Thank you, what if the husband has the 16,000 Pounds savings now, does he still need to go back to the uk and wait for 6 months before applying for her?

Good day to all the gurus in the house, I have a question to ask and I’ll appreciate if someone can shed more light, thank you.

My sister’s husband is a British citizen, they both live and work in Nigeria at the moment but the husband is planning to relocate back to the UK, He wants to take his wife along but all they’ve seen online is he must have a savings of 65,000 Pounds in his account which he obviously doesn’t have such.

Please is there any other way of going about this? He also owns a house in the UK, thanks.
The husband needs to move to the UK first to get a job that pays at least £18,600 gross or have savings of £16000

Kindly advise the correct visa. Definitely not a spouse visa because I do not live there or is it possible to apply for this?
There is nothing wrong with your wife visiting the UK, the problem could be lack of convincing documents.

Can you list documents you people submitted for the latest application? How much does she earn? Did the sister send any document to support her application?

Hello house, I applid for UK tier 4 visa in Jan 2018 but was denied based on credibility test, I didn't do enough research abt the school. I actually did priority visa then. Now I want to apply again using the super priority visa.
I want to ask if there would be a credibility test if I used the super priority visa?

You are likely to be called for an interview but what is hard about reading about school, course and city you are going to invest at least 15millon on within a year?

Greetings my fellow travellers, Solicitors,Advisers,Helpers and wonderful people on here.

From my previous post up there after 3 years of my continous struggles to make this dream come true am seriously back and ready for this quest to leave this country. cry cry

Having denied my self so much I saved up 800k after 4 years working in Nigeria as a Pharmacy Assistant.(Pharmacology graduate)

I am 28yrs still determined on my studies dream despite my previous poor grade due to circumstances I narrated in my previous post, Having searched I was able to see schools that were able to accept me on 2 year Graduate entry Nursing program due to my previous clinical experience for June/July 2020 studies.

Am soliciting for help whether by Adoption, By payment in years time, Let my dreams come true having a 3rd class degree by circumstances due to wickedness from a so called lecturer wouldn't stop me from reaching my goals and dreams. cry cry

Ps: I have the 800k cash with me.
@Justwise
I really hope you don't fail into a wrong hand the way you are going.

What you are looking for is not possible, nobody will adopt an adult or give you millions to disappear abroad.

If you are serious about traveling abroad through education then scholarship is the way out, spend your time searching for scholarships..e.g commonwealth scholarship etc.

is it acceptable?
I doubt considering the processes involved and the need for criminal record.

If any of your relative can visit CID branch to find out the process for those living outside Nigeria.

Years ago the process i described to you was what i did.

one of my relative sent me the form by mail today .. I’m going to print it out and fill them also thumbprint in the appropriate place .. I intend sending it by post to him in Nigeria .. when he receive it he can then contact them in Lagos to help me get the certificate.. I don’t know if that will work
This sound more of a straight forward way than what i was made to do years ago. Give it a go.

Good morning everyone, we please I need advice on this.

What kind of visa can my wife apply for from Nigeria to enter the UK. She has applied 4 times for a short visit visa and has been rejected due to very silly reasons. I am a Nigerian with a UK citizenship living and working in Nigeria which complicates matters since I cannot submit any application. Even the few letters and bank statements I submit are never referenced in the rejection; they base it solely on her personal circumstances.
Is she traveling for a visit or what?

Please house I need urgent help .. I’m presently in the uk.. please how can I get police criminal check report for Nigeria urgently
Its a long process..though i don't know if it has changed now but firstly you need to get a letter from Nigerian embassy London, take that letter to police station within your town/county to do fingerprint then send the result to your relative in Nigeria, the individual will take it to CID to get you criminal record

Is fixed deposit not allowed?
Because on their site fixed deposits are allowed if you can provide the certificate of deposit..
What do you think?
I thought on verification they meant the bank didn't reply to them via email or calls...so I met with the bank and I was told they weren't contacted by the UK home office...and they agreed they would support me by writing a letter showing that they weren't contacted while going further to write on the genuineness of my fixed deposits and the other bank statement to go along with my administrative review
I also have a case of miscalculation in that my bursary of £1500 from the school was no taken in to consideration as written in my CAS Thus an inflated fee.
I'm sure your attachment is from the official UK immigration website.

