feranmi84: Justwise and inphoenix, thanks for your time and contributions. Just opted to crop where the ECO stressed in the acc statement. I've attached another picture for you to have a clearer view. Thank you! You have more outgoing that incoming in your account so without another source of income your final bank balance will be questionable. A different ECO will treat your application if you reapplied, so its likely to be another issue. inconsistency in your bank statement will always raise an eye brow so its important that you sort that out. If you believed that the ECO made a mistake and that you did not deposit huge amount in your account then reapply and point that out else think carefully about reapplication. |

feranmi84: Good morning house, thank you all for selfless support. Please help check this out and advc on what to do as the refusal letter says no right to appeal and administrative review.
Note: I did not make nor receive deposit/s that total sum of 410,000 in my account between 27/07/17 and 24/08/17 as claimed by the ECO.
I only received 66,523.72 and 88,992.65
Thank you. How do we know if your account was inflated when you blanked everything? Obviously looking at the statement you uploaded there are a number of irregular financial activities within that period. If that is your salary account and you don't have any other source of income then it looks suspicious. |

ijeshaoflondon: My Oga, how can i spend 7 times my monthly pay on foreign travels after reading this forum from page 1 to 340+, for an average tourist trip considering the rate of pounds , I believe 1450 pounds is not much , hotel booking, flight, and feeding , I earn 200k monthly, I have only planned to spend 2+ monthly salary on this trip . What the Eco said was that i still have 7 months my salary in my account without having other sources of income . 2 months of your salary is just 400k which is not even enough for a return ticket to UK, hotel, feeding and transport within the UK will cost you more than a month of your salary. I really don't think you want to understand why you were refused. |

ijeshaoflondon: Thanks justwise, what does the Eco mean by saying i have times 7 of my salary in my account ? i have been working with our company for 4 years +, is it a crime to have funds in my account please, what sort of refusal is this? i seems dont get it? please 200k for 12 months without spending kobo is like 2.4 million, i have just 1.4million left after all expenses without lodgments, i am really confused, he even acknowledged my payslips.... hahahaha ... i cant stop laughing...lol. this is what happens when you receive training from gurus on Nairaland and oyinbo looking for loop holes and couldnt find any. You did not understanding that refusal letter, you will be visiting the UK for just 6days and willing to spend £1,450 which is more than half a millions nairaland, that is equivalent of 7months of your salary gone just in 6days, that is what ECO's comment is referring to. You worked for 4yrs and managed to have N1,407,074(£3,435.46) and you are planning to spend almost half of that within 6days. That is the problem with your application |

nikkyshyne: Please. How safe should a Bf write a letter of invitation as host but not a sponsor. Should it be left out?
Secondly, apart from my employment. I have a registered business with CAC (a long time ago) which I still get some income from though quite erratic.
So talking about submitting CaC, is it safe to also submit the CaC document as my side business with proof it belongs to me and that I intend starting full operation in the near future? or I shld just overlook submitting the CaC. and ofcox I hv no tax on it.
A friend of mine who is self employed did not submit his tax remittance and was issued visa. he picked it up on Monday.
Thanks Forget about everything..can you afford this trip without anybody else contributing? And can you support your source of come convincingly? |

Lexusgs430: But his wife and kid now reside in the UK. He decides if it's worth fighting for, considering the time and financial implications (if only legal aid or no win would take on this case).....
Legal Aid - NO No win No Fee - NO
Would be an expensive financial fight... When you get refused a visa in a case like this, the best way of addressing the refusal or reapplying is to be brutally honest with your previous immigration record then submit all the requirements. The op entered the UK in 2005 with visiting visa and stated the date he arrived in the but immigration record shows that such information doesn't exist and within that period he has made 6 different visa applications to remain in the UK and all were refused. You can not enter the UK in 2005 through the airport without your record being in the system, getting an immigration lawyer and paying huge legal fees is not the point but addressing the pivotal reason for the refusal will help your case. |

Sholeola23: Hello house.
I have decided to reapply myself and let lawyer face the appeal process.
For the reapllying i will need help of the gurus in the house regarding laws and how-to go about it. I was refused for the following reasons.
Home office can't find when I can I entered the UK ( came with my dad at the age of 13, as a child I didn't know what sort visa I was on) my dad has died so this another obstacle for me to know what sort of visa I came in with.
Aggregating circumstances section 320(11)
Not reporting sir 2 weeks. This was due to the fact that I was advice by my old lawyer to wait till he get a response from the home office before reporting to ensure I won't be held down at the reporting centre. After they got back I resume reporting till I decided to return to Nigeria.
Frivolous application. Was due to bad advise by lawyer again after their own pocket.
This time around I want to do all my self and leave stone untouched.
Please i need you help. . Only you hold the key to solving this problem. At the age of 13 you came to the UK with a passport and visa on it, so where is the passport now? If the passport is lost then your name and DOB used in the passport should be enough to figure out how and when you came to the UK because at the airport that was captured and recorded. Yes your daddy died but your name, DOB and picture did not die with him, this could be one the reasons why Homeoffice is not buying your story. |

Lexusgs430: Personally, I would advice using legal representation. Not just any lawyer, a proper tested and trusted immigration lawyer. That will not solve his problem until they figure out how and when he entered the UK. |

tchimatic: Here it is.... buh I'm not sure if it'll be overturned. Obviously your answers to those questions are too common and practically every Nigerian gives the same answer to such question. Coming back home to take over your daddy's business is not good enough for such question. You need to explain to the ECO how that particular course will equip you with experience and knowledge needed to run a business. Now you needed to look at individual modules in that course to find out one that suits that idea or any practical part of that course, your finally project topic that could expose you to business management etc. ECO did not get that detailed answer from you. |

LagosismyHome: while i do agree totally ... however
The US has not put a law against making a switch hence I stated what the process is ..yes but it shouldn't be abused!, you switch when its absolutely necessary and not premeditated as you have advised him. We should not deliberately encourage people to use one school to get a visa and dumped after getting a visa. Lets not complain when some schools implement some tougher requirements for Nigerians |

That reduces their chances of ever getting an asylum to zero. There is no war or natural disaster going on in Nigeria so on what basis will one claim asylum? |

revlane: "Just got my consultants email stating cic has asked to resubmit my last 6 months bank statement but I don't have that much funds in the account right now".
The above was posted today by someone in one of the WhatsApp groups. Some people have been posting about loopholes and how to beat CIC with proof of funds. CIC is unpredictable and if you fall into their hands, you will be banned for some years and then your IELTS and WES plus application fees can go into the wind. Be careful what you submit, wait till you are ready, some of us have been on it since 2015. And please stop posting your fraudulent ideas on this thread. It was started by people with Integrity.
Thanks. Am still waiting for PPR sha Thanks for that section in bold, I'm actually disappointed with some individuals here who seem to turn a blind eyes when illegal activities are been disused here without reporting it. What people called a loophole here its actually a trap and very soon this abuse of 'loophole' will lead to policy change. This could lead to German system of blocked account then we will know those who truly can afford this project |
