Danka7777: My family lives in Asokoro, Abuja. I am coming home soon. As with any engineering graduates in the west-US, it's reasonable to work a year or two to horn your expertise.

Yes, I work with them, that's why I know them well.
Sometimes its important to shut-up a bit, you talk a lot of garbage.

Danka7777: I wasn't trying to be immodest. I just wanted to share a little of my background for you to know who you talking with. If I and teams of engineers can design a war aircraft and drones to fly and bomb its target, it tells you that I would never speak of anything I have no evidence or facts on. So trust me, whatever I say on here is based on solid research and facts. I expected you to say: let me go and do my research and will get back to you. Had you said that I would had shown respect to yousmiley
This is getting interesting, so you actually design the drones used by the west to kill innocent people? Why are you working with the enemies to produce dangerous weapons to kill innocent people?
Politics › Re: Why Is South Africa More Developed And Stable Than Nigeria?? by justwise(m): 12:30am On May 28, 2012
Danka7777: I am stuck in the 70s? When I am only 27 and works for Lockheed Martin- research the company, and have about 500 people (whites, for your information) under my supervision. Graduated at the top of my class at Princeton. So I couldn't be stuck. I am damn sure of what I am talking about. Only on here to help people like you who are lost and have no idea who they are or who their forfathers were.
Hahaha, let me agree with fear that you work for that company for a moment, now this is my question. . . why are you working for an American company? The same people you are blaming for all the problems in Africa, the evil ones.

You actually studied in the west and decided to remain there after your graduation, why did you not study in Africa and work in Africa?
Politics › Re: Why Is South Africa More Developed And Stable Than Nigeria?? by justwise(m): 12:14am On May 28, 2012
Danka7777: I am trying my best to understand what you are writing. Most of your writings/sentences can't covey simple thought. Are you a Nigerian? What were you doing when your mates where taking English writing class?
You are stuck in the 70s, get yourself updated.
Politics › Re: Why Is South Africa More Developed And Stable Than Nigeria?? by justwise(m): 12:04am On May 28, 2012
Danka7777: "if not for the west, Nigeria and Africa would have been heaven on earth" I inserted a comma after the "west" to help convey your sentence properly. This is the most outrageous comment I have heard in my life. How could you say such? How old are you?

Don't you have confidence in yourself as a black person? Are you aware of the inventions of our forbearers? Have you not heard about Ancient African civilizations; civilizations built when whites were clearly nonexistent? You need a thorough education on history to help ward you off of this CAN'T-DO BECAUSE I AM NOT WHITE MENTALITY THAT SOME BLACK HAVE TODAY.
Danka7777 you are really educated, so you actually understood that line of my post you highlighted? Did you?
Politics › Re: Why Is South Africa More Developed And Stable Than Nigeria?? by justwise(m): 11:56pm On May 27, 2012
Danka7777: If you were educated and someone asked these reasonable questions, all you ought to do is to answer them but if you couldn't; obviously in this case you can't but only red herring, you should keep your mouth shut! These are questions, many South Africans, old and young, are asking day by day. This is my last comment to you, go and research and study deeply on South Africa before you speak around very educated people!
So as an 'educated' person this is it? If this is how 'educated' people think then i'm quiet happy to remain an illiterate, i can't see the difference.
Politics › Re: Why Is South Africa More Developed And Stable Than Nigeria?? by justwise(m): 11:49pm On May 27, 2012
Danka7777: I feel sorry for you, accept my tremendous sympathy. So you don't think that condoms cannot be tampered with, even though it isn't foolproof? You need re-education!
Yes all the condom we use are made by the west, they tampered with all the condoms being shift to Africa, they are responsible for all our reckless sexual activities. We are not responsible for our actions, if not for the west Nigeria and Africa would have been heaven on earth.
Politics › Re: Why Is South Africa More Developed And Stable Than Nigeria?? by justwise(m): 11:33pm On May 27, 2012
Danka7777: It would be difficult for people of your type to grasp what I am talking about. I don't have to make myself clearer. Remember, I once used to think like you, such as: It is impossible for whites to be doing this. Have you asked yourself, why the blacks in South Africa are faring awful compared to their fellow whites counterparts? Have you asked yourself why the blacks in South Africa are more infected with Aids than their white counterparts? Were their forbearers not having sex without condom and still had no Aids? Where did the aids come from? What was the purpose of inventing it? Why is it that it is only killing off the blacks? I would advise you to thinking critically and draw judgement as a rational, sane person. People like you are agents provocateur that whites have indoctrinated to think that everything wrong of black people was ordain by God. Get out of my sight!

