A CRY FOR HELP AS SOLDIERS INVADE AND KILL THE PEOPLE OF SHANGEV TIEV WITH AIR SUPPORT.

It all started this morning, when Nigerian military attacked the people of Bonta in Shangev Tiev, Konshisha local government area of Benue State using aircraft.

According to eye witnesses,, they have never seen such a shocking experience. Their was massive shooting by a moving AIRCRAFT,. Everyone started shouting, shaking, running in opposite directions.

The aircraft flew as low as 5-10mtrs above the roof level with a wicked soldier man who was shooting randomly and emptied a lot of magazines in motion.

This unexpected, attack made everyone to run out of the villages and look for a secured place to lay low.

There are actually reports of deaths lots of bullets wounds,, the shock from the unexpected attack and the loud sound and vibration from the aircraft,,.

THIS IS WHY..

There has been lingering communal clashes between the people of Shangev Tiev and the Igede community in Okpute.

There was a rumour recently, that, some army personels with sophisticated weapons meant to be used against the Shangev Tiev people as imported by the army general from Igede along military officers was attacked by the Shangev Tiev youths on their way to their place of assignment. The youths who had already got the information about the development (unconfirmed rumour though).
And now, the military have come to avenge the attack on their members (still from the report).

THE QUESTIONS ARE.

Even if there were reports of attack on the military personnel by anyone, shouldn't it be investigated with the aim of fishing out the perpetrators of the attacks??

Secondly, the bloody attack from our military personnel using some sophisticated weapons and fighter aircraft on an unarmed people or community that has no standing issues with either government or security forces, should be condemned by all..

Even if a particular community had done any wrong,, why bring a punishment on the whole people, even beyond the said community??
Because, the Mbashen, in Mbayegh, in Yiav, is not just a distant far from Mbator, but a different district and extraction of Yiav from Diiv. So, why will the military go as far as ransacking other communities far from where there is a crisis??

People have been killed,,
with valuable properties destroyed,,

Why kill them like they are terrorists??
Why use an aircraft that would've been used in Sambisa forest on armless and harmless people of Shangev Tiev

The Buhari’s administration which came into power in 2015 has been criticized by the United States as being corrupt and looting Nigeria with impunity.

This was contained in the United State’s 2020 annual report on human rights. In the report, the United States says the manifestation of corruption under President Muhammadu Buhari is widespread and pervasive.

According to a reliable source, the report accused President Buhari of failing to take relevant action towards reducing or eliminating the widespread looting in his administration.

It also said that the president, vice president and Governors have continued to enjoy the immunity clause which excuses or protects them from being persecuted for looting.

Part of the report says that although the law provides strict punishments for corrupt government officials, Buhari has failed to implement those laws in his government.

THE CATHOLIC LAITY COUNCIL OF NIGERIA (CLCN), ILORIN SPEAKS ON HIJAB




We have watched with kin interest the much noise, propaganda and untrue stories making the headlines in some of the dailies and other news media that the Christian Community in Ilorin have accepted the government decision to allow the use of hijab in grant-aided Christian mission schools.

Those are handiworks of the Moslem fanatics in Ilorin who overtly supported by the state government led by Mallam Abdulraman AbdulRasaq, the Executive Governor of Kwara State as evident in some of the publications credited to the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the state governor, Rafiu Ajakaiye.

In short, we considered such blatant lie as an insult, which is malicious and unacceptable to the entire Christian community in the state. Poignantly, we the Catholic Laity Council of Nigeria (CLCN), Ilorin Diocese reject and condemn in its entirety the use of hijab in our mission schools.

It should be noted that the schools under reference are our heritage and we shall do everything legally possible and within our reach to protect it.

These said schools do not belong to the government; therefore, government or any religious organization will (and can) not dictate to us the mode of dressing or whatsoever that should be obtainable in our schools.
We join our voices with that of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), kwara state chapter and advise the State Government thus:

1. To harken to the voice of reasoning and adhere to the rule of law.

2. To check citizens to desist from making inflammatory statements that are divisive and inimical to the harmonious coexistence of the people in our renowned peaceful state, Kwara.

