Yes, school fees have all been paid in advance. I f he is deported, we will have lost/wasted over £6000 in course fees. He doesnt have any maintenance fees to pay as he lives with us so his accomodation and food are supplied by us. He has no costs for this.

We had to submit the appeal form within the required 10 working days and obviously could not submit anything than the basic appeal reasons. It will inevitably take sometime to prepare a full case. Is there any procedures for the exchange of evidence to be submitted between the parties before the hearing? For example, we have a very good letter ( unsolicited ) from the spouse of one of the residents at his nursing home which at least in part explains the circumstances as to why my brother came to work more hours. Is this presentable at the hearing? Do the other side need to see this beforehand?

Hello again, do you have any knowledge of the procedures for this court hearing? what is the system for evidence? who is likely to be there from the UKBA? My husband has prepared and done relatively informal tax tribunals but otherwise has no detailed knowledge of immigration law and the procedures that will be used for this hearing.
Please, do you have knowledge on how this appeal is conducted? Do you have any knowledge regarding: 1. The discretion under the immigration rules which could have been exercised differently. 2. Re article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights and wether it could be applied here?
Sorry for all the questions but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for your reply. My brother went home for holiday, when he got back immigration officer discovered that he have been working more than ten hours and cancelled his visa. His record as student is excellent, both attendance and performance.

Gooday justwise and ever1 in the house pls I need advise regarding my uk admission. I am about making my application through ucas for uk admission. And I contacted some of the universities to ask if they need ielts for admission. But more than 5 universities replyed me and told me that they don't need ielts for admission that the can accept waec result with at least a grade c6 in english language. And I have a grade c5 in my waec in english language.
What I would like to know is that if I get admission to this university without ielts can the embassy issue me a visa. I hope I won't have problem getting my visa. I would love to hear your opinions so that I would proceed to the next step.

Hello everyone,
can you please give me advise. my brother's visa was cancelled, which was supposed to expire nov 2012, because an immigration officer found out that he has been working an average of 30 hours/week. ( he is a student and is only allowed to work max of 10 hours). we submitted our appeall and still waiting for their reply. can you please tell me whats best to do and do we still have a chance to win?

I think the title is a bit misleading - after going through all the post, it doesnt sound like this is a clear cut scam scenario.

He may be using means that are not technically legal or profiting from loopholes but it appears the clients are aware and are willing to take the risk of facing a life of hardship when they scale through. What may be in question now is why Suxes is allowing them such a risk and the exorbitant charges.

Justwise, u doing a good job but i am afraid you may have been heavy handed on this one.

The UK is planning on axing automatic indefinite leave to Remain for legal residents who stay 5 years. As the rule stands now, those that stay legally in the UK for five years can apply for indefinite leave to remain and after one year on that, apply for British Citizenship. It seems the coalition government is considering stopping that.

For those planning on migrating to the UK, it may be worth considering this proposed change before making that decision

I doubt that these people are irresponsible. Both of them lost their spouses over 10 years ago. Then they find themselves and not someone who is not appropriate. They were also being discrete. I applaud them. You don't see people that have that sort of respect for themselves these days. The kids are probably embarassed thinking what people will say. they are thinking about themselves not their parents happiness. Meanwhile their parents did not deny them their own happiness.
