nagoma: El -Ruafa'i cannot clean soludo's shoes because those shoes are so dirty and stinking of corruption. Soludo should be behind bars with Cecelia IBRU and other members of the gang.
Talking about corruption, if the ibrus and the Akingbolas and the Atuche's made it to jail, how come soludo was exoneratedhuh
oh!! i still rem. he lectured the senate during the public hearing, lol, i dey laugh!!

mbulela: Assuming you are a guy, i owe you a drink and i am not kidding about it.
In few words you have captured the crux of the matter that is wrong with that team.
May the Almighty bless you for these choice words.

I initially wanted to read the book as i am a fan of El-rufai but after reading the reviews i declined as i was irritated by the gossip tendencies of the book. My question is how is Soludo any better?
These men just go around parading their intelligence like a badge. All they are good in is talking and pontificating.
Soludo for all his intelligence left the CBN in a state of mess. If he had done what he ought to, Sanusi would not be the local hero he has become.
With all his intelligence Ibru et al were thieving left, right and center.
These men are not worth it at all.
If you have any credentials kindly publish it for the world to see, it is baffling when losers that haven't achieved a pin meddle in affairs of the successful, bro, you are world apart with the man you are criticizing,
BTW i don't really expect failures to appreciate success.

About the bold, it is understandable if you have nothing to parade. in your world, people like tonto dike, tu face and Goldie are your Icons, in sane worlds, Soludo is a god!!!!

Adenikkee: There was a day I asked him, "do you love me?" and he said "yes". I now said but what will I do for you to love me more and he said if only I can pass my JAMB.

Well, the JAMB result came out a few days ago and I did not pass it. angry

When I told him the result, he said "hmmm, my baby since you didn't pass your JAMB I don't think things can work anymore"

Now I don't know what to do because I love him very much and don't want to lose him.

Please, could he have fallen out of love with me cos of my JAMB result or he's gotten tired of the relationship & using it as a convenient excuse to cop out OR he never loved me before? undecided

NLDers, please I need your advice. cry
how old are you to talk about boyfriend and love??

Politics › Re: Amaechi Will Be Treated Like A Traitor – Dokubo-Asari by jpphilips(m): 6:20pm On May 08, 2013
emiye: Leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force, Alhaji Mujaheed Dokubo-Asari, has described Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State as a traitor.

According to him, since the governor joined forces with the North to work against President Goodluck Jonathan, he has betrayed the people of the Niger Delta.

Dokubo-Asari, who spoke with journalists on Friday in Abuja, on Jonathan-Amaechi rift among other issues, said the 2015 general elections would “define and decide” the existence of Nigeria.

But the Rivers State Commissioner for Information, Mrs. Ibim Semenitari, told The PUNCH that Dokubo-Asari was entitled to his opinion.

She said, “I am sure those are Asari-Dokubo’s views. It is a democracy and so everybody has a right to abuse; whether those views are right or wrong is irrelevant. I do not think that as a government, we will respond to that; there is nothing to respond to in his allegations.

“Dokubo-Asari has every right to his views. But whatever he wants to say, the veracity of it is a different matter.”

The ex-militant leader said, “Rotimi Amaechi has been making disparaging statements against the person of President Goodluck Jonathan. He went to Kano State and declared there that he would contest 2015 presidential election as a running mate to a northern aspirant. He is free to do so, but the South-South will not allow traitors among us.

“If Amaechi has singled himself out as a traitor, he will be treated as a traitor; there is nothing anybody can do about it. Now that we have come out of slavery, nobody can take us back into slavery, it is not possible.

“If they like, let them ‘settle him’ and Goodluck, but we, the people of the Niger Delta, will not ‘settle’ and allow a traitor in our midst.”

On the 2015 presidential election, Dokubo-Asari said no “gang up” against Jonathan would stand.

He said, “I want to say that there will be no peace, not only in the Niger Delta, but everywhere, if Goodluck Jonathan is not the president by 2015, except God takes his life, which we do not pray for.

“Jonathan has uninterrupted eight years of two terms to be president, according to the Nigeria constitution. We must have our uninterrupted eight years of two tenures. I am not in support of any amendment to the constitution that will reduce the eight years of two tenures that Jonathan is expected to be president of Nigeria.”

I really don't expect you to be smart or have a functioning IQ, however, in a bid to peruse the expose above, i ran into this sentence, permit me to replicate

""Nigeria’s only transnational corporations were built in three years.""

At a Time Oil has been the highest earner for the country for over 2 decades, the Oil manager of the country (NNPC) after series of booms could not achieve the above quote in 25yrs.

Prof chukwuma soluda, picked the least profitable sector at the time, polished it and achieved it in just 3yrs.

you have your freedom of speech no doubt, but i am ashamed that i share the same right to Vote with a Nincompoop (forgive my language) like you.

even your biggest role model is not worthy to kiss soludo's feet, kindly bury your face in shame, god himself will be disappointed not creating you a toad.