This is from the official govt website:

The evidence of money that you use must be one of the following:

• cash funds in the bank (this includes savings accounts and current
accounts even when notice must be given);
• a loan letter (the loan must be provided by your national
government, state or regional government, or by a government
sponsored student loan company or be part of an academic, or
educational loans scheme);
• official financial or government sponsorship available to you

God bless you ooo. Exactly what my Sister who is married with kids and runs a business abroad plus my brother who is also married with kids and works in US both say. They usually tell people this same thing whenever they ask them when they're coming home. They be like, which home? When they already have their lives established abroad and living comfortably they should come to one yeye home? They can only come to Naija for visiting now, they have their lives built abroad already...

Although, I quiet understand what the Op is tryna say. If we put our house (Naija) in order, our people wouldn't have to go outside to look for opportunities... When a parent fails to provide food for their kids, thats when the kids go to neighbours house to get food.
Even at that Nigerians will still travel..there are Americans in the UK, Canadians overstaying in US etc

Travel › Re: Opinion: U.S. Immigrant Visa Restriction On Nigeria by justwise(mod): 10:57am On Feb 01, 2020
Kkshanana90:
It’s no longer news that the United States has imposed restrictions on the issuance of immigrants visa on Nigerian passport holders, together with a few other countries. The implication of this is while you can visit the U.S. for temporary stay, you can no longer obtain visas that can lead to permanent residence until the issues that led to the restriction in the first place are addressed.

Whilst some persons may consider this an unfortunate development, I believe a lot of Nigerians including myself, think this is a great opportunity to have a rethink and go back to the drawing board. It’s not always about Trump. He has every right to implement policies that he thinks will be beneficial to his country!

An important question at this point is ‘which Nigerians migrate’? Excluding the extremely poor, poorly educated and the vulnerable who migrate, perhaps for ‘better economic opportunities’; the average Nigerian migrants via the legal channel are the rich or at least the comfortable, well-educated whom the receiving countries would consider a great addition to their economies. This partly applies to those who join family members overseas. This, perhaps, explains why Nigeria has the most educated immigrant population in the United States.

The forgoing is a reminder that whether you are a rich, comfortable, poor, educated, or non-educated Nigerian, the only place you can call home is ‘Nigeria’. Nigeria is rich and big enough for all Nigerians. Unless you have family overseas, your only business abroad should be for temporary stay. Personally, I don’t see much difference between living in some places in Abuja or Lagos and living abroad.
That is not entirely true, home is anywhere you are safe and happy whether Nigeria or abroad. Nigeria is only home by default.

That is not entirely true but then again it depends on what you called 'cheap', what model of iphone and what do you want it for? Personal use or resale?

Iphones would never be cheap, your profit margins would be a so little or non existent, that you would sharply reconsider your newly founded business venture........

Even stolen Iphones too, are not any cheaper.... Because the person selling it to you, hopes you're taking it abroad.....

If it's ícloud locked, which most Iphones are...... Have you heard how much they charge to remove lock (if it's possible)?

If phone is successfully tracked, the buyer is coming for you or your agent........

By this time, the person you bought the phone from, is long gone.............. smiley smiley
I don't think so, if you have the time to spend online especially on eBay you will get a good deal. Rule number 1...don't buy from businesses selling on eBay, buy from individual sellers.

2. Look out for items on offer, buy now/bid. You can get a pretty good deal when you make an offer before the bidding start.

3. Avoid bidding for an item hours even minutes before the bid ends else you will end up pushing the price up.

Nigerians are corrupt, I've also had to pay for this on some fronts. But we are not alone, and we are not the worst.

Unfortunately they were unable to verify your bank statement, you should have moved that fixed deposit to a regular account before making the application.
