! Oh! Plz don't mention the 'airports'.... There are this administration's biggest joke. Thank u.
Please don't mind that guy you quoted, he is not actually making excuses, he is too dumb to think, his post is a reflection of where wisdom failed him.
Help me to remind him that in 1918 after the first world war, there was great depression in Europe, America, Middle east and Asia, the whole world nearly came to a halt and was so broke, in less than 20yrs, these economies have bounced back so robust to prepare for another war.

Tell him that Nigeria never lost everything at some point, we were only mismanaged, also remind him that during the great depression, there was no country to run to because they are facing similar challenges.
Tell him that in the midst of plenty and international assistance he still believes Jonathan should be pitied, then his likes deserved to be segregated by the powerful hands of nature because he is unfit to be human.

That almost renders the whole write up invalid.
I'm sorry it's difficult to take some who says that seriously.
A country where we have to count the high profile women off the fingers of both hands and feet still has a long way to go in women's emancipation.
He wanted her to be specific about the part of Nigeria still in the dark?
I guess we should title the next topic 'emancipation of women in the North' or
'Emancipation of women in urhobo land'
Aren't we all Nigerians?

Second, one would have expected him/her to put their points accross without throwing insults and jabs at the person of chimamanda.
I don't know what this write up is all about, but it is glaring that at the heart of it is a deep dislike for adichie. And hate is one thing I don't do.if I quote all the sentences where she/he said nasty things about the writer, it'll be very obvious this topic is about chimamanda and nothing else.
And frankly I've a life so colorful I don't sit and discuss celebrities.

Google what i posted, you would find references that attribute to the fact that these things happened, the problem with anti-conspiracy theorists is that they believe conspiray theories are figments of our imagination, all conspiracy theories can be researched and investigated, google bill gates, henry kissinger, depopulation, vaccines, there is a correlation

Dots connect , which makes one see a larger conspiracy theory about our health, allowing the drug industry to flourish, total eradication of natural occuring foods and herbs, which are the best remedies of diseases, replacing natural foods with gmo foods, victimisation and blacklisting of alternative herbal remedies who come up with cures for dieaseses

You need to take time and do research and do not succumb to false propaganda

Health › Re: Ebola Virus And Hiv/aids Are Created By The Elite by jpphilips(m): 10:18pm On Aug 04, 2014
Your number 2 is likely gonna happen to this OP who have refused every fabric of education.

Imagine 200 able black f00ls like the OP claiming they were infected with what they know not,

As much as I agree on the presence of fluoride in Atomic bombs, it is only illiteracy that will make someone to juxtapose the effects of gamma rays from nuclear fission with fluoride poisoning.

That is exactly the thought of m0r0ns who make the higher Nigerian populace, and yes the Us is sending their experts to treat the bunch of retards in Africa who knowest not appreciation in life.

Your problem is education, you have shown the world how dense your brain is.
As much as the opinion you spewed up there remains yours as such, you expect it to be respected, the bad news is this; not all opinion is worthy of public consumption and that is why men and women aka parents spent so much to bring you up to speed in ratiocination.
Time, energy, resources, sacrifice were made to see that you don't think this way but after all the effort, the resultant effect was a pea brain embedded in a skull casing so thick that only hairs could sprout out, not even air nor valuable information could pass.

This opinion of yours is the reason the Northern part of Nigeria suffered a polio epidermic recently, because at some point, riffraff like you told them they are using immunization to sterilize Africans the reason they refused immunization and became lab rats for the polio virus,
where they better off in their fears? of course not, they are the street beggars that every state Govt is fighting so hard to rehabilitate and in the worst cases, deport them back to where they came from.

If m0r0ns like you were lucky to posses a functional head against the pear Angel Gabriel gave him in place of head, he would have juxtaposed the south vs North sterility ratio to ascertain the veracity of the so called conspiracy theorem, but as an African individual cursed already not just with shady looks but shady brains also, had no time to task his brain skull, shameful huh!.

Today is not really my birthday but a day of magnanimity I set aside not to educate m0r0ns like you but to see if I can awaken the least logical consciousness from your dense brain.

