I paid over 2000 dollars and the the documents were those required for spousal visa.... his utility bill etc pictures of us, tuberculosis test, appendix 2 etc

Now I understand what the problem is, did your lawyer email or call ukba to make the changes and pay for NHS health charge?

Hi guys please I need your urgent and immediate help and advice.

I applied for my spousal visa last 2 weeks (Priority) and my spouse a British Citizen living in the UK has submitted the supporting documents, however, I just came across this topic and saw where a poster wrote he had applied for settlement - marriage and had to change it to settlement - husband.

I called my hubby and told him and he said he was sure it was settlement - marriage only for him to call his lawyer who told him it was settlement - wife.

I am a bit worried now but the lawyer advised I wouldn’t be rejected on this basis that we should write a letter to them stating the error and asking them to provide the link for the health tests or so...

Their application plat form is so confusing, Settlement marriage, settlementwife, Settlement husband, civil partnership etc damn!

Anyone had this experience?

How much was your visa application and what document(s) did you and your husband submitted?

Info about hospitals in Chicago and other cities in US is not difficult to find online with a simple search, they usually have more than one phone number and also contact-us form you can easily complete and submit.

Pasting any link here for you will be going against the forum rule.

Do a proper search with laptop, tablet or desktop for a better result.

I gave him my details, he paid for the application and forwarded the receipt to me while I transferred the naira equivalent to the gtbank he provided. I was so happy, ignorant of the fact that I was sitting on a gunpowder.
As God would have it, I was considered for admission on the 11th of October with the necessary documents for visa application sent to me.
Just yesterday 20th Oct , I got a mail from the school stating that my admission has been revoked, reason being that I paid for my application with a fraudulent card and that I can't be considered for admission into the school again.
In the most practical terms, I'm very weak right now. Although I've responded to the school yesterday, with the screenshots of my chats with the devil(igeoluwatobi) and also the payment receipt of the naira equivalent to his gtb account.
I'm still very weak as I don't know how this event would turn out considering the fact that fraudulent activities in Canada is heavily frowned upon.
Have anyone experienced this, and how do I go around this issue.
All suggestions would be welcome.

Oga justwise, by family of five he meant two parents and three kids not five kids as you implied. Most likely such a person will be on welfare aka child benefit, let's assume he is not paying mortgage then what of rent? He might pay from 400 to 600 pounds per month depending on how he wants to live his life. In all, it's not a good thing to earn such per year while living in UK. This is the reason some people living in there cannot invite friends and family over because they are already a liability to the country so it has stripped them of their legal rights to host any possible visitors

You made a lot of false assumptions here, if the family of 5 are on welfare then they will be living in council house, housing association accommodation or private rented which the government will pick up the cost.

Again like I said before..nobody working full time earns as little as £11.500 a year, people coming to the UK on work visa like the op earns far more than that for a start.

You can still invite friends or families and nobody strips you that right because you don't earn enough. Inviting people does not mean that you will be paying their flight ticket or hotel accommodation.

You are taking the appropriate steps so far and you also need to contact his bank with these evidences so that the bank will either block his account and his BVN will also be linked to this fraud.

I really hope that the school will see through this and realize that you are the victim and not the perpetrator.

I really feel sorry for you, that crook was banned the moment I realised what he was doing and I have warned people here and other threads about the danger of this kind of fraud.

You did the right thing by sending the school his details and chat evidence.

One more thing you need to do now is to post his bank details and real name here so as to expose him more and safe more people from failing victim.

I will add it to the list of scammers in nairaland so that online search will pick that up.
