Hey guys! Vicjustice/justwise
Have kinds noticed a trend with the ECO from all the reading I've been doing. I noticed that if someone submits a flawless application the ECO will say something like 'I do not understnd y u wud want to use 1/4 of ur salry for a 14 day trip ( like its his business) for e.g if some1s annual tale home is 2M and they wanna use N500k for the trip that wud be d only reason given for refusal.
My question now is how can one avoid this? How can u convince the Eco that u r ok with spending that amnt of money on a holiday? Cos I think its a silly reason for refusal? Or? undecided
Is not about having 2m in your account, the issue is can you account for every penny of that money? Does your salary matched your bank balance? It may look flawless to you but its not to the ECO.

The chances of a Nigerian living in Nigeria getting a hotel managerial post in the UK is close to zero.

ballabriggs: With this horrible UK weather, life can never be rosy. See, we did not get the sunshine till mid July and now is early August, it seems winter is around the corner. As far as I am concerned whoever is responsible for fixing the country has failed if he cannot fix the weather. Did I hear someone say "nothing can be done about the weather"? I don't care, just fire whoever is responsible.
Nothing wrong with the UK weather, cover up, get your heater on...deal done, can't be fixed, get used it to or move to Qatar.

Sports › Seven Cameroonian Athletes Have Absconded by justwise(op): 3:02pm On Aug 07, 2012
Seven Cameroonian athletes have absconded while in Britain for the Olympics, officials say.

The seven, including five boxers, are suspected of having decided to stay in Europe for economic reasons, Reuters news agency reports.

A reserve goalkeeper for the women's soccer team, Drusille Ngako, was the first to disappear, the agency quoted Cameroon's Olympic mission as saying.

In June, an Ethiopian torchbearer, Natnael Yemane, 15, also disappeared.

He went missing from a hotel in Nottingham.

"What began as rumour has finally turned out to be true," Team Cameroon mission head David Ojong said, in a letter sent to the Cameroonian sports ministry.

"Seven Cameroonian athletes who participated at the 2012 London Olympic Games have disappeared from the Olympic Village."

Ngako was the first to disappear while her teammates left for Coventry for their last preparatory encounter against New Zealand, he said.

Her disappearance was followed by that of swimmer Paul Ekane Edingue and five boxers eliminated from the games.

Thomas Essomba, Christian Donfack Adjoufack, Abdon Mewoli, Blaise Yepmou Mendouo and Serge Ambomo, disappeared on Sunday from the Olympic village, Mr Ojong said.

Roke93: @justwise. pls i want 2 ask if a reference letter from the bank is important in ur visa application even after you have ur bank statement.
Its important if you are using online print out of bank statement or building society bank account, but its not hugely important if your are using other standard bank statements.
Travel › Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by justwise(mod): 8:36am On Aug 07, 2012
Bolster: Justwise, I'll like to know if that 28 days requirement actually affect your current balance reducing or not. Because I've funds already counting close to 28 days but I just some cash transferred in increasing the bank balance. Does the new balance need to stay another 28 days or the old balance already getting close 28 days stands. Please note that fund increased NOT reduced. Thank you.
Sorry this is coming late, was just going though posts now and saw it, since the fund already there meets the required amount of money needed then the current transfer will not affect the 28days counting.

Dharkchild gave you the right answer.

chic2pimp: Dude no one here is doubting Federer's greatness but to suggest he let Murray win that match is outright absurd.

Federer was beaten by the far better player on that day. It's that simple. Or is that too difficult for your thick brain to handle?

Is Murray the better player? Not In a millions years. Would he ever match Fedex's list of achievements? Not in this lifetime or the next. However on that particular day he was the superior player.

Go suck on a lemon if you don't like that fact.

ROFLMBAO again @ both Djokovic and Federer let Murray win........LOOOOOOOLLLLLL grin grin grin grin grin. Things people would say grin
