Mr Phillips, I usually agree with almost every post of yours but I disagree with this. The guys were very impressive. Up against an extremely determined and upbeat Zambian side that beat Algeria home and away, they (Super Eagles) dug deep and got the desired 3 points. That's all that matters.
While I appreciate the compliment however, the soccer they played wasnt entertaining never mind it produced results, considering those who we are up against on the global stage, what we played wasn't competitive, I hope they improve over time before the D day.

Buhari that was love by the Masses ended up joining political class to loot and oppress the masses.

Nigeria is dead..
dead and gone

Politicians are not actually enjoying... the masses are demanding the "impossible " from them.

Before PMB became President... he was revered watch before he leaves he would be mocked like a leper.. even by the North.
He said what he thinks within the ambient of his IQ, are we supposed to honour his illiteracy?

This is shocking and revealing at same time.

Shocking that at this stage of awareness and familiarity with the enemy and terrain the Army is still vulnerable to ambush attacks by bokoharam. Who is supervising tactical operations?

It is equally revealing that the dead were left with their body armor, bokoharam did not bother to acquire them. They must not think these body armor of high enough grade and value to shield and protect against their opponents fire power. What is the grade worn by NA?
They took some pants though grin grin, you must be kidding, what is a body amour supposed to do against anti aircraft rounds?

Too much story for just army....besides Nigerian army really needs a new logo, our official language is English, but Arabic is what's used to write whatever is written on the logo, the army is for everyone in Nigeria, not for a certain set of people, such changes would be effected in the future..if the present generation lack the mentality and knowledge to do it..!

Besides Nigerian army also needs a new code of conduct, a new oath...imagine soldiers who swore to protect Nigerians on there graduation having completed how many years/month of training, would now come out and be thinking they are higher than civilians..instead of them to show real love to the people they swore to protect, u would see some of them punishing civilians on the street (just one soldier) a big disgrace to the army..

A huge reform is coming to the army and I can tell u it would be hot and the victims of the reforms would be the generals especially, incompetent fat, pot bellied, niggas that use sticks to support themselves from falling when walking and they call it swagger stick (what a shame) keep deceiving yourselves..!! It either u kit up and show the real power of a general or u are out..!!!
Its FSC used for photo shoot not stick.

Nigeria is structured to keep the poor man in perpetual poverty.

I have never see any country in 2nd world where the whole country share rent for survival.

One of the Advantage of the status quo is distribution of Oil money to Political Class.
The poor is totally left out.

This Politicians are in every region but obviously the Northern politicians through the military created more political space for themselves receiving more of the oil money.

This politicians have a very large appetite, they spend and buy luxury.

Ironically "Igbos are the business ethnic people servicing this wealthy politicians ". They created, expanded and are running all the major market in the whole 36 state, plus FCT.
It is nature something, they don't believe in "FREE MONEY". They rather serve you An Ahlaji with solutions to your needs for you to pay them than beg you.

The ordinary trader Igbo man greatest challenge is more often time he gets affected by dumb actions of Igbo politicians. He get killed by a remote Kaduna Nzogwu action, He receives quit notice for an Unknown Nnamdi Kanu rant, He get deaths threats because Buhari is contesting.

When Igbo politician act, he act for himself, If it is beneficial, he enjoys with his family only to point of no benefit to the igbo trader in Sokoto BUT if it is offensive and provocative the common trader in Kano bears the brunt and suffer the consequences of other.

This traders serve Nigeria not just the politicians... In a country where we produce almost nothing... All we do is share and spend allocation, all the money still end in the hand of the business man... The capitalist

As it is... Igbos are the least affected by the economy or job lost in the country.. The end Buyers are suffering unless you are a politician.

Tho out of precaution against PMB kwaropsion pight , Most Abuja politicians are looting and spending their money outside Nigeria.
Some are looting beyond beyond waiting for the storm to clear so as to flex the money... That is part of the cause of Nigeria current challenge... Stolen money are spent outside.

I don't know how restructuring would look like, but the truth is only those That can adjust would survive same as separation.

Nigeria share rent? Which porgatory released this dumb goat?

You sincerely think the real militants give a fvck about igbos? During their initial kidnapping, igbos paid the highest ransome when caught in the creeks, ask around.
The problem you have is lack of exposure, you must have spent most of your life in Ozubulu not to know this emperical fact.
You have a higher chance of being shot as an igbo man than a Yoruba in the Niger delta creek, ask yourself, why are they bombing export lines that evacuate crude for Orjiakor and Obijackson but they will never touch Atiku's intels?

Anambra Youth Movement, AYM, on Sunday said it would liaise with youths from other South-East states to shut down the region over the onslaught against the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, ‎as well as refusal of Nigerian government to heed calls for restructuring.

AYM coordinator, Christian Nwakaeze, in a statement in Awka, warned the government to release all detained members of IPOB, and dialogue with the group to ensure lasting peace in the country.

He said while AYM was not calling for secession, it believed that a restructured Nigeria through a referendum would go a long way to making everybody understand why IPOB members were making their demands.

The statement read in part: “It is unfortunate that those in power, who are shouting one Nigeria everyday are even the people who are causing the division through their unpopular decisions.

“We understand that the unlawful declaration of IPOB as a terrorist group was done deliberately to satisfy the wish of the Arewa youths who threatened Nnamdi Kanu.

“It is on record that Shetima, leader of the Arewa youths, said with the support of his people, he would make sure that Kanu would be rearrested and that he would ensure that Kanu and members of his group were declared a terrorist group.

“Surprisingly, within two days of the threat, the Federal Government sought Kanu’s arrest and we all thought it was a hoax until the invasion of his house and erroneous declaration of IPOB as a terrorist group by the Nigerian Army who are yet to arrest a single Fulani militia or even Shetima of Arewa youths that was earlier declared wanted.”

I stand being corrected, the ages these couple are, used to be the marrying age in those days before now.

Tonto Dikeh, Mercy Aigbe, Damilola Adegbite, Funke Akindele, Toke Makinwa, Tiwa Savage, et al marrying in their late 20s and 30s, how come their maturity before wedding didn't help sustaining their matrimonial lives?

Omotola Jolade married at a very tender age before those mentioned above and the marriage is still waxing strong in love and togetherness.
In the next 10yrs, that guy would have married more 5 wives, its just early polygamy nothing more.

I'm surprised this topic isn't being commented on more by nairalanders from the north. Finding a solution to this problem is necessary and it's good Buhari’s seems to have an interest in it. What do you guys think about the alternatives to Transaqua project and contrarian opinions about Lake Chad?

The government audit report speaks volumes to rampant irresponsibility that goes on we with water management. The suggestions are apt and should've been implemented yesterday. Permits enforcement, drip irrigation and streaming lining regulatory bodies.
With Boko haram operating in the Lake chad basin, the project is highly unlikely. One thing I have learnt from this Buhari's presidency is that the north already has a list of factors affecting them before thinking of presidency. It is not just about the appointments but a sincerity of purpose to give the people what they deserve.
Down south, despite giving us all the juicy offices, we lost more than we gained. It seems like only northerners have political maturity in this country, the rest are f00ling around.

U only married our left-over, we did not induct u into our collective.

Igbos generally dont interfere in the affairs of their inlaw.

It is not our custom and we will not tolerate forwardness from foreigners that think marrying an Igbo woman is an express ticket to becoming Igbo or involvement in our affairs.

Let Linus Idahosa concern himself with Edo State issues, after-all Nnamdi Kanu never included Edo in Biafra.