The first thing you should do for the sake of humanity is to check yourself into mental health clinic ASAP, you are not well, and one more thing, condom reduces the chances of contacting HIV, ok? And pass the message to President Zuma as well.

all4naija: That's always the problem with some myopic Nigerians. They always want to blame their weaknesses and failures on the progress of others. If they know that so well that they want to destabilize Nigeria because of the micro progress in poverty then why no curtail it before it happens? Some barbaric lazy Nigerians are often fond of that while ignoring the ineptitude to develop the country is the failure of our leaders to build an organized society.
I just can't understand the mentality of some of these people blaming the west for almost everything that has gone wrong in Nigeria and Africa, who are they kidding? Don't we know who steals from us?

Politicians steals with impunity we blame the west, boko haram killed thousands of Christains and Muslims we blame the west. We never done anything wrong, the west controls us. You know what? I like the west, they are powerful, they can make us do just anything and dare not question them.

I want them back, we are better of with them as our leaders then our current African leaders who are just toothless. dogs.
Politics › Re: Why Is South Africa More Developed And Stable Than Nigeria?? by justwise(m): 10:46pm On May 27, 2012
Danka7777: Are you not aware of the white presence in South Africa? Let me tell you how the world operates in terms of development. Wherever you find white people, there is a great deal of development. This isn't by accident but by design to keep the whites at the pedestal of socioeconomic status. In other words, the global leaders (whites) don't interfare or try to undermine the development in any place occupied by whites. Now to the contrary, the developing or undeveloped countries, though mostly black nations, ask yourself, why is it that whenever we have had a leader who meant well and wants to implement massive development and economic indepedence in their countries, they are either murdered or seen as a socialist and forced, disgraced out of power? Dr. Kwame Nhrumah, Gaddafi, Gbagbo, Patrice Lomumba, Abacha(you can disagree with me on Abacha; many of us shudder when we hear the name Abacha, yes I used to shudder too, but at the end of the day when you look at the economic stats and indexes under Sani Abacha, it was the best Nigeria has had. Don't believe me, go and do your research. e.t.c. Don't reply me saying that Abacha stole billions, I have heard that a lot and once thought in that line until I began to read a great deal about him and why he was killed. The spine of my comment is: The people who control this world don't want to see countries of blacks or colored people develop. Libya was on the path of development and economic Independence under Gaddafi, what was the result, they took him out and today Libya is in a mess; total anarchy and the people can barely eat. There is fighting every day between libyans and their imposed leaders/rebels. The mainstream media will never show you this!

Nigeria is one of the thriving economies in the world, these people I mentioned above that control the world, are now working assiduously to destabilize it and have us start from scratch again. Boko Haram is not a muslim thing, it is a weapon of destabilization with members of Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa extract, sponsored by these people I spoke of above, to realize the destabilization of Nigeria. Nigerians think!
Why are we like this? The 'white' are sponsoring BH to destabilise Nigeria? This is the type of rubbish that stops us from dealing with the real issue, when we keep blaming the wrong people for our problem we die chasing shadows.

dee84: Hi, I have a dilemma and I hope you can advise me.

I have overstayed in the uk for a year. I was under a student visa. I met a man for over a year fell in love and we decided to get married. We are planning to go to my country in Asia and get married there. My worry is when I apply for a visa to come back to the uk with my husband, will that be affected as I have overstayed in the uk.

Please advise me on the matter. I am worried and just want to get this straighten out. Thank you!
The punishment for overstaying for up to a yr is a yr ban if you went back to your country without the British Govt paying for your return ticket but getting married to a British passport/paper holder means that you will not be punished for that, though you must not withhold any info during the visa application.

laserboy: @ Justwise; I have never paid any tax from my company earnings, yes i have 2 other people employed apart from my wife but they work on commisions. I plan to spend 400k for the trip(5 days accommodation, flight, feeding and miscelns).
I only pay tax on my salary that is deducted from source. Gross salary is 72k, Net is 67k. Thanks.
That means you can't use your business account or mention that you run a business in your application. Owning a business would have given you a stronger chance of getting a visa because its a strong Tie-to-Nigeria.