Africa as a continent is backward, of course a continent filled with individuals like the OP cannot really make progress, because of this, we have no real answer to what our problems are and how it affects us, it was the same white that explained it to us and equally gave us a chance to fight them. How?

Before now, your fore fathers were throwing sickle cell patients to the evil forest and blaming it on "Ogbanje" not until the whites came and told them what it is and how they could prevent it, I don't expect you to understand this point as a scion of those Neanderthals who were dehumanizing their fellow species, assuming that evolution has made a little difference in you over the years, will you say we didn't have Sickle cell before now? we did, but we knew not what it was, thanks to the white man who told us and proffered a way out.

I know your dense brain never knew that Ebola has been around since 1976, of course being a product of Jakande free education I am certain that your Biology teacher being an unqualified corper must have skipped that part.

The fact that we waited for the white man to discover it for us doesn't mean it was not there and instead of pinning it on the white man, sane minds are grateful for their works in Africa and have shown appreciation through awards and honors, as a goat brain, I am sure you know not why Bill gates have won "Time" magazine man of the year award severally.

Now talking about diseases and the foreign interest like you alleged;

Black plaque wiped Europe's population by 30% between 1346-1350, since the destination was Europe at the time, does your postulation on the white man stand?

VHF (viral hemorrhagic fever) ravaged Mexico in 1576, guess the white gave it to them too?

plague was in England in 1603, Italy between 1629-1631 etc, are you saying they gave it to themselves, at the cost of 280,000 lives in the case of Italy?

1 million Russians died between 1852 to 1860 of guess what? "yellow fever", ya! it was a problem at the time, who gave it to them?

Much recently in 2009, "Dengue fever" ravaged Australia are you still holding on to your conspiracy theory? if the white men have had equal share of their own epidemic, common sense should cease this medium to inform you that your present day 2014 is the white man's 1840, unfortunately, there is no sense in you let alone one that is common.

The difference between you and the white man is that, while you are lazy looking for a god to bribe 10% to solve your problems or where to trade blames, they were pragmatic enough to get the solution to their problems, while you continued living in 1540 Europe in 2014.
should be proper I said "Shame on you" at this point.

Why will the whites give you epidermic when they have had worse epidemic than yours at some point in their history? oh! sorry, I forgot that dense brains don't read, they just peruse pictures.
Why will they be interested in depopulating you when the first 5 most populous nations are not even in Africa?
And your new found Ebola being controlled by red cross and Doctors without borders, guess they are African organizations too?

Billionaires in America and Europe are contributing immensely to research and development of vaccines for the diseases ravaging Africans, typical example is the cholera outbreak in Nigeria in 2001 and the Poliomyelitis outbreak in 2007, Bill gates (a white man by the way)coughed out over $80m from his hard earned sweat to give victory to ingrates like you who would have been national statistics had he not intervened.

Bill and Mellisa foundation (a consortium of American and European Billionaires, with no Nigerian Billionaire as a member by the way) have invested over $250m for an African never do well like you, a scum whose sense of reasoning has been greatly impaired by high doses of "Eba" to have a malaria vaccine come 2015.

When you hear USAID, SFH etc you don't know that the white man is the reason HIV and Aids have not sent Africans like you to the great beyond. What concerns Bill gates with your malaria? mosquito dey bite am? but the humanity in him is the reason a break through will be made come 2015, I don't expect a low life in your position to appreciate that anyways!! afterall there is no clear difference between stup!dity and evil.

It is an unappreciative fool who peddles conspiracy theorem as yours, I hereby declare you a patient in dire need of Moral rehabilitation.

nosairabor: My elder brother received a call late Sunday night while we were watching 'Who Wants To Be Millionaire' gameshow.

The female friend who called evidently was in fear like every other residence. She screamed that a woman at their street somewhere at Lawanson in Surulere, Lagos was suspected to have contacted the deadly Ebola virus. Eeeh! We all jumped on our feet and wasn't interested in Who Wants To Be Millionaire gameshow anymore.

