He has even mastered the art of eating the rats without having the gum stick to his fur. The first time he stole a rat laden gum from my room, we had to cut the gum and some of his fur away where it stuck. Now he has become an expert and can now consume the rats on the gum without getting his mouth stuck .

At 17 and 25, the man is older and the girl is a minor who should have no business having sex because as far as we can tell, sex is the main means of making babies. we know 17&25yr olds do have sex but that does not absolve them from responsibility. If a 17yr old has unprotected sex then they should be aware that the risk of making a baby is over 95% and the implication is that they should be ready to take care of a human being for at least, the next 18yrs of their lives. We all know that with our current economic realities, there are less than 3% of 17&25 yr olds who are economically independent.
To your question, the boy is older at 25 but the girl is equally responsible. The irony of the whole thing is that if a 17yr old boy impregnates a 25yr old, he is still going to be expected to be "the man" and take care of her and of course, he will still be expected to conviniently have "more sense".
