Many people like me feel insulted when i read such line from people, who told you that we don't know who is stealing from us? Who told you that we don't know who will rather siphon our money to foreign bank accounts than building roads, hospital, constant power supple, schools, paying lecturers a decent wage and maintain security?

Its silly and completely nonsense to blame the West for problems in Africa, we Africans are killing ourselves, stealing from ourselves, taking money to vote in corrupt, wicked leaders into power.

Mugabe is an evil man, the West did not ruin Zimbabwean economy infact the economy was at its best when the white farmers were there, they made Zimbabwean economy one of the strongest in Africa until Mugabe started his political land-reform program.

Zimbabwe enjoyed steady power supply, good medical treatment, very good education, subsidised fuel supply until year 1999 or so when the madness started. From late 2002 Zimbabwe started rationing power supply, queue for petrol becomes endless, no mealie-meal, prices went up like rocket because the white farmers have been driven out and black Zimbabweans are not known for their industrial farming skills and Mugabe got no plan B apart from blaming the West.

The west is NOT our problem, some African leaders if not all are far too corrupt, wicked and only care about their private bank accounts.

l was once issued a germany schegen visa but on arriving germany i was refused entity because the immigration officer felt i did not opposes a confirmed hotel booking despite showing all neccessary paper my visa was canceled but l know my visa was actually denial due to my nationality as a Nigerian first time traveler and i was denial entry and put on the next plane back home with my return ticket but on returning home l wrote a protect letter to the boarder guard headquarter condemning this racial act against me and a few week later l got a reply from the boarder guard commander that the case was invesgiated that l was actually deemed fit to enter germany because i have possessed all the neccessary requirment and the boarder guard investigating team contacted the hotel during the course of investigation and the hotel confirmed that l was actually booked PAID in the hotel for the duration of my stay in germany so the decision to denial me entry was revoked based on the invesitigation
l contacted the Germany embassy with the letter from the boarder guard headquarter and l was issued a new visa so l travel to germany the following week and l was allowed entry and after spending a few days ,l return home without any problem and i have been issued an Italy schengen visa recently and l visited to Rome and also return to Nigeria after my visit .. but the former visa still showing canceled on my old passport because it was crossed with a blue pen ,i want to be careful when filling the uk application form becaue an error could lead to automatic ban of 10 year ...what should l do ....does my case mean a yes or no

You have nothing to worry about, you were denied entry wrongly and you complained and was re-issued a visa, just explain that in your application form, that should be enough.

Piyke: Thank you very much @justwise. Let me ask u a bit further... I'm actually in uk at the moment and will be there till the end of the year, my wife plans putting in this application for our baby as we're planning a holiday in July (she already has a visa)

I know that my passport will be required for this application but the site has discouraged sending down my passport for this and they also say they don't accept photocopies. My wife has my original birth certificate(was born before 1983) though. will this suffice? whats ur take on this?

I should add that i've been calling the phone of deputy HC in lagos but the operator never picks up. it just keeps ringing and ringing

You have to travel back to Nigeria and submit your passport and that of your wife will be needed as well, there is no two ways about it. They are approaching busy time, so you will be lucky if the passport comes out within a month.

If you were banned for 10yrs as a result of fraud/forgery/fake document. . .etc then that is it, you can't get those documents back, it will be on your file for that 10yrs.

Apply for spouse visa, you can do that a month or two after the marriage.

I waited for my baby to come during my own time to make things easy for me dats why i advised you to wait so that you can add a copy of your baby birth certificate and send along with your forms to KCC ,you will also fill forms for the baby too.
As for KCC limited visas,dont let that affect you all. Nigeria has never exhausted its quota before since DV lottery started in the 90s.The highest recorded so far was in 2011 set and it remained about 400 for it to get exhausted then. If you are sending the forms before the baby comes, i would advise you fill the forms correctly and also attach a written note to KCC telling the about your baby coming.