The suspected victim was said to be a Nurse. The caller said two ambulances of the State Government came to the woman's residence. The medical team all dressed up in protective garment from head to toe took the woman away in one of the ambulance.

This case is yet to be further verified.

Attached is a photo obtained online. I am not sure if such cream exists or if it was photo-shopped. But little findings has is that hand sanitizer is on increase demand even retail store, Shoprite was out of stock... *lip sealed*

Health › Ebola: Why Is Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu (minister For Health)still Keeping His Job? by jpphilips(op):
I ask this question because the last time Nigerians lost their lives in droves in the Hands of Boko haram loads of officials in the defense ministry were either, retired or dismissed.

One may think that this "Ebola soon to be an epidemic" in Nigeria is an act of "god", in the parlance of the religious pundits, but then, if the facts before us are carefully subjected through the clinical prognosis of common sense, a whole lot of discerning minds will agree completely with me that Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, does not deserve to be addressed as a minister of this great republic.

I personally could still remember vividly few months ago when Jakumo opened a thread on how close this virus is to Nigeria, of course, we don't expect a "whole" professor and "Minister" to have time for a microcosm like Nairaland which happens to be a representation of a microscopic Nigerian populace.

What bothered me greatly, was the Fact that news agencies Like CNN, Aljazeera and the BBC have been releasing updates on the spread and the WHO efforts in containing the scourge, yet our Amiable prof, and unfortunate minister was too big to turn on the Television.

At the very least appeal for leniency in any sane nation where common sense has not been torpedoed by tribal and political sentiments, the WHO news bulletin of 29th July 2012 is an evidence of gross neglect by the health minister, between 1st of August 2012 to 20th of August 2012, Ebola has spread through three West African countries (Uganda, sierra Leone and the Congo) respectively.
Even if this unfortunate Minister is Allergic to Television, does it mean that a serving health minister does not even read the WHO news bulletin?
it is absurd, opprobrious and totally unacceptable, this nation is sinking very fast with the crop of inefficiencies it is parading as public officers.

A careful perusal of the 2013 budget, revealed that Our unfortunate minister budgeted 74,980,348naira for magazines and journals, little did we know that he finds it difficult to keep abreast with WHO news bulletin which happens to be FREE online.
Do I need to mention that the same Inefficiency of this man is the major reason, doctors have been on strike.

Find below an excerpt quote from a breakdown in the 2013 budget, and how much we have spent so far, does it not amaze Nigerians that all entry points in this country have no emergency response strategy even when a contagious virus was just few thousands kilometers away? Pay attention to the bold parts, where our revered Minister listed familiar epidemics, but his so out of touch with the reality across his border probably undermined a deadly virus like Ebola, need I remind us that this column of Prof chukwu's budget is costing the Nigerian Tax payers 480,416,005:

EPIDEMIOLOGY:HEALTH EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE TO EPIDEMICS(CSM, MENINGITTIS, CHOLERA, LASSA FEVER, HINTFLUETC) INCLUDING PROCUREMENT AND DISTRIBUTION OF EMERGENCY DRUGS TO EPIDEMIC PRONE STATES;(B)SUPPORT TO
THREE(3)NUMBER VIROLOGYLAB AT IRRUA,IBADAN,MAIDUGURI AND ESTABLISHMENT OF ONE(1)NUMBERVIROLOGY LAB AT ABAKALIKI.(C) INTEGRATED DISEASE SURVEILLANCE,IMPLEMENTATION OF IDSR FOR EPIDEMIC PRONE AND COMMUNICABLE DISEASES.(D)EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE TO TRAUMA.
The inefficiencies in the north eastern part of the country is the reason over 5,000 irreplaceable lives have been lost, yet Nigerians are folding arms hoping on God. The Saudi Arabian Government in April fired its health minister Abdullah al Rabiah at the outbreak of the mers corona virus, we should at this point learn the need for a level of discipline to be enshrined in our public servants.