3. To reverse the decision on the use of hijab in our mission schools.

4. To return the mission schools back to the original owners forthwith and without further delay.

5. To provide the said document purportedly signed by the then Military Governor of Kwara State, Col. David Bamgboye of blessed memory for the “outright take-over of mission schools” in the year 1974. By government tradition, there should be a gazette for such a vital and historic action.

6. To caution the rampaging and blood letting Moslem youths and some unguided fanatics among them to henceforth stop the molestation of the Christians and the destruction of properties. Because the issues at stake is between the State government and the Christians not with the Moslems.

We enjoin the government of Kwara State to toe the path of peace and promote mutual co-existence of the people of the State.

Once again, we want to clearly and pointedly reiterate our position that we the Catholic Laity Council of Nigeria Ilorin, strongly oppose and reject the use of hijab in our mission schools.

The death of Mrs Aondozungwe is one that might not see or get justice at the end if the Governor Dr. Samuel Ortom does not wade into it because too many powerful actors have been mentioned including a Retired Military Officer who has been terrorising the village with his boys, DPO of Buruku LG, DSS, The Traditional Rulers and the immediate past Commissioner of Police Benue Command.

A family member has told me that, petitions were written by the late woman while alive but each time she goes to find out further about it, she would rather be detained n
because of the connect the retired military man has with the DPO of Buruku and the then commissioner of police.

The woman was shot and burnt alive in her humble abode by boys suspected to be loyal to the retired general and all these are because of business interest in the village that done by her late husband's siblings and the said widow was not even interested in it save for her late husband's step brothers who were locked up, beaten and abandoned at the state CID.

She went there to seek for their bail and that was the beginning of her issue with the retired general who sought to know who the hell she was and vowed to deal with her for bailing people he locked up.

I am using this opportunity to call on my Governor, to please use his good office to call this said man to order because the village has been deserted for fear of more lives that might be lost as this issue lingers on without solution.

From a family of 4 Children, as the head Child, 2 boys and one Girl .There was frequent demand for money from my Junior ones who are yet to find their bearing.

Today Bros Anything for me, tommorow Bros am broke etc. I decided to come up with an Idea to sample their opinion on what to do about our Dads One plot which has four rooms. Each person collects the room rent. As The house Maintenance is only done by me, others just come collect money and leave.

I organised a meeting asking what should be done about the House. One Male Suggested shop should be builts and be Rented out, the other male suggested a Developer should be called upon. The girl suggested that the whole land should be sold, same land her father is Buried.

After further delibrations the other two males agreed half plot should be Sold then part of the money realised be used to develop the remaining half plot on which there father is Buried while the remaining money is shared equally among the four Children.

The Girl Finnaly stands on her Decision that the whole plot of land be sold and money should be shared and her father's grave be removed.

Bad Friends And Bad Motivations: Keeping the wrong company doesn’t only just make you pick up bad attitudes, it also makes you waste useful time and you either get no motivation at all or you end up with the wrong ones. Instead of being at the right place and at the right time, doing something productive, you are at the wrong place, receiving the wrong advices and consequently making wrong decisions.

5. Giving Up Too Quickly: Becoming successful requires tenacity, doggednes, persistence, readiness to go the extra mile to achieve your dreams and the determination to follow through on a life changing decision. This is something most poor people lack and if you have an ambition to become poor, all you need do is lack them too.

6. Procrastination And Laziness: You are either too soft, too tired or too sad to do anything right now so you prefer to push it to a later time which will ensure you forget it or end up not doing it altogether. You do not want to do small jobs, dirty jobs or anything hard. You like the easy way out in everything and when it appears tough, you postpone it and take to your heels. You also enjoy sleeping a lot, infact if sleeping was a talent, you would be the world best. Keep it up, you are almost there!

7. No Concern For Health/ Lack of Birth Control: You don’t take your health seriously, always buying drugs from hawkers, delaying treatment even when symptoms are showing vividly, eating unhygienic food etc. Finally when you fall sick, you will have no choice but to spend all your money to save yourself, penny wise pound foolish! You say children comes from God, so you keep producing them like a biscuit factory, even when your income can barely take care of 4. In your mind you feel that giving birth to more children will increase the chance of one of them becoming rich. Continue, you will eventually end up poor and miserable with plenty of mouths to feed.
