Is that fine? He really really has to explain why his boss wants to spend that much into his personal life and his boss has to write in to support his application too. The money should not come from the company's account though |

Cextreme: Hello all. Good work here. Justwise and others.
I'm wondering if one can use two sponsors for a visiting visa.
One is a UK citizen with a balance of £3000 but a 2 weeks statement of account. The other sponsor is a Nigerian with over 10m as balance.
Is it okay to combine? The reason for combination is because the one with the 2weeks statement is my uncle and being a UK citizen will boost the chances. I guess?
Please help me o Is the Nigerian sponsor related to the applicant? |

I have bsc in geophysics 2.1 and want to further in geophysics or geoscience in uk but the school fees are just too high to pay in one year 20- 30k£. so I came across university of South Wales in offering 'msc advance applied field geoscience' at glyntaff campus for 14k£. (resealable)
Honestly my target is tier 2 visa after the psw so I want to hv a degree of profession on the shortage list. 1.my question now is this university a good university as regards the product of their graduate value and certificate value? 2.what's the position of accommodation and students jobs in glyntaff? 3. is Wales a good place to study cos I hv not seen anyone going there. 3.what other university to achieve my aim can be subjected.
Thanks in advance I don't know much about that University but regarding ranking .. it ranked 113-114 in the UK. Use this link to checkout other universities https://www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/league-tables/rankings |

whytho: Has anyone gone through the process of replacing a lost Nigerian passport in the UK?
I am British with dual nationality and I need to replace my Nigerian passport that I lost
On picture attachment 1, number xii. states that if I meet the listed requirements, I should ‘Click Here’, which takes me to this website:
https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/
Once I get to this website, under the ‘passport’ header I select ‘Apply for reissue of lost/stolen or damaged passport’ and this takes me to an online application form. My issue is that the application form reads as though it is meant for people applying from NIGERIA and not the UK
For example, in picture attachment number 2, the only option to choose for ‘processing country’ is Nigeria. Also, when I went further down the application process and it was time to pay, it was going to charge me in Naira
I don’t want to pay and then realise I have paid for the wrong application. Maybe it is just me but I am not finding their website that clear, I know I am supposed to bring the stuff listed in picture attachment 1 from numbers i. to xii.
But from numbers xiii. to xv. which application am I supposed to submit to get these documents?
Any help would be very appreciated, I am very desperate. Thank you

Ope4Christ: You have asked so many questions but based on the rules of Nairaland, I may not be able to answer them in other for me not to be banned. It is against the rules and I always like to obey rules.
Accept my apology.
Thanks for your prayers. I am only doing this for my Nigerian people so that you will not fall victim of bad agents who are only interested in your money and not your comfort. Some Nigerians are suffering here because of LACK OF APPROPRIATE INFORMATION before coming. But if you have the right information, you will enjoy UAE to the fullest.
Indians, Pakistans, Lebanese, Philippinoes, etc are here helping themselves and enjoying the country. Why should Nigerians be suffering? So many reasons. But I am here to give you the right information that I know to assist you.
Here at your humble service. Which of his questions will lead to a ban? And which rule is against answering question regarding to cost of traveling to Dubai? |

afroman23: Hello everyone,
Nairaland has helped me in the past while trying to get a UK student visa for myself, so I'm here for an advise concerning my brother who wants to come to the UK with a visiting visa to attend my wedding.
Here is the background of the whole situation.
My brother first applied for UK visiting visa in 2008 to visit our mother (who is a British Citizen) and he was refused even though he was studying at the time in Nigeria.
He applied again for UK visiting visa in 2012, and he was again refused stating reasons for the refusal was because he does not have any ties back in Nigeria but then he was doing his Youth Service.
In 2017, our mother thought it was best for him to come for his Masters in the UK. Unfortunately, he was again refused on grounds that he was not a genuine student. We challenged the UKVI's decision via a Judicial Review through a dodgy Nigerian lawyer and the appeal was refused.
So back to my main reason for coming to this great forum. My wedding will be in April 2020 and I will like my brother to be at my wedding in the UK. I will also be providing my wedding invite to him for his application.
He had started working in November 2019 and by the time he will be applying he would have only spent 5 Months in his present employment. Either my mum or myself will be sending him an invitation letter and accommodation will not be a problem for him likewise financial sustainability.
So I just want an advise from the good people in this forum what are my brother's chances of getting a visiting visa if he put in an application around 2nd of April 2020.
Can someone please advice me on this.
@justwise He needs to apply this month or early March What is his take home income from the job? |

At least be compassionate and make little suggestions.

Mind you, am not against your opinion. I only hate with passion the way you passed it on. At least don't nake it look like you are killing his dreams. Be more contributive!

passymobile: so what should be my budget cos I am really tired of this system, vocational trade schools included You need to narrow down your search to a country first before you know what it will cost you to study there. I must tell you though if you are not passionate about education but just want to leave Nigeria by all means then I suggest you think twice before wasting your money on visa application and school fees. It cost a lot to study in a developed country with good education and economy, so if you travel as a student but failed to engage then you will regret spending a lot for nothing |

dederocs: They are managing, most people running abroad via immigrants visa come from desperate background, and could not escape the poverty/salary trap here. It's no fun to be doing menial jobs at 40/50 no matter the country you are in, you are still living at the bottom of the food chain. You are so uninformed, sadly there are a lot of people like you here. |
