No i didnt change any information about myself. My hubby's case is another issue, he used a passport with a wrong date of birth and he also filled that date of birth on the form in 2004. Though, i'm the only one applying now, i dont know if putting his real date of birth in the column for spouse's information will be a prob to my application now. This issue has prevented from applying to the UK but i just wanna summon up courage.

Thanks. I cant even remember why i was rejected, though i applied for 2yrs instead of 6mths. What do i do about the lost passport? I cant remember anything about it. Are you saying that i should state that i have applied before and cant find the other passport? What is your advice regarding this.

I need an advice from the house. I applied for UK visa in 2004 but was refused. However, the problem  is that i misplaced the passport and i cant remember the passport number either. I am planning to apply for visiting visa now and i'm kind of confused on what to do.[b] Someone told me that i should write in the application that i've not applied before, [/b]he aslo said that their records is based on those who applied after the thumb printing started. How true is this.

Hello all, pls pls and pls I need urgent advice my case is different I applied for my student visa on the 18th of august and on the 19th my school withdrew my cas number because they could not cash the cheque posted to them, they asked I make another payment so they could issue me a new cas number I ve made the payment and they ve received it and issued me a new cas number. The problem is I am scared that wen the embassy checks the other cas number online they wud c it and refuse me, I sent an email to the embassy in Abuja explaining the situation and I also forwarded the new cas number to them this morning, i don't know if they wud check their email on time and c it and still consider my application, my school resumes on the 5th of September and I'm running out of time, someone advised I go to Abuja and try to sort bit out but I don't know i can help or change anything by going to abuja as I reside in Lagos.the postgraduate admission officer also sent the embassy an email on my behalf using the general email address for enquiry and complaints.

I have decided to wait till january, but i will be transfering the money to my account before i re-apply, i dont think i have seen anybody that has been given a student visa using this route, i submitted in abuja, i was going to the visa office everyday after my refusal for 3 weeks, though i was staying close by, out of curiosity i was asking students especially the ones that used legal guardian stuff, for those that i saw thier application they were all denied,and the same reason - No evidience of relationship-, at this point dont be too ambitious, make your resarch properly, there is a huge difference between a legal guardian and a guardian, even when you go to the court and even ask lawyers they get these definations twisted, the money i even spent consulting lawyers was more that my submission fee, so finance and time was never a problem,i only opted for this route because my cousin who is a senior public office holder, had well over 20 million in his account and had good refrence too, so i have decided to transfer the money to my account and wait.

[b]i think this option of using a legal guardian is too vague, and i think its given them a leeway to deny students visa, [/b]its better to wait and plan well or make proper research.

i dont time to waste here but i promise you that anybody making these passports will face the consequences soon. all you people think about is money and let me tell you that we have now contacted the immigration. for guineans for example, they will need to show a special card with the consulate stamp on it plus the passport. any one with guinean passport who does not have that card will face the consequences. the malians here are starting the same soon. we will see who wins in the end. lots of nigerians have been arrested with guinea passports and been taken away from them. we have contacted the cambodian border, we have just contacted the immigration here too. we are working hard on this.
