Good day all, congratulations to all the new mothers and thanks to all those that kept this thread alive.

Please, my friend is suspecting that her host has her childs ssn, and may be using it....and she wants to report to IRS after i told her about them..... the issue now is,she is back in Nigeria.... can she report from Nigeria or she has to be in US before she reports..... please @mamao, @justwise and any other person that has info on this should please help out.

Thank you
I don't see any reason why you can't do that from Nigeria, but before you do that try and confront your host first to be absolutely sure.

Hello house.
Please in applying for a tier 2 dependant visa for my family, how long must I have lived in a family accommodation before applying for them? I currently stay in a shared accommodation in the UK and I wish to apply for them early February next year. When would it be advisable to me to move into a family accommodation? Is there even a requirement for how long I must have stayed at a family accommodation(for instance a 2bedroom apartment for a family of 4)before applying to bring them?
Thank you all for the anticipated prompt responses.
There is no time limit for that, you can move in today, get your bills running so as to use them for the visa application, I guess to get all the bills sorted and get the papers will take about a month then you can apply.

Hello Justwise,

Please if I have accepted Medicaid in the past and I went for interview and requested to come in person pls what can I do when going for the interview?
Start paying back the Medicaid, you will struggle to get a visa again if that is not settled.

@justwise

welldone guys
I just wanted to know if there is any hope in getting an undergraduate studies visa for someone with ND in chemical engineering
Your swift response would be appreciated
You need to get admission first before talking about visa, if any school gives you an admission with ND then the embassy will not refuse you a visa because of that.

hello house

please i will be applying for a tier 2 visa for myself, wifey and two children

Q1- how do i link all the applications and make sure we go for the biometrics at the same time...

i have an A rated sponsor who says i should apply for priority service...

Q2- the priority service on TLS says its for premium sponsors; is there a difference between A rated and Premium?

Q3 - how safe is this Paga platform? can i safely transfer all the amount i need to pay, close to 2M to the Paga App?

thanks

justwise Jarus and everyone
1.I have read here that one can link application but I don't know how it's done and if the system has changed. People who have done it recently please help.

2. You can use standard priority service and the information is on TLS website

3. I know very little about paga

OK thanks. Yes first time sending an employee. My boss have been the one attending trainings and the likes.
Maybe he needs to send someone in a higher position and better pay, I'm not trying to look down on people's pay here but 75k a month is less than £200, some people earn that much a week doing under table job here. People who overstay their visas and work illegally do that mainly because they earn very little in Nigeria.

Yes. Private company. 2 branches in Lagos, One in Ogun state and another in Abuja. A real estate firm. Staff strength about 25. including subordinates. Thanks
I'm not sure it will work out,

Is this the first time your company is sending somebody for such training outside Nigeria?

Your colleague or company need to present a strong case to justify how important this oneday training is to the company to spend that much for just one day training.

Your coleague's salary could also be an issue because that is her main tie to Nigeria.

So you really expect the VO to tell you the sort of questions him or his colleagues will ask you during the interview and answers?

Please don't abuse the opportunity we have to read directly from VOs that make out time to help here

Hello house. Good work here. My colleague will be sent for a one day training course in the UK sponsored by company. she intend to stay 7 days max. Issue is salary is 75k out of which she collects 20k Cash monthly for personal fueling allowance and a net of 48k paid after tax to account. she does some random works giving her other funds albeit not so huge. What are the chances? Thanks
Is this a private company? If yes how big is this company and do they have branches around Nigeria or outside Nigeria?

I'm back in school now, as a full time student. please advise how can i properly address them sir. I do no business for now
Only you can explain why you overstayed by 3momths plus.

You need to defend the source of 80K you will be declaring as your monthly income and 500K budgeted for the trip.

If the money is from your mum then submit evidence to back it up.

I was refused mainly for overstaying then and some other things like no tax payment for the business I claim I do, because I was through with school then
Those two refusal points will still be an issue if you reapplied unless you addressed them

I thought it is a must I pay myself salary as a company owner, but I now understand I don’t need to do that as a sole owner of the business
Please I have some few questions.
Can I apply for visiting visa with my business account and support it with my savings account?
And if yes, will I need document like letter of introduction and other document involving my business?
Please advise on document I will need in my case or refer to the page you guys have discuss about this issues, so I will not bother you guys much.
Thanks
Bro this is simply and this thread is full of list documents needed for a case like yours.

