PoliticsRe: Channels TV Update On IMO State Governorship Election Results(photos) by JusticeSeeker: 12:10pm On Jan 16, 2020
The consensus hatred by some Igbo elites against APC is responsible for this. If The supreme court restores votes from 388 PUs then it also implies that a similar number of accredited voters have been restored. Why is Channels trying to mislead the populace and set them against the Supreme Court? The editors at channels Tv are lazy and half-educated. At best, I suppose this to be a paid piece from ignorant losers.

We should not rush to judgement on this until the items are thoroughly check and confirmed to belong to the state govt.

For instance, assuming that you left 500k meant for family project brought to you by your brother after close of work yesterday and before this morning, you got sacked. Won't you go and get your cash and other personal effects from the office?
Did Ihedioha know this? His behavior after assuming office alone could make God to turn against him. He was too vengeful and bent on executing a southeast agenda which foisted him on Imo state excluding votes from a whooping 388 polling units just to ensure Imo state is taken over by PDP.
PoliticsRe: Sowore Release ; I Fear NNAMDI KANU From Today. by JusticeSeeker: 7:29am On Dec 26, 2019
Believe him sheepishly at your peril.
banom:
So many of us woke up to the surprise Xmas Eve release of Sowore and dansuki .
But those who listened to NNAMDI KANU's radio Biafra broadcast on Saturday 21st december, (3 days before Sowore was released) which he broadcasted from America, will be shocked not just on Sowore's release, but NNAMDI KANU's insider knowledge and connection to international power brockers.

While trying to explain the unworkability of Nigerian as a nation and the hopelessnes of believing in one Nigeria, sighting Afghanistan and the recent America-afghan war as a case study, KANU said " I'm saying this because Sowore will soon be reased, we have done a lot of works on his behalf, and soon they will release him. They will have no other option than to release him. It doesn't matter what DSS does. And I advice him to leave one Nigeria and fight for his people" .

Just three days after his broadcast, and uncanny prediction, surprise surprise, Sowore was unconditionally released by DSS. This goes not only to show that KANU knows more than the Nigerian government, but also has contacts and connection of foreign powers that be.

I fear and believe whatever he says.

You are very vindictive. Some of the so-called 'lies' you listed above are facts. Is it because Sowore amplified them that you want him crucified because he exposed your 'mentor'? For Sowore to attack a leader he helped install simply means he's patriotic. He thought Buhari will not be what he is today, he was following because of his body language before he took over the office. Now that his actions are different from what he said before taking over, Sowore has to nose-dive, what is wrong about this?

Some of the acts are perpetrated by the Jukuns themselves just like in the case of the Rev. Father that was assassinated in error by the Jukuns(his own brothers) thinking he was a Tiv man. They're are equally fond of blocking the federal highway to isolate and slaughter their victims whenever they've a misunderstanding with another tribe. I sincerely pray God to end this crisis.

He didn't include Justice Odili, but he included himself! You people must think you're dealing with kids here!

The tradition should have been followed, and then APC/Buhari can the apply for Justice Odili to recuse herself! That's how it should be done for fairness!
PoliticsRe: See List Of Supreme Court Judges Handpicked By CJN So Buhari Can Win by JusticeSeeker: 3:26pm On Oct 30, 2019
So you wanted him to include Mary Odili and Ngwuta? Using PDP's model of justices recusal demand, APC would have demanded Mary Odili's recusal, CJN knew this and decided to take a safer path. Even Mary Odili will not accept to be on this panel. Ngwuta's inclusion would've been questionable because of what we both know too well.

PoliticsRe: Supreme Court: Timi Frank Rejects 'Handpicked' Justices For Atiku's Case by JusticeSeeker: 9:48pm On Oct 28, 2019
All PDP wants is the inclusion of Justice Mary Odili. However, it'll be easy to handle Mary Odili at the end of the day using PDP's developed model - Petition the Supreme Court for Mary Odili's recusal, because of her ties with Peter Odili, a PDP chieftain in Rivers state.
NaijaCelebrity:
A political activist and former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Comrade Timi Frank, has made public the proposed names of eight Justices allegedly 'handpicked' to hear the appeal of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Frank said the eight Justices about to be named were handpicked by the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), hence their rejection.

The names made public by Frank include: Hon.Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, Hon. Justice Bode Rhodes -Vivour, Hon.Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, Hon. Justice Amiru Sanusi, Hon. Justice John Inyang Okoro. Hon. Justice Ejembi Eko, Hon. Justice Taboo and Hon. Justice M. Abaji.

In a statement made available to newsmen, Frank raised an alarm that those selected to handle the Supreme Court case were not based on the order of seniority.

"I have a privilege information to the effect that the under listed names have been handpicked by the CJN in connivance with the presidency to do the bidding of the presidency and APC.

"The singular motive behind these names which is against the known norm of picking names according to seniority which is a tradition the law profession takes very seriously, is to endorse the court of Appeal judgment.

"By this statement, let it be known that concerned citizens outrightly rejects the list and any pre conceived outcome.

"One wonders why the list is coming out at this time when it is just few days to the hearing of the appeal. It is clear to all well meaning Nigerians that it is for the sole aim of boxing the opposition to a corner where they will have no option than to accept the list."

The Bayelsa born activist called on Nigerians to be vigilant, adding that the time was a difficult one for the country.

IPOB doing what they know to do best- Propaganda.
Penaldo:
Presidential Election Petition Appeal:

The Burning Issues before the Supreme Court of Nigeria

Lying on Oath:

1. President Muhammadu Buhari deposed to an affidavit in 2014, and presented same to INEC in 2019, wherein he claimed that he attended Middle School, Katsina from 1953 to 1956.

