Politics › Re: Gov Alia: Benue Killings Planned, Targeted And Religiously Executed (April 2025) by JuanDeDios: 3:16pm On Nov 20, 2025 |
Racoon: Today, the same man is saying the opposite. Former Katsina Governor Aminu Masari, once openly admitted that Fulanis are the bandits killing and kidnapping Nigerians, said they don’t deserve amnesty. Now, there is this dangerous conspiracy of silence.
This regulation of compliance takes several forms, but one of the most obvious is the cult of silence that pervades Nigeria today despite the invasion of the region by herdsmen. There is a conspiratorial silence not to see or speak.
From state governors to even the so-called leaders, people are more invested in playing the politics of I-remain-loyal rather than calling out Fulani herdsmen for the atrocities they are committing.
These elders and leaders are maintaining a posture of self-censure and looking away from the unfolding anarchy because to speak up is to risk jeopardising certain privileges. There is something demonical about being a member of the APC. I remember that statement. He actually said Fulanis and Moslems. |

FxMasterz: You should ask yourself that question.
There's nowhere statistics are published without a clause of how the numbers were gathered. Even in academia.
Only illiterates will consume statistics based on assumptions. I didn't solicit for the statistics, so they should should publish how they got them instead of shoving unverifiable numbers down our throats..
Satisense has always failed in this area Most of the information they post is publicly available. I mean, you can get them to NBS or police HQ or Eons Intelligence or World Bank or other agency. That's why your assumption is surprising. And wrong. Some of it is not readily available and require work to extract - for example, you may have to analyze media reports to come up with the stats. Mistakes can happen, but that's not the same thing as making things up. |

The people that brought it to market for 500 also pay for transportation. cause last time I checked it's still the same range we are still buying fuel...
Something was being sold for 900 and went down to 500 and didn't even go down because of fuel.
So which transportation are you talking about. The INPUTs. All of them. The cost of transporting everything adds up. Pity you can't see that. |

Buh things that feed on maize is still not coming down... That's because other INPUTS have not come down. And that's mostly due to transport cost. |

Richtaiwo: Peter obi would not dare. His mind is conditioned to expect everything delivered to him on a platter, free of resistance. Atiku, on the other hand, is a formidable adversary, one who would defeat him resoundingly in the primaries. Rather than face such opposition, he would sooner seek out a party with no flag bearer and quietly defect. That's because Obi knows he has no chance against the kind of "primary" played by the likes of Atiku - dollarised primary. |

Sonnobax15: can you please go to any military check point and repeat exactly the same words there? . I'd love to know if it'd be possible for you to return home with your complete 32 teeth This is the problem. There are countries where they respect soldiers so much that if a soldier enters, people will stand and be saying "Thank you for your service." In those countries, soldiers don't brutalize civilians. They would never remove anyone's teeth or enter danfo and be arguing with the driver that they're staff and won't pay. They comport themselves. They don't get in the way of civilians. Don't guard anybody's land. |
