cindylee: @Justwise. Hope you are doing good.
Please I just submitted my application but due to an oversight did not submit my marriage certificate. I have sent them and email through their paid service. I just want to know if this has happened to anybody before and how it was treated from your experience. Please how can get this document to them. I paid for priority service and applied just this friday. Thanks Wait for their reply, they will probably going to ask you to submit it through visa centre or email to the embassy. I know many have experienced this before but can't remember clearly how they resolved it. The good thing is that you spotted it on time. |

naijapips04: The message was 'past' across. That's all that matters.
Liberals are so bitter. Trump's first year in office has overseen the strongest American Economy in recent history.
The stock market is at an all time high, gaining over $3 trillion since he took office.
Unemployment is at its lowest among blacks, women.
People are getting pay rises because of the biggest Tax cuts in American history.
Trump has more women in government than all democratic president including Obama and Clinton.
ISIS has been diminished.
North Korea is now mellow and are ready to talk.
Democrats loathe this accomplishments so much that to slow him down, they have to invent a government shutdown because of something not related to the Budget bill in contention.
Democrats are putting illegal immigrants over US citizens because of votes.
President DONALD J Trump is making America and the world great again and he will be doing so for the next 7years.
Happy Anniversary DT! ..because he needs something to grab |

NOETHNICITY: I am definitely not one of those who attach extra ordinary attachment to money. wud be a consolidated millionaire if I did.
But, what will make a man remain in a country where he gets the 3rd class citizens treatment, if he could come home and live comfortably without the treat of getting undermined in anyway by anybody.
Imagine what US is currently doing to pple, notwithstanding they ve lived all their lives over there. Recently, a Latino was deported back to his country after living in the USA for more than 30yrs. Who in Nigeria treats you as a first class citizen? The Govt? The police? Fulani herdsmen? Security agencies? Please tell me where you get such treatment. The Latino man you mentioned was in US illegally and was unable to regularize his immigration status hence his deportation. |

Godsonkemz: Britain is a hell of a country. Living is hard as everything is being monetized. You got to pay for everything. And once your study visa expires if it was studying that brought you, you'd be bundle back home. You can't just own more than two cars without specifying a convincing means of income. There's nothing like tax evasion because it's a serious crime, no even think am. That country no get chill. What do you get for free in Nigeria? |
Travel › Re: Why Nigerians Living In London Are Returning Home by justwise(mod): 5:00pm On Jan 20, 2018 |
redsun: I am not lying.People live in abject poverty in the UK, especially among blacks and other ethnic minority that are traditionally poor. Many children go with just one meal a day in London, that is if they are lucky to get hand out from food banks that millions depend on to get by. Cramped up in some cold, damp and dingy high priced bedsit or two bedroom flat in Peckham, Brixton, Plaistow or elephant and castle.
Africa is the next big thing, whether good or bad at the moment, and a person with determination and vision can change the lives of not just himself, but for millions. And it is high time we began to feel ashamed as a people that can't independently hold a society together in the 21st century, irrespective of what we choose to blame for our predicaments. I don't have a single friend who lives in poverty or struggling to have something to eat. When you leave Nigeria to any country with the wrong paper you will struggle to survive. When you leave above your income you will struggle. When you are lazy to work even with the right paper you will struggle. If you don't have strong source of income why having too many kids or renting an expensive accommodation? |

redsun: Nigeria needs cleansing with a bit of common srnse. It needs people that can do things fie the sake of posterity and sustainability, not looting and plundering. Uk is broke and not particularly good for minorities at he the moment. Africans living in oyinbo land are like the prodigal child in the bible, that ran away from the wealth and opulence of his father for the crumbs and whips of the master.
We all know how dangerous and inconvenient it is to live in that country at the moment, but sometimes living dangerously to achive a lasting is better than living sheepishly in denial. Stop lying. |

