We don’t run any Ponzi scheme – Dunamis Church warns Nigerians Seun Opejobi. www.nairaland.com/attachments/10359733_paulenenche_jpeg49f78c2bfc6e4b215b8ead832c89be78 The Dunamis International Gospel Centre, on Tuesday distanced itself from an online Ponzi scheme called “Dunamis Investment Platform.” The church, under the leadership of Dr. Pastor Paul and Dr. Mrs. Becky Paul-Enenche, declared that the ministry does not operate a Ponzi scheme, stressing that such was a “scam.” This warning was contained in a statement signed by Pastor Victor Stephen, Head, Central Admin of the church on Tuesday. The statement urged Nigerians against transacting any business with such platform because its owners are fraudsters. It further warned that anyone caught in the act would be made to face the full wrath of the law. The statement reads: “Our attention has been drawn to an online Ponzi scheme known as “Dunamis Investment Platform” where individuals are asked to invest a certain amount and get back double their investment within a few hours. THIS IS A SCAM!!! “The general public is hereby notified that Dunamis International Gospel Centre does not run any Ponzi scheme either online or offline. “The platform is apparently owned by fraudsters who are out to defraud people. “Therefore, the general public is hereby warned not to transact any business with them as they are fraudsters who are out to defraud people of their hard-earned money. “Report anyone involved in such act to the nearest police station. “Finally anyone caught in this evil act will be made to face full wrath of the law. Blessings!!!” https://dailypost.ng/2019/10/08/dont-run-ponzi-scheme-dunamis-church-warns-nigerians/amp/ |

Ondo Police Speaks On Death Of Over Thirty Cows Posted by George on Mon 23rd Sep, 2019 - tori.ng The hill, according to reports, is a sacred place where the king of the community performs some rituals annually. www.nairaland.com/attachments/10278943_b6d8176653458edc8e31320701361de2_jpegbee1b40272f287f4bc4e3abf7b6c2e68 Some of the affected cows The Ondo State Police Command has described the 'sudden death' of over thirty cattle in the state as "natural disaster". The police also debunked reports making the rounds that they may have been poisoned by rural farmers. A strange thunder caused apprehension at Ijare community in Ifedore Local Government Area of the state after striking the cows to death. Some herdsmen were said to have climbed to the top of Oke-Owa hill in the community to graze their cows when lightning struck the herds to death. The hill, according to reports, is a sacred place where the king of the community performs some rituals annually. An online newspaper quoted sources in the community as saying the incident was the wrath of their gods on the herdsmen. The source quoted the sources as saying that the gods were angry because herdsmen desecrated the sacred land. The herdsmen were said to have been warned against grazing on the sacred mountain by the community’s chiefs, but that they were adamant. Reacting, High Chief Wemimo Olaniran, the Sapetu of Ijare kingdom, said the incident was not strange to the community. Olaniran said similar events had happened to people who desecrated the sacred mountain in the past. But the spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Femi Joseph, in a short text message, described the incident as a natural disaster. Source: Tori.ng |
Learn from my mistake! Fashanu wants Abraham to choose Nigeria https://sportinglife.ng/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/decision-time-tammy-450x300.jpg By Akeem Lawal Former England international, John Fashanu has advised Chelsea forward, Tammy Abraham to consider playing for Nigeria instead of England, Sportinglife.ng reports. Despite representing England at youth level and having featured for the senior team in a non-competitive game, the 21-year-old Premier League top scorer is yet to fully decide where his allegiance lies as far as his international career is concerned. While sharing his experience with the English national team with TVC News, the former Wimbledon and Aston Villa striker who was in similar position many years ago and was capped twice by England in 1989, said the Chelsea forward should learn from his mistakes. “When I got to Nigeria myself and I came three times, I realized that Nigeria football and English football are completely different. Nigerian football was taken from the Brazilians but football in England is rough, bullish and aggressive, completely different. That was many years ago. https://sportinglife.ng/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/john-fashanu.jpg Former England international John Fashanu. “I realized that I could not play the Nigerian football. I was happy that as a black Nigerian, I would be able to break into the English national team. Possibly one of the best and biggest country in the world certainly then it was wonderful. To play with Paul Gascoigne, Peter Shilton, they were legends. “So I say to Tammy, think very well. When I went to play for England I could have played 100 games for the Super Eagles. But I got to play only two games for England. Understand that if you are going to play for England, you are going to play four or five matches only because competition is stiff. https://sportinglife.ng/amp/fashanu-wants-abraham-to-choose-nigeria/ |

TRANSFER OF VOTERS Every Nigerian has the right to live in any part of the Country. An important part of Voter Registration is that an eligible person is advised to register at the centre nearest to his/her residence. This is to make it easy for the voter to access the Polling Unit (PU) and vote on Election Day. Meanwhile a person who has relocated to another place outside the unit in which he/she registered cannot vote in his/her new location unless he/she transfers his/her registration. http://www.inecnigeria.org/?inecnews=nationwide-continuous-voter-registration-exercise Let's encourage our people to go out aggressively to obtain their PVCs against 2019. I urge parents, guardians, teaches, pastors, to enlighten their members/followers on the need to make this a must. Don't be foolish, for it's your right to exercise your right. |

Benue belongs to Fulani herdsmen by right of conquest – Prof Muhammad Seun Opejobi https://dailypost.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/Prof.-Labdo-Muhammad.jpg Professor Umar Labdo Muhammad of the Faculty of Humanities, Northwest University, Kano has alleged that Benue State belongs to the Fulani by right of conquest. The University Don predicated his claim on the fact that half of Benue State is part of the Bauchi Emirate and also half of the Adamawa Emirate. In a post on his Facebook, Muhammad stressed that by extension, Benue is “part and parcel of Sokoto Caliphate” as such nobody has the right to expel Fulani from the state. Muhammad also stated that Fulani are the largest single nation in the African continent and they have “remained unbeatable throughout their history.” The post reads, “Benue State belongs to the Fulani people by right of conquest. This is because half of the state is part of the Bauchi Emirate and the other half is part of the Adamawa Emirate. Benue is therefore part and parcel of the Sokoto Caliphate. So no one has the right to expel the Fulani from Benue under any guise. “Second to the Arabs, perhaps the Fulani are the most benevolent and merciful conquerors in history. If they had applied the Nazi final solution to the natives, or if they had treated them the same way the European settlers treated Red Indians in North America or the Aborigines in Australia, the story would have been different toady. “The Fulani are the largest single nation in West Africa and, perhaps, on the whole continent and they have remained unbeatable throughout their history. “You can hate the Fulani, you can call them all sort of names, you can blackmail their spineless political leaders, you can conspire to wipe out the entire Fulani leadership in a single day, you can stage a coup and “orkarize” (excise) the core Fulani states from Nigeria, you can hate them to he’ll, but you can never beat them. “Fulani’s main problem remains their meek, spineless, incompetent leaders that have lost all sense of responsibility and abandoned their people. But this problem, thank God, is not insurmountable. “The Fulani are capable of changing their leaders: traditional, political, religious and cultural (I mean by cultural those so-called Fulani socio-cultural organizations that eat fat on the Fulani but cannot champion their cause or defend their rights). They have done this in the past and are capable of doing it again.” http://dailypost.ng/2018/01/18/benue-belongs-fulani-herdsmen-right-conquest-prof-muhammad/amp/ |