If Nigerians let this dark era of our history slide without Consequences, then I will believe that we as a nation lack knowledgeable people, we will lose all moral right to ask a Mikel who could not complete a pass while Doning the National Jersey,to score goals in a an international tournament.

After the last weeks denial that no Nigerian is infected with the deadly virus, it baffled and tore my heart to shreds that a man who is conferred upon him with the highest title in the Academic world, could go on air to make such premature claim on the Viral spread, ignoring completely the fact that the incubation period of the virus is between 2 to 21 days. I doubt if Professor chukwu actually passed through a trado medicine class let alone the college of Medicine.

Here is WHO's assessment of the Nigerian situation, it clearly states that four people are already down with the virus as at 1st of august,2014 which includes a nurse.

If this is not a clear case of an Administrator who has lost touch with the reality in his ministry, I wonder what is?

perhaps most Nigerians are oblivious of the fact that Senegal and Cote d Ivore geographically located closest to the Epicenter, till August this year, are yet to register a single Ebola case.

Prof. Onyebuchi chukwu should go back to school because evidently, Politics and administration is no where near his miniature talents, President Jonathan should kindly do the needful in the interest of public safety.

Ebola has been in Africa since 1976, no African country bothered to look for a cure, in 2003 the United states DOD (God bless America Anyways!!) supported its research with a meager $25m and today they have Zmapp, guess what you have; Begging and ranting on the internet, shameless fvcktards!!,

Is it $25m we cant afford? or a research center that private companies own? what exactly is the problem with Africans and Nigerians?
the money stolen from NNPC in a year is enough to get these things done yet we are here whining over America this, America that.
Look at the clown you have as a health minister, he sounds so confused, looks helpless, talks like a mechanic.

Do I blame him? of course not, instead of the President giving him a query for such unprofessional comment, the confused president was calling late Patrick sawyer names, as if he has a panel to face in resurrection.

Onyebuchi chukwu is a disgrace to Medicine, he told us that all the 8 Ebola quarantine patients are stable and responding to treatment, two days on; Justina the Nurse died.

Before July, there was neither an Infra red thermometer nor a bio hazard suit in any entry point in this country, yet Nigerians are blaming the United states!!

How about demanding professionalism and accountability from people who pilot the affairs of this nation?

How can the Minister tell Nigerians that he has a "drug" Nano silver for our Ebola patients, you people don't know the kinda mess these guys are making till you become a victim, what stops Chukwu from getting clarification from FDA first before coming to misinform Nigerians? it took the Intervention of the FDA for Chukwu to agree to proceed with the recommendation of his committee, these are the kinda fvcktards we have in power and you expect serious countries to take us seriously?

A f00l who saw the test report of the Doctor and claim she has survived Ebola while WHO is saying she is a false positive, meaning she never had the Ebola virus, thank God for WHO quarantine guide lines, Chukwu would have infected her there, meanwhile, has already set Nigerians on a jubilation frenzy that one of theirs have survived the lethal virus, how worse can this shameless man get?

Lagos state (our Ebola Epicenter) is yet to receive a dime from the $11m intervention fund, yet, people are still holding America by the jugular,

The minister must go!!

DICKtator: very funny position
how they rank countries at the commonwealth games baffles me
did we participate in all the games?
what should be our parametre for success is to weigh the number of games we participated in and compare it to the medals garnered. This would ultimately determine whether we were victors or not.
Canada U.K. ,Australia and the likes that have more participants should also be subjected to the number of their respective participants to the ratio of medals won. This in my own opinion? should form the basis/parametre for toppings at the medal table

to cut the long story short:
winnings at the commonwealth games should be on a country-like individualistic basis instead of commonality basis

Now talking about diseases and the foreign interest like you alleged;

Eldavido1: Nigeria is more interested in developing it's manufacturing and agricultural base. Those are the main drivers of nigeria's economic growth not oil. So the can overtake as long as we keep diversifying our economy it's all good. Few years from now oil may not be a dominant factor in world economy due to the discovery of shale gas.
Crap!! you cant wait to see how corruption has wasted Nigerian boom days, Oluwa has chosen another target