What an amazing job you are doing it’s commendable.
I have just been offered admission to do my MBA by Lancaster and I am preparing for my trip in October.
What I will like to know is if I can take my husband with me aswell for the MBA as a dependent. He has a full time job here in Nigeria with no intention of quitting but the idea is for him to be able to come frequently to visit me.
Please I will appreciate your response. Tnx If your hubby is not planning to live with you in the UK then dependent visa is not the idea visa to apply for, he can apply for visiting visa anytime he wishes to comes around to visit you |

suntai: Hello Justwise, long time and well done with the knowledge you’re constantly dishing out. God will continue to reward your selflessness. I have a quick question, I submitted my daughter’s passport she’s 10 for 6 months Visa renewal this is her 5th renewal (family application) but realized later that her own passport expires in May 2018, ours is 2020. It completely skipped my mind cos I did the submissions in a hurry as I was traveling the next day to my duty station. I’m now quite agitated cos of the minimum six month rule......secondly we have a US visa renewal scheduled for February do I go ahead and renew her passport once we get it back from UKVI Thanks JW. I'm not sure that will be a big deal, i think it will be overlooked but for US visa you need to renew it before putting in an application. |

MaBuk: Thank you @justwise, now I want to ask that the whole trip for a family of 4 (husband, wife, 2 children age- 5 & 3) might cost 2.5Million, how much can you advise that should be in company account & personal account. This is the wrong time to move money into those account just to make up the travel cost, he should run those account the same way he has being running it without lodging money into any of it. Make a budget of the trip so as to know how much it will cost and don't estimate the cost. |

In the new online application, if you state that you have a relative in the UK, you have to fill the name and passport number in the slot provided. Ok you can do that but make it clear that you will not visiting her this time around |

MaBuk: @Justwise, @FrontPageLawyer and other gurus in the house.
I need your help!!!!
I have been to the UK once but was denied after the first travel based on financial reasons. Now i work with an income of 240 per month but me and my hubby and our 2 children want to travel in the next 6 month. We want to build our statement. My hubby have a company, registered but does not pay tax and he has not been using the bank account cos its a one man business. Now he wants to build the statement of account as well and will be paying salary from the company salary to his personal savings. The challenge is he wont be able to pay tax right now and i think he is suppose to go submit is tax id/certificate among the document.
What can you advise, should he submit company details, document without tax id, will ECO still know if he pays tax or not. As it stands that is all he can do since he doesn't have any tax paper, whether will be given a visa or not nobody can authoritatively say that, the ECO will make that decision. The issue of paying himself a salary makes no sense as a one man business owner, all he needs to do is to transfer his profit from this business account to personal one monthly depending on how much profit he makes. During the visa application he has to submit both accounts but the cost of the trip will come from his personal account and not the business one |

MamaGiovanni: @Justwise , @Ekpotek Pls help me out here.
In my previous posts I stated that I'll be going for a professional exam in Manchester UK. I've booked a cheap hotel close to the exam venue. However in the online application, we were asked to state our family members in the UK (immediate family and spouse's immediate family)
my husband has a sister in the UK on a spousal visa (husband is a British citizen)
I won't be visiting her as she lives far from the exam city.
Do I need to submit any documentation about her? Or should I just fill her name and passport number as requested in the online application. Just write her name and state that you will not be visiting her, there is no need for her passport number if not asked. |

tojahh: This shouldn't be your worry, if this is a diary I think you should rather help in sanitizing the pages against derail and diversion (because these were what brought about the World Cup advertisement in the first place). People made him divert by asking to visit for the world cup and how much it will cost and other irrelevant notes here. He went ahead explaining till someone suggest he be a tour guide to him and his group. Who wouldn't jump at that opportunity to make a few bucks? Even when he apologized and reconciled with your message, people still setting him up with nonsensical quiz. The last time I opened a thread about the suffering and inhuman behavior that greeted me on my way to Europe via Road, and to advise people not to try it even before this Libya slave thing, it hasn't reached the 3rd page yet I had already received more than 21 mentions and a trailer load of questions on best route and what to expect and how much it would cost even to how I brushed my teeth while journeying. I had to close the thread immediately.
So look at it from another angle. The op has apologized and look forward to helping us enjoy the diary, don't let *derailers* kill the joy of a good read.
Shalom sir/Ma Its funny when people say stuff like this without knowing how much i try each time i visit this thread trying to keep it clean. The op contributed to the derailment and i can't keep wasting my time hiding posts. See my attachment for an idea how many posts i have removed from here alone