The records of the National Archive in Kaduna shows that, Middle School was abolished in Northern Nigeria in 1953, so President Muhammadu Buhari lied in that affidavit.

2. In that same affidavit, President Buhari claimed that he obtained his primary school certificate in 1952.

This is also a lie. Primary school certificates were only issued upon completion of Middle School from 1948 to 1952 and not before.

3. President Buhari also claimed that he attended Elementary School Daura and Mai Aduaa between 1948 and 1952. However, those schools were not even in existence either in Katsina or in the entire Northern Nigeria between 1948 and 1952. How then could President Buhari have attended a non-existent school?

4. In that affidavit, President Buhari also swore on oath that he attended Katsina Provincial College between 1956 and 1961. It is also on record that Katsina Provincial College was neither built, founded nor even in existence between 1956 and 1961.

5. The President also claimed that he attended the United States War College in 1980 and obtained a Master's Degree.

This is also a lie. The U.S. War College has since debunked this and affirms that it only awarded diploma courses in the 80s. The college only started its Master’s program in the year 2000, long after President Buhari had left.

6. In conclusion, President Muhammadu Buhari who could present the certificates of the schools he mentioned above, swore in his affidavits that the credentials were "currently with the Secretary, Military Board” a statement he has failed repeatedly to prove at the court of appeal during the trial of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

Perjury:

In view of the foregoing, President Buhari has committed an offense punishable by 14 years’ imprisonment.

Section 117 of the Criminal Code reads thus:

”Any person who, in any judicial proceeding, or for the purpose of instituting any judicial proceeding, knowingly gives false testimony touching any matter which is material to any question then depending in that proceeding, or intended to be raised in that proceeding, is guilty of an offence, which is called perjury.

It is immaterial whether the testimony is given on oath or under any other sanction authorised by law.

The forms and ceremonies used in administering the oath or in otherwise binding the person giving the testimony to speak the truth are immaterial, if he assents to the forms and ceremonies actually used.

It is immaterial whether the false testimony is given orally or in writing. It is immaterial whether the court or tribunal is properly constituted, or is held in the proper place, or not, if it actually acts as a court or tribunal in the proceeding in which the testimony is given.

It is immaterial whether the person who gives the testimony is a competent witness or not, or whether the testimony is admissible in the proceeding or not.”

And Section 118 of the Criminal Code reads thus:

”Any person who commits perjury is liable to imprisonment for fourteen (14) years.

If the offender commits the offence in order to procure the conviction of another person for an offence punishable with death or with imprisonment for life, he is liable to imprisonment for life”

These are facts before the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Based on the above, President Buhari is not qualified as a Candidate of any political Party in an election and he cannot be credited with any votes whatsoever.

PoliticsRe: Nigeriens Groan As Nigeria's Border Closure Hits Hard by JusticeSeeker: 2:58pm On Oct 24, 2019
GOZIEM2463:
Along with Benin, Niger, which shares a 1,500-kilometre (900-mile) border with Nigeria, has been badly hit by the closure of Nigeria’s border.

A long line of lorries from Niger and elsewhere in West Africa is stranded at Dan Issa. Some are full, some laden with goods. The drivers and their assistants sleep on the ground or in the cabins of their vehicles.

All along the 30 kilometre road between the border and the city of Maradi, customs officials and police officers sip tea or coffee and chat.

Groups of young people at a loose end and motorbike taxi drivers short of customers play cards under the shade of the trees.

Three and a half million people live in and around Maradi. Concern and indignation are growing among the people there, most of whom survive on agriculture and trade.

That makes them highly dependent on their southern neighbour Nigeria, the biggest economy in west Africa with its oil riches and 190 million people.

“Maradi is suffocating,” said Ali, a kabou-kabou driver, the local motorbike taxi. “The city is usually bustling with people — now it’s almost dead.”

“We are very angry,” said Ahmadou Amadou, who imports motorbikes for a living. “The business sector is wasting away.” If the border closure continues, then they will be ruined, he added.

I don't know why Nigeria is finding it difficult to allow these hate filled humans that are destructive to any society that hosts them to have their republic of five states. Xenophobia in South Africa is because of them. In my local place, they're the ones responsible for the distribution of hard drugs and fake products. EducationRe: Computer Science And Computer Engineering: What Are The Differences? by JusticeSeeker: 8:24am On Oct 07, 2019
Boy, many Nigerians and laymen world over just like you don't know the difference between these two noble professions as I can decipher from the various comments above. Now listen, the primary goal of a computer scientist is to develop or validate Computing models (mathematical designs that can be coded or programmed). They also describe the properties of computer-based systems (processors, programs, computers interacting with people, computers interacting with other computers, etc.) with the primary objective of unleashing products designed to yield useful benefits in terms of speed, miniaturization, affordable, and problem-solving, etc.).

While the Computer Engineer is trained to take on tasks involving software development(coding or programming to implement the model(s) designed by the computer scientist) and firmware(software that control the brains of many computerised devices) for embedded microcontrollers, designing VLSI chips, designing analog sensors, designing mixed signal circuit boards, and designing operating systems. Computer engineers are also suited for robotics research, which relies heavily on using digital systems to control and monitor electrical systems like motors, communications, and sensors. The Computer Scientist develops computing theories and designs models that are computable (He may know how to write software or not, but he will be all right if he can design or twerk models to be productive) while the engineers comes in to see how he can implement the specifications of the computer scientist and on which machine and what component of the machine can do the implementation.
