smokeydrinky: Hi justwise. Where some one with an existing visa which has been used for the purpose it was gotten for gets pregnant along the line, and applies for another visa in other to clearly declare intention but gets denied, what becomes the status of the pre existing visa?
Such application is it via dropbox or what? Can such a person be denied at all? Is there a legal way to declare intention without applying for another visa? Since change of intent letter don't seem to carry much weight again? The VO has addressed this issue here before and i refer you to it. abujaniv: Hello. We don’t normally post in this thread, but it seemed worthwhile to drop in and correct some misconceptions. We say this a lot, but it bears repeating: Birth tourism is legal in the US provided the applicant is open about their intention and pays the medical expenses in full. This means that the applicant should declare any such intention they have at the Embassy/Consulate and again at the port of entry.
If it happens that the applicant gets pregnant well after the initial visa interview, they will have the opportunity to make their intention, medical preparations and financial resources known at the POE. However, it will remain up to Customs and Border Patrol whether to allow that applicant into the country. Some are not, and they are put on the next flight home. This must be extremely uncomfortable for a heavily pregnant person, to spend 15-20 hours on a flight to America, several more hours being questioned, then another 15-20 hours on a plane home. This is what we want to avoid.
Onto some other misconceptions: The concept of the “change of intent” letter is not valid. These e-mails are not read nor correlated with the applicant’s file. Some people who send such letters may get a form letter in response, but it is informational in nature and in no way confers permission to amend the declared purpose of travel. What matters is what you declare at the Embassy/Consulate and at the POE. After the fact e-mails do not carry any weight.
Some applicants say, “I applied for only the B2 visa to declare my medical intent.” The B1/B2 visa categories are conjoined, so applying for only one does not make any difference. Other applicants say, “I appeared at the window with a big belly,” as if this alone is enough to declare their medical intent. Again, the responsibility is on the applicant to be honest about what they plan to do in the US.
Other considerations: Medical care is expensive in the US, and costs can escalate dramatically if there are complications. Credibility is paramount in the US visa process. If visa officers detect any deception or obfuscation, no amount of excuses, documents or receipts will make up for the loss of credibility. The choice is yours. |

bellakay: In the spirit of giving back, my visa got approved. Few weeks back, I asked about paying money into my account. Some people bluntly said No. I follow my instincts went ahead to pay the money. As Far, there’s inflow and outflow of transactions. I think you are good to go. All I submitted at tls Abuja was Introduction letter Pay slip Leave letter from my company Statement of account I applied along with my sister who is sponsoring the trip. When was that? |

From you respose to @ramj are you saying if i find a good hospital with awesome self pay package, i shouldnt come and share here so that agents wont use it? What of the non agents it will help?....i dont get it please.... or did i miss the point? Don't place a free ad for hospitals here, the same way you researched and got those deals let others do the same. Its not fair on companies that paid to place an ad here while other companies are getting a free ride. |

hodari: My pad came with only a cooker fitted in and I don't cook anyways. I had to rent or buy the rest of the equipment. Takeaway every night tends to raise the bills, not to mention grocery shopping and warm clothes as well. You know Richmond na. Anyway sha, you are implying that for one to live in the UK you must lower your standards, abi? Isn't that proving the OPs point?
This UK is hell on earth. After my masters I'll go back the next day after graduation. I'd rather move to saner African countries like Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, etc than stay in Onyiboland ever again. I don't know if i should believe you. You don't cook but at the same time you buy grocery? How exactly do you rent fridge, microwave and washing machine the UK? |

Weperwema: @All ....Hello everyone in the house...pls I have peculiar case and I need urgent response. My wife is due for B1/B2 visa interview this week and we claim to be travelling on Christmas vacation together because I already have visa.Pls advise because we intend that she give birth by February 2018 in US and we may not likely go in December if given the visa because we need enough funds for the possible delivery in February. Does she have to tell the V.O(without been asked) that she is presently pregnant and intends to have the baby next year in the US possibly after the Christmas vacation which we are not likely to?since they say notice of change of intention is not relevant..... Yes. |

coolsegun2002: Oga just wise abeg no vex...I've searched the thread though not throughly. .its hard to be looking for one specific information in a 200+ page thread. I just wanna know if it's OK to use fixed deposit account to apply for UK tier 4 visa...weda if it's popsy's account or my younger brother's account if yes how do we go about it..cos the balance in the account is not up to 2m now cos the deposit booked since August and it usually rolls over once it ends or should we just go and liquidate it... because popsy no wan loose the interest and so that we can start counting the 28day wahala. even if he will move the funds to my brother can my brother run a fixed deposit with it for 30days and still apply for vis with it.thanks You did not read this thread at least the first page or even the UKBA link i provided there https://www.nairaland.com/2575449/uk-student-visa-tier-4#37658520 |

In shomolu, ketu, ebutte metta and co u can get flats for 250 so let that argument go. So you are earning 80K a month and living in 2bedroom flat worth 250K? Does that make any financial sense? |

UKmigrant: So I am finally begining to settle into my new job. I have had my orientation, IT training, gotten a smartcard to access the organisation's records relevant to my work and have also gotten my ID card which doubles as a security door pass. I am in the part of England known as East Anglia, it is a beautiful place, layed back and free of the congestion and razzmatazz of London. I deliberately chose this place for many reasons, some being what the organisation is offering me and the low cost of living in this region. If I don't like it after a while, I might decide to move to get a position in a bigger city, but for now I am loving every bit of it.
Everyone around here seems nice and ready to help. This region of England is dominated by whites/natives unlike big cities like London, Birmingham, Manchester. I have managed to meet a few Nigerians though and other African nationals.
I am staying at a temporary accommodation arranged by my employer and I've already started meeting agents to get a small place for myself close to my work. They all require some form of deposits and references. Working on that... Its a good idea for a start, very conservative area in England and quite. You will enjoy it even more if you are an introvert |

DisGuy: I think it's mainly about how credit is built/calculated in different countries.... lets not too get personal
Seems in USA everything is tied to the credit card, whilst in EU you can get finance or credit directly from the seller
You can buy car/furniture/high cost items from a dealer and he will provide the finance... that counts towards your profile, same way your income/regular wages, you expenses and incomings You can rent a car without credit cards what that about lol you're just paying> got a car in Texas for two days with just a debit card Exactly!! |