Osama10: The government that has failed to provide the basic necessities for its citizens like Water, Road and Light should add an unwanted burden of monitoring the internet. huh huh huh

Please if they must monitor something BOKO HARAM is there. tongue lipsrsealed
you will be surprised that Boko will infiltrate these Agencies through acts of corruption and wreck more havoc with information they have on the agency and people.

Imagine a country where the NPF lease riffles to Armed robbers, even hire them police radios to perfect their escape.

jakedes: Nigerians...u guys argue a lot...you all hv failed 2 c d this is jst a means by our political leaders 2 cover their tracks...senate president had once said about monitoring the internet in past...FG Will surely potray this to favour the masses but all na wash
remember the oga at the top saga...it was the continous broadcasting through the internet that the Nigerian civil defence corp Lagos commandant got fustrated out the position...and was transfered...menh guys we dnt need 2 contract tracking our cyberspace out where we have good strong programming boys and hackers here....if them try am...even the isrealis wey dm gv the contract go run cuz them go believe naija boys.
these guys are aware that cyber politics will have a greater effect in the polls come 2015 and as we all know, the dumb #team PDP# wont stand a chance so they resort to online editing,
see how its gonna play out, at the heat of campaigns, all the negative GEJ comments will disappear from cyber space, political rivals will be arrested and quizzed based on comments made online, within which the judiciary will help them delay those cases till after election.
for those of you in support, do you know that if this law pulls through, you can be arrested for mentioning boko haram and then quizzed and detained, they know they have nothing on you but you must part with some money to regain your freedom, that will be the end of this road.

the other countries that successfully monitor the cyber space have effective judicial system and little corruption, in our case, one phone call a politician as low as council chairman will have all your data.

have you guys wondered what has been happening with the so called gsm reregistration data? doesn't it bother you how people
big boys who haven't met you before, calls you first by your name and the next thing he is in the office without asking for your address.

Nigeria is a total crap, any politician that wants you dead already has tools to get you, lastly, the cyber space recently has changed the way things are done in the country, after the cries on theodore orji on the internet, Portharcourt road Aba got a face lift, so many social ills have been corrected though the social media.

Nigeria is not ripe for what you guys are asking for, the increase rate of assassinations in the country today is a function of the GSM registration done lately, a country where a local council chief flaunts court orders, a country where Chris Uba, kidnapped a sitting Governor in broad day light, a country where Adedibu a local tout decides the faith of oyo citizens, i seriously cant trust such Govt with my privacy.

Politics › Re: FG Approves $3.7bn To Transmit 20,000mw by jpphilips(m): 9:20am On May 07, 2013
nameo: Nigeria's Installed Capacity is a little more than 6400MW, yet we can only wheel out less than 5000MW to the Grid cos of very inadequate Transmission Infrastructure over the years. From the 10 new Power plants and repairs on some of the Legacy plants and a few other plants like the Rivers State Plant, it is expected that the Installed capacity would increase to more than 10,000MW in the next 2 years or so. And then once the investments starts to flow in post-privatization down the years, many more thousand MWs would be generated by Private concerns. How would all these 'captive' Power be Evacuated/Transmitted to the Grid and then to our homes/businesses.

Transmission has always been one of the MAIN 'weak links' in our Power chain (others like the Regulatory environment and Generation is been addressed by the current Admin), and we wouldn't go far if it is not addressed frontally, both for today and fro tomorrow. The Government have done well in giving up Management and Day-to-Day running of TCN to the Reputable Manitoba International, BUT Alternative funding for the Modernization and serious upgrade/expansion of the Transmission Infrastructure should also be pursued. That is what I think is been done here.

Whilst concerns about the proper use of the funds could and should be asked considering our past, believe me: THIS IS a VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY GOOD MOVE by the Government; something that should have been done like 40 years ago and continuously too, for that matter.
As much as it is commendable to improve the weak Nigeria's transmission infrastructure, there are various genuine concerns and fears,
every sane mind can quickly deduce that the contract is largely inflated, this is obvious because the announcement doesn't relay the technical scope of work.
I chose to join the train of the skeptics because i understand how people in Govt steal money, before you start throwing kudos, ask yourself, what is the distance the 20,000mw will be conveyed?

it is childish to tell me that you want to spend $3.7b to transmit 20,000mw of electricity without telling us the distance it will cover, in other words, the sillly sambo can throw in 20,000mw capacity from abuja to lokoja and then $3.7b is justified.

secondly, have you bothered to juxtapose it with similar projects else where?

The installed capacity you quoted above, do you really understand what it means? from the facts i ve seen on the Ground, the Govt is always announcing "proposed capacity" not installed capacity, if you believe that thing you wrote up there then you have a lot to learn.
