..both and you should have your facts before posting.

At least move the truth to front page the way you moved the photo shopped lie to front page.
At least get your facts right before making some baseless accusations

Can someone be kind enough to answer this in addition to...

4. What do I need to say I'd be doing in the UK seeing am a house wife and joining my husband in the UK with my two children?

5. What do I say about my 9 year old son's schooling when we get to the UK?

6. Am I supposed to print my husband's statement of account showing he still has his maintenance funds?
Even though he already spent part of it in securing a family accommodation? If yes... how much more should he show?

Thank you so much for answering
4. You don't need to explain that, looking after 2kids is a full time job anyway.

5. He can enroll in school in the UK to continue his education.

6. Yes you have to print the bank statement but make sure that the money on it meets the financial requirement else it will be another refusal

My sincere apologies for replying this late, i totally forgot to reply this ontime

1. Letter of introduction

Thanks Justwise,

Our plan is to visit france, spain & switzerland.
But we dont mind entering first through a country outside the stated three, all we want is a country with an embassy favourable to Nigerians. I just read on the VFS website that the Italian embassy in Nigeria no longer issue tourist visas.
Unfortunately non, you be concern with preparing a good application and not about any embassy that favours Nigerians because there is no such embassy, as long as you can afford the trip and state clearly why you are visiting that country your chances of getting a visa is high.

Oh really? No airline flies to those countries? They have finished saving souls in Nigeria and helping the needy among us?

Any of my family member who supports those business men will not get financial support from me.

Rightly said. I think it'll be really tough subsisting a family (even of 2) on £11,500 without any kind of government support. That's why they stipulated that even a British national inviting his non-EEA spouse to the UK must meet a minimum income requirement of £18,600 per year, This income threshold is even higher if one is also sponsoring children. They don't want anyone to be a burden on the government, because it is almost certain that people earning that low will surely request for benefits and tax credits etc
Nobody on full time employment earns £11,500 year that is very little, if you are married or a single mother on low income you have support from the govt to supplement your income.

My mate who is married and earning about £21,000 a year gets working tax credit which is about £174 a week per child, single mothers on low income gets about £800 a year or more.

Not only that he gets discount on his council tax.

As a single person i pay more tax than him, so even as i probably save more money than he does he still get extra from govt which i don't.

Are you forgetting the cost of British rail tickets? Not everyone uses an oyster card........
oyster card is only London thing and you can use it for both rail and bus within London

I am going on the assumption that they already had a property before hitting a change of circumstances...
How much would you place on transport and feeding?
Are you considering the fact, of the total cost to feed a family of 5 ?
This was why i said that your assumption is a false one, not everybody earning that amount has 5kids to feed or have a house already.

Average cost of bus pass in the UK is about 60-70 in most cities (London excluded), if you are earning £11,500 a year and spends £250 monthly on food alone then you will have serious problem saving a penny.

People earning £11,500 a year are working part time and if you have kids and working part time then the govt will still pay your rent and you will be getting child tax credit for each child under the age of 16
Travel › Re: The Adventures Of A New UK Migrant by justwise(mod): 9:56pm On Oct 20, 2017
Lexusgs430:
Let's logically look at your point, a slight breakdown.....
Rent or Mortgage - £500 - £900 per month
Transport - £300 per month
Feeding - £250 per month
Mobile Phone - £30 per month
Electricity, Gas & Water - £200 per month

So you see, £11,500 per annum is living on the breadline aka povertyline aka foodbanks........
Your calculation is base on false assumption and not a realistic situation,

If your yearly salary is £11,500 then you can't get a mortgage, you can't spend £300 a month in transport alone and you can't spend £250 on feeding alone.

Hi everyone, kindly assist give your opinion and help clarify best to go about this.
I am applying for my mum to attend my graduation ceremony in Edinburgh.
She is retired, on pension of about 28k she has the acct statement showing this. Current Bal about 28k she made a recent withdrawal of 50k from it, then another savings acct with allowance of 40k from my sis. Current Bal about 450k.
She stays in my family house. No title document just a will and letter of administration naming her and my bro. Can I add this document?
My bro names above will be the sponsor for the trip with 300k, source of income from rents on the above property. what can I state as reasons why he is sponsoring.
I already have a confirmed 2night hotel booking in Edinburgh. I intend including another hotel booking in Birmingham for 6nights.
My el sis is in UK with hubby who is a British citizen but we will not be using any documents from them hence the hotel booking not far from them. Will this be an issue? I intend to state we will be visiting them but won't be staying with them. Do I need an invitation letter from him still? Maybe stating that my mum will be visiting but will be staying in a hotel.
She will be stay8ng for just 7days cos of hotel costs. Proposed travel date Nov 13.

Documents she will use
Her acct statement 1 showing pension Bal 28k and acct statement 2 showing 40k deposits bimonthly or so Bal about 450k
Her retirement letter
Letter of administration and will
Sponsorship letter from my el bro (do we need his acct statement too?)
Invitation letter to my graduation from me
My sch ID, matriculation letter, admission letter, mail confirmation of my eligibility to grad from the uni, graduation form I used in making my grad fee payment. My acct statement
Letter of intro from my employer
My birth certificate
My sister's marriage certificate
El sis Resident card
El sis Nigerian passport renewed in UK

Anything elsehuh
@justwise & CO please weigh in and help adivce
Why not get your sister and husband involved in this? Then you can also contribute in the budget

Glad to hear from you bro.

My monthly take home pay is 458k.
That amount is reasonable if you plan your trip well.

Make up your mind about the particular country you want to visit with your family and search for major tourist attraction for families in that country then outline your budget for the trip.

Don't over budget because it will not impress any embassy.

I doubt they will call you for interview, bc you used the visa for what you got it for and when you later went for delivery, you told the cpb, so no they wont call you.
You will have to explain to the cpb when you travel for vacation why you didn't complete your bill though, you can explain that you intend to sort it out on this journey as it was a discrepancy blablabla.
Are you sure about that?

Pay up the balance before reapplying again to avoid petty stories.

You are about to make a mistake that will lead to visa refusal and possibly more visa refusals in future.

When it comes to visa application its important that you keep your record as truthful as possible

Hi all,

I plan to tour at least three European countries in November with my wife and kid.

People with experiences with the various embassies should please share their minds concerning the European embassy(ies) that grants tourist visas to Nigerians easily.

The only travel experience I currently have is my visit to the UAE and Kenya.

I heard France and Italy used to be good to Nigerians. How are they now in 2017?

What precautions should applicants take?

Please share your thoughts so that a lot of other folks can learn also, thanks.

Good afternoon Justwise & Co. I applied for Administrative Review in September and I received a message from the Administrative Reviewer that they are currently conducting further checks on my application. Please what does this mean? I applied for Tier 5 charity worker visa which was refused because the ECO said my sponsor does not provide the mission statement of the charity and also that my sponsor did not confirm I am not filling a permanent position but I submitted employment letter that confirms a temporary appointment. Thanks
It means exactly that, they are doing investigation surrounding your application refusal, this could include..the charity organization employing you, documents you submitted etc
