Seyi Olaitan: hello,I'm new here and just want to ask the following questions:
1. I just opened a Pounds Sterling account and made a deposit of my living cost (7200)into the account. hope this new account will be accepted and do I need to print out my other statement of account-savings/current to show that I have activities on my account for Visa application?

2. Do I need to submit a medical report along with other credentials and where am I expected to get this from?

3. I enrolled for a year full time course starting September 2012, how do I get my children (less than 18yrs old) to join me later?

4. do I need to book for an accommodation before applying for the visa?

Do I really need to include my marriage certificate since I ticked married. NB: I am the one sponsoring myself and my family is not going with me to the UK. Do I need to add my marriage certificate or not?

You don't have to include that but if you do then make a note in the application form in the blank space.....that you want to point out that a mistake was made in your marriage certificate......then explain the mistake briefly. If you are called for an interview then use that opportunity to explain the mistake.

You know how our Judiciary system does make little mistakes.On my marriage certificate, as at August 2009, my age was written as "26years"( Note: It was not written as in DD/MM/YYYY format), and in that year, I was only close to 25, precisely a month away. Should I point that out also? Or leave it that way?

And, my oga, I beg your pardon, could you give me a quick written style of how to convince them with respect to the discrepancy in Bank statements name and Marriage certificate age? Many thanks Justwise.

If your passport and other documents has the correct date of birth then all you need to do is to remind the ECO that mistake were made in your marriage certificate.

However, the name appears as Micheal on my Bank statement. The discrepancy is the spelling which reads MICHAEL on WAEC and PASSPORT; MICHEAL on BANK STATEMENT. I hope this would not serve as a deterrent of my application at BHC. I would appreciate your timely answer. Thanks my people

Can't you ask the bank to change it? If you can't then point it out for the ECO in your application, don't let them notice it first.

Good luck to them, they have made the best decisions and i hope more will take the opportunity to represent any country that will cherish and treat them with respect.

Documents used to get the CAS(it was shown on the letter. I laminated them because they were a little old)
My bank statement(in my name) and bank letter(Reference letter. I was charged for this and for printing my statement so it reflected on the bank statement)
My Int passport(stained on d back with a little groundnut oil)
Filled VAF 9 and appendix 8 form
Is this alright or am I missing any thing? Pls I need ur advice. Thanks

As long as the CAS number has been entered in the form you don't need to submit the CAS letter.

Other documents are ok.

damas11111: Sure he lost to a better player "on the day". But not fully "fit" in the sense that he surely had not fully recovered from the 4.5 hours match of the previous 1.5 days. If not, he would have won one or two sets. The result was very unlike Federer. You are free to accept or not to.

Roger never reported any fitness problem prior to that match, Andy played double with Robson on Friday before playing Roger on Saturday, lets not blame fitness, he lost to a better player on that day.

damas11111: Roger was a bit jaded in yesterday match! I don't believe he "gave" the match away. That will be stupid of him to do since he really wanted it - though not very badly. What I noticed was that he was satisfied in the knowledge that he's guaranteed a medal (which has been his desire for long time) and so he wasn't ready to "kill" himself to get the gold (not a must, any medal will do). He was ready to die on the court to beat Del Potro so as to ensure he gets a medal even though Delpo threw everything he had at him. I am sure that if Roger REALLY needed to beat Murray yesterday, he could have come up with something special(Roger's moments)to do the "job" as typical of him.

Murray was really inspired, no doubt about that. But it will be foolish for anyone to think that he beat a willing and fully fit Federer.

Whether the eight times Andy beat him was in gran slam or not that matters nothing, the truth is that Andy has beaten him 8times before, every game Roger plays and wins counts as career achievement and when he loses it counts as well.

Nobody should take away Andy's achievement yesterday not even Roger. Its bad sportsmanship to belittle anybody's achievement just because you support his opponent, in fact its even an insult, Roger has being beaten by other players before, nothing new here.