Money for this trip has to come from your savings account while your business account acts as your tie to Nigeria and the source of money in your savings account.

Presenting business account without tax certificate is risky because tax certificate shows how well your business is doing.

Good day everyone.I applied for family visit visa in 2014 as a postgraduate student(PGD)but was denied. I appealed their decision and was successful. I was to spend 3 weeks but ended up staying for 4 months.Fast forward to 2015,I applied again BT was denied..I intend to apply this month also as a postgraduate student.
I have abt 1million in my account which has been my savings over the years. My Mum who is a UK citizen is sponsoring my trip.
My utmost concern is can I put 50k as my monthly living costs and 80k as my monthly income.
Cost to me personally 500pounds for the trip as I have over a million in my account

Why were you refused in 2015?

What do you advice I do right now?
Present a verifiable source of that money in your business account and present the money in your savings account as profit and not self paid salary

Good day everyone in the house
I have been reading comment on the platform and gaining experience despite I am not ready to visit the UK.
But I plan to visit the UK this February and my cousin’s wife is going to send me the invitation, because my brother do not have British passport but has work permit in the UK for 4 years now.
I registered a car and spare parts business Nig.Ent 2 years ago and I have been running the account ever since I registered it. I currently have 5 million naira in my business account.
Also, I have been paying myself 220 thousand naira for two months now and I want to continue doing that for the next 4 months before I apply.

I am doing this because I want to apply with my saving account and I don’t want to get my business involved, I feel like involving my business will make me spend more like tax clearance ad require other document I cannot provide, I have not paid for tax since I registered the firm, I registered this firm solely because it will be easy for me to apply for business or visit visa, the firms it’s not functional.

Please my main concern right now is that, in the past three years I have spent just one year and six months in Nigeria, I spend 9 months in south Africa and I am currently in Kenya, I will be in Nigeria this December and I intent to stay back in Nigeria till I have six months’ salary in my savings before I apply.

Please I need expert advice from the Gurus in the house to please advise me on the best step to take to enable my visa be granted.
Thanks a million as I await your advice. God bless you guys for your help.
That section in bold will be a problem, it's important that you support any money in your account with a source of that money.

Another thing is this issue of paying yourself a salary, it makes no sense in one-man business because all the profits are yours and you can not honestly pay yourself a fair salary

No, nothing yet. Still planning stage. I've secured my practising licence, made some contacts with some prospective employers, chances of getting a job a very high.
I'm also aware some COS may cover maintainance and thus I may not require the visa savings but I just want to be ready in case my COS doesn't cover maintainance.
Ok take a look at this link and my attachment https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/606182/Tier_2_Policy_Guidance_04_17.pdf

I'm planning to move to the UK via Tier 2 and I have a target date of Jan/Feb 2018. To raise the required funds for my plans I'm currently taking part in a monthly contribution, a.k.a AJO which I'm due to collect a lump sum at the end of December.
My issue now is with the £945 visa savings requirement, which must have been in your account for 90 days.
I should have more than the required amount by the end of the year but I'm aware any lump sum in my account will be an issue.
I'm thinking of getting a bank loan through my salary account and paying little amounts from the loan over the next 90 days, into the account I intend to present, and using the AJO to clear the loan before I leave.
My main question is "will they also ask for my salary account during my visa processing cos I wouldn't want them to find out I took a bank loan to fund my trip.
Do you have A rated sponsor and have been given certificate of sponsorship by them?

I was told It wld work perfectly if one is an orphan or legally raised over years. As mentioned, it requires lots of documents. In my case the uni declined his acct, thus had to use my personal acct. Note this isnt a Nign thing.. I applied outside Nigeria, and my uncle is based outside Africa.
hope it helps. BOL
That is the main point there.

These companies are licensed to recruit foreign workers, https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/651866/2017-10-13_Tier_25_Register_of_Sponsors.pdf

Your bf stand a chance since he studied in the UK.

The process is not fast as the company needs to prove that any foreign worker they want to recruit has the skill they can't find within the UK or EU

Which area are you in the UK? Amazon jobs is on going. Search for pmp recruitment site.
