quest55: Thnks. But none of my worries were addressed on those websites and a responsible institute (charging 150k) could engage an intelligent web planner and have a decent website. Would it not be more beneficial to spend that amount of money on a foreign recognized body and get employed and much later join the party of CFIN? Also, who is DCFA? I have to agree with you, those websites doesn't look anything decent and i wouldn't pay N150k to an organisation like that. Agencies like EFCC ,SSS or NIA should have a dedicated Forensic department where they will have the licence to use tools like ENCASE, FTK and other commercial Forensic tools. |

MegaMan87: Totally disagree. I'm Yoruba and most Nigerians in the U.K are Yoruba. It makes me feel good to have my people around me when I'm not in Nigeria. I enjoy London. The weather can be horrible at times but knowing there are so many of us out here I never really fell alone. I can't speak for everybody but London is definitely the place I will live when I'm away from home. I was out in the states for a bit but I was disheartened by the amount of igbo akata out there. I didn't really feel they were Nigerian so I don't enjoy my time around them. U.k is the place to be for Nigerians in my opinion.# London is quite expensive but did you really expect any different? Common jo, stop complaining and work for what you want and need.
Free Healtcare says it all. I think people need to stop being ungreatful and be thankful for where they are at. There are people back home that are much worse off. I can't believe we still have pple like you with 1908 mentality in 21st century . |

coogar: forensics in nigeria? you make me laugh. what are they going to do with it when there's no database for pictures, fingerprints or dna.
nigeria's torture chambers in the police stations are our forensics. it works effectively. by the time a criminal is dealt with, he would confess what he did not do. fingerprints or dna sample matching na long thing. Not medical forensics, we are talking about computer forensics or digital forensics. Dealing with ur PCs, mobile phones, USBs, SD memory cards and other devices. |

quest55: Forensics is a very respectable profession. Is there any organization providing Forensic education in Nigeria? I hear that the remuneration is very good and they have government recognition. Does any one know about a scholl offering forensic training. I saw an advert where I was asked to pay about 200,000 for a 1 week training! I'm interested to know as well, i have being searching for any professional organisation in Nigerian that deals with Forensic computing but failed to find one, i have written EFCC but they did not reply. |

Vicjustice: You would be required to produce tax documents, a company that does not pay Tax is definitely lacking the least credibility and therefore is ineligible for embassy recognition. You can not invite a person into the country in the name of a company that is committing financial crimes. Thank You!!!! |

Podonasmit: Your second highlighted section does not depict any hypocritical persuasion. First the section is a persuasive sentences used to appeal to consciences not to migrate out of Nigeria. If you go to the top of this thread you will see where i said i was in Nigeria for 8 months. What do you think i will be looking for in Nigeria for that long if not for resettling down. That i am in the process of resettling down and still making some reasonable preparations towards achieving that does not emphasize hypocrisy. My initial thread where you copy the bold sentences from does not explain that and i did not say measure put in place to achieve what my goals are.
It will only be hypocrisy if i stick my butt here and am not making plans to go, but encouraging others to leave. That is creating sense of double standard. Like i said earlier i am firmly standing by what i said, that home is home and i can not but be home sooner than i can imagine. I'm sorry there nothing you have written here now that persuaded me to change my opinion about you. You can't start a thread like this https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-766362.0.html and depended it while living abroad. |

chivic123: I quite understand your point, but the truth was that fred painted naptip in bad light. He made people to believe they were demanding for bribe and they also showed proof that they started suspecting him when they visited the address he supplied and he wasnt living there. on the high court, typists are all outside there and they will type for you and take it in for you for signing. Out of such money, they will make like 100 and pay in the rest as the required amount to the officer of oath or as the case maybe. That the system that as being on for God knows how long. Let me now also explain more on risk2get point. Some typists are hanging around naptip and doing the typing for those that wish and they will now ask if you want them to take it to high court for you or you will take it yourself. If someone is lazy enough,he will opt for first one and he will be billed higher like in the case of risk2get. if you opt for the latter, they will only type for you and ask you to take it down to someone specifically at the high court to do the signin and stamping. NAPTIP did not do their job, why did they allow the scam to go on for more than 8months without any arrest? How come they allowed Fred to run away? Their hands are not clean. The typists can not hang around NAPTIP office premises without their knowledge, those typists paid them some sort of commission to be able to hang around their to do their business. |

chivic123: Thank God someone finally spoke. Nairalanders let us learn to put sentiment aside and judge objectively. Someone that misjudge today doesnt mean he cant judge right tomorrow. I simply want us not to see every move from other entities who are not in support of our view at any point in time as BAD ELEMENT,RUBBISH, CRAZY or whatever. Mr justwise, what your comment on this one, remember i told you that you missed it this time on this naptip issue. I wont insult you like you used to do, i will just advice you to please let always get confirm the authencity of issues before you start supporting such.Kudos to CANIMSERV and IMPERIOUXX, they are honourable men or women as the case maybe. Mr risk2get, try and learn to be yourself and stop imitating. Mr Hinlaw, prepare to get rain of insult from some quaters On the question you asked my justwise, at the high court, we have a lot of typists so some will charge u and you bargain it down, thats why some paid 250,350 and above, but not naptip. I rest my case. Why should i believe Hinlaw and not Risk2get? Going by the role NAPTIP played through out CS scam saga they can not be trusted, they may decide to collect money from whoever they want just for the sake of collecting pp. So the typist can charge whatever they want? In Nigerian high court? Then you seriously want anybody to believe that this is not the second phase of the scam? I rather believe Risk2get |