Now as a married man with a child earning 67k.a month with 600K in the bank, the ECO will see it as unwise to spend 400k on a trip to the UK in just under 5days, how long will it take you to save that much in Nigeria and of what benefit is the trip to you.. . . if this is a business trip then it makes a lot of sense to spend that much knowing fully well that you stand a chance of recovering that money plus profit.

I don't think you stand a great chance of getting a visa. . . this is just my personal opinion, i could be wrong surely.

Bayo Adex: Pls i need an advice as im about making a great decision in my life.
Im a young man of 26 yrs, a graduate, unmarried and presently workin in a sustainable family biz in ibadan. I earn btw 2m-2.5m yearly.
However, lately i have been having a sense of discontentment as i move to adult level in life. I want to live in another city (cos i ve lived in ib all my life). I have decided america is best place for me as i already have a sis who is a citizen there. She has advised that i will need to go back to school and study medical related discipline for 4-5 years so my future will be guaranteed in america...and also during dat period to look for a lady dat can make my papers (green card).
plsease nairalander i need ur help. Wat is your take on this?? Is it wise or i shld jejely stay here?? Pls those abroad too pls i will appreciate ur contributions. Thanks thanks thanks.
Your sister is being very naive, your future will not be guaranteed because you studied in America or have a green card.

With the amount you make now yearly you stand a better chance in Nigeria than in America, going to America to study will cost you nothing less than $20,000, getting a lady to marry you for green card is a massive gamble that can go horribly wrong, and if it does, you will be deported, lost all the money invested then back to square one in Nigeria.

If you have the money to study in America and that is your goal then go for it with open mind, its a costly life investment but the return is not always instant.

shooqueen: I went to the police station with all the info and I have had a call back form them they are putting me in touch with the fingerprint department who hopefully is able to help. I have also taken advice from 3 solicitors who specialise in immigration law. This fingerprint mix up is not as uncommon as I first thought but it does rule out a stright forward appeal as we have been advised to instruct a barrister and it will take around 7 months to be heard after the application data has been inputted. I spoke to the justice department on 24.05.12 and they were only just inputting data from 20.04.12. I am not waiting to be with my husband for another 8 months so I'm going to exercise my rights to work in another EU country (Spain) and my husband can then apply to join me with a family permit. One solicitor said this would only take a few days. Does anyone know how the process works or how long it will really take, any information would be great?

We will also carry on with the appeal as we want his fingerprints sorted out
At least you are getting some sort of answers, yes appeal takes ages and very frustrating waiting time.

Visit the Spanish embassy website for info about family permit.

Good luck.

I will be sponsoring the trip with N320,000 and my sister will be sponsoring with N150,000,Total of N470,000 for my trip. Below are the supporting documents I intend to submit.
1.Invitation letter from my sister
2.Copy of my sister's biometric card
3.Copy of my sister's passport bio data page
4.My sister's statement of account
4.Hotel reservation of my stay (14days)
5.A letter from the University stating graduation ceremony details

11.my most recent pay slips
12.A letter from my agency's co-operative society confirming my saving
13.My co-operative society member's pass book (proof of my saving)
14.Pictures of my sister and I

I was refused a Visiting visa not family visit in 2010, reason was because of my personal and economic circumstances as at the time i applied. since then i have travelled to Dubai and Ghana and my economic circumstance has improved.
What other documents does anyone think i can add to make my application stronger and more convicing? and will my co-operative society member's pass book be enough proof of my saving with my agency's co-operative society?? pls help a sister.
is ur sister a foreign student or she has a stay?

For serious sex-offences like this its life on sex-offenders register.

queensmith: I don't know about this, from what I heard the system is incredibly tough on sexual crimes. Especially pedophilia. And the fact he was a teacher and abused his position isn't going to look good in court at all.

Apparently you can get a shorter sentence for murdering someone than you will raping them.
He can get as little as 3yrs then serve a yr and the half then finish the remaining on tag with his family. He will be made to sign sex-offenders register for life, that is just about it.

If he pleas guilty at the early hearing and without previous criminal record then he will be free in a yr or two. UK justice system is a joke.
When he comes out he will still be claiming benefits and live a normal life without working for a day.

lagcity: so you are even talking abt teaching career or getting another job. this guy most likely won't make it out of prison. if his fellow inmates find out his crime, they'll phock him up. anyway i don't know abt british prisons, but in yankee u r toast if fellow inmates know you molested lil children.
British justice system is too soft, he probably will not get more than 5yrs for that crime and he will be protected in prison, if attacked he will sue the prison authority for not protecting him.
