@Redman44, thanks for spitting out the bitter truth here, I wonder where people got their false stories about Continental Europe from. the UK is the worst country for immigrants in europe. some people come here and tell huge lies that will continue to deceive Nigerians at home. 90% of Nigerians that have settled in France, Germany or Holland are far better than the ones in the UK. I was deceived as well until I lived there for 4 good years, I left Germany with my wife and kids and we moved to the UK. I´ve 3 brothers and a sister in the UK, with family houses in London & Glasgow respectively so nobody can tell me anthing new about the UK. First of all, the british are 10 times more racist than the french,germans or dutch. buzugee wasn´t served in a bar in Dusseldorf?? the tradefair capital of the world? "strange" France? who treats black people like poo in France? black people, (even african immigrants with resident permits) are in parliament, they are black mayors of big towns/cities, black entreprenuers etc. You get resident permits automatically when you marry a citizen,study or have a child, unlike the UK where they don´t give you jack! They´re the worst racists & it is the only country where I´ve been called the N word several times this is a country full of gangs,buglars & rapists!! a thug country, a broken society where you can´t even sleep with closed eyes anymore. I couldn´t even leave my wife alone at home when I went to Nigeria cos she was treatened a few times. Racism is extreme in the UK & they hate Nigerians to the bone! I think some people just always to claim they´re better in the UK meanwhile their lives would have been better here on the Continent. I run my own company, employ white people, I own my own home (better than the council flats in the UK) I drive benz cars and I go to powerful gatherings. I go to naija ANYTIME I want & I travel all over the world. This countries are not like Russia or the terrible Northern Ireland PLEASE!!

The only money you might pay if there is need for that is if your e-passport has not been use to travel before to any abroad country, than you have to pay us to get your E-passport stamp with U.S or Canada or what ever country you want to travel to.

In Nigeria it takes less time to get e-passport, but a place like the UK it takes longer time, there are many Nigerians in the UK and only one embassy.
These dubious agents promising to do it in a day ARE PART of the problem, they bribe immigration officers to get it done quickly while pple who are not ready to bribe have to wait a longer time while the officials make their money through the backdoor.

I weak for this announcement ooo, how Côme we find it difficult to obtain thé E-passport legally from thé embassies and some ppl out they CAN issue it in just a day without stress? Corruption Will never end in Nigeria!

Its not that difficult to get the e-passport in Nigeria embassy in London, i got mine in less than 3wks, i'm not sure about other embassies.

Yes there are some corrupt officials and pple like the poster is feeding those corrupt officials.

i have got the lard copy of the visa letter and receipt to via post yesterday.
i am waiting for my school id card to be ready so as to include it in the application.
i intend to submit the following
visa formvisa letter from school
original payment receipt personal bank statement with over £8000 (self sponsor)
observed the 28 days ritual letter from school (nigerian uni)
school id card and docket justwise and the entire house, please am i missing out anything
NB: I am applying for a student visa on a short course 6 months and not a full tier 4 student visa

For courses below degree level yes TOEFL is needed.

You should tick the box and submit the online print out, as long as it has all the info needed for verification if the BHC wants to do that.
If u can't remember ur Ref number u can still apply but remember to tick 'yes' where they asked if u have been refused visa b4 and give reason(s) why u were refused.

Hi Justwise, thanks for your reply. I was refused based on insufficient maintainance fee last year. I was pressed for time as I was late for resumption and so my funds were not in my account for the 28 days before I printed my Accounts Statement and applied for the visa. The University is rated Highly Trusted.
I don't think using an Agent means u aint ready to study in the UK. I for one am obviously 'over-ready' but I'm asking because I need to know if this could increase the rate of success significantly.

What i meant by not ready to study in the UK is that student visa application is much easier to handle compared to the course work u will face in the UK.
The 1st refusal will not affect ur chances this time around, just put ur documents together and go for it.

Hi everyone, Ive been followed this thread for close to a year now and I learnt a lot here as regards my application last year though my visa was denied then. I am planning to re-apply this year(As I deferred the admission then after paying part of d tuition fees) but I have a couple of grey areas that I'll need clarifications on please;1. Will the refusal on my passport not affect my application this year
2. What are the real implications and difference of the new Tier 4 migrant guidelines as against what existed before
3. When is the best time for me to start applying and, 4. Do i stand a far better chance if I go through an Agency and which is the most recommended on this forum.Guys, I'll appreciate all the help you can offer. Cheers

1. It depend on the reason why u were refused at the first place.
2. If u are going to study in the university rated higly trusted then the changes will not have any implication to ur application.
3. July is not a bad time to start
4. If u can't do it urself then u are not really ready to study in the UK
