Wizcollifa: Good afternoon house, i was once on this thread and i ask a couple of questions about how to get PR as a social science student and also how to stay back after studies. And somebody suggest i should go for social worker, I have google their salary and is about 41,000,000 AUD per year. I want to ask two questions
1. Will 41,000,000 AUD be enough for my up keep in Aussie and i will still have enough to send home? 2. Can i have more than one job as a social worker in Australia? Is that salary for managerial level position or entry level? 1.If anybody on that salary level can not manage and still help people at home then that person is financially irresponsible. 2. Having two jobs will depend on the nature of your job as you may not have time for yourself let alone for another job. Though I don't live in Australia but don't start counting salary before you even get there and start your studies |

Question1: @ Justwise, I was confused about it so I screenshot that section and forwarded it to my school. Here is the case. My total tuition fee on my offer letter then was 15k. And There was international Student scholarship of 6k for me, and I paid the remaining 9k to the school myself. So, when I received my CAS letter, in the Financial Data, it shows COURSE FEE: 9k, underneath it I saw COURSE FEE PAID: 9k. And that was all, there was nothing like 15k on my CAS letter. Except that towards the end of the letter, My School noted something like this:This student has been awarded a University of East Anglia International Office Excellence Scholarship which will provide a reduction of £6000.00 per year in the international tuition fee of £15000.00. The course fee shown includes the fee reduction.
So I became super confused and I mailed my school for clarification and they said: I’ve checked the advice from our International Student Advisory team and the questions regarding the financial sponsor is usually for official sponsors – such as Governments or financial sponsors who are wholly sponsoring students. You would not fall in to this category with your scholarship from the UEA, therefore you should answer “no” to the question about receiving support from a financial sponsor. As we have given you a scholarship your fees will only be £9,000, therefore you should state your fees as £9,000 on your visa application. If you stated your fees as £15,000 you would need to show evidence that you can fund this amount, however you don’t need to fund £15,000 as your tuition fees are only £9,000 because of your UEA scholarship.
Oga, kindly help me oh There is nothing wrong with your CAS or the explanation by your school. So I don't know why you are worried about it. The CAS made it clear that you received some discount and the actual amount you paid. |

sleyflash: @justwise and @house... I finally opened a second account (sterling bank) and trasferred the fund into d acct becos my main personal account I also use it for business purposes so as not to be tempted to tamper with the cash during the 28 days count.
Question 1. hope this new account holding the cash have no negative effect on the visa decision?
Question 2.. the transfer was made today wen I ordered for statement d opening balance didnt reflect. will d opening balance reflect on saturday or on monday? So i can know when to start count the 28 days..
Thanks and God bless u all 1. Not a problem 2. Start counting from the day the money appears in your account |

Question1: Everybody, I am just getting to know that it is either you get a full scholarship or nothing.... As UKVI does not consider half/partial scholarship that the universities normally give to their students, such as International Student Excellence Scholarship or discounts. Please take note.
Hence, a question like this appear on my visa app.
Do you receive support from a financial sponsor that meets the UK Visa and Immigration definition of a financial sponsor?
Make sure you just answer "NO" to this question, its for those who received a whole scholarship. Eg, I answered "No", cos my school gave me 6k scholarship.
How do I answer this subsequent question.
Do you have any remaining fees and maintenance still due for payment?
Course fees:
Maintenance: Note that, I have completed my fee payment.
Lastly, I just figured that my uni made a slight mistake on my final cas, My CAS has my Place of Birth to be "ABEOKUTA" While It was "LAGOS" according to my passport. I wanted to submit my visa application this night or tomorrow morning before, so should have to wait for my Uni to rectify the error, or I should just submit, and pick a date whiles the Uni do the correction on Monday? Where did you read that from? |

2. No. Traveling alone. 1.Her brother's immigration status will come back to haunt her and for the fact that she failed to mention her in-law in her previous application will also be an issue. geek: Mate, stop spouting misleading information! People rely on information here and when you matter of factly spread misinformation their applications get rejected and they end up out of pocket!
Exit checks are very much in place! The information comes from the airlines systems and you're flagged as having exited the moment your boarding pass is scanned as you board the plane.
Instead of telling us what you "know for a fact" (because you don't), why don't you do a bit of research? Like this document from the Home Office: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/exit-checks-on-passengers-leaving-the-uk/exit-checks-fact-sheet Can you imagine the amount of misleading info some individuals spread here? Thanks for that link though |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(mod): 8:22pm On Aug 10, 2017 |
Advisory: Like I said a lot of people will disagree but I know for a fact that the UK does not monitor exit and this was brought up in the House of Parliament for debate sometimes ago. If home office monitors through airline then they should knock at your registered address when you have overstayed which they don't. As you know the uk takes data protection seriously and the airlines are not obligated to pass information to home office and that's the reason you have immigration desk at arrivals. They know you have overstayed when they stop you at random, they check with your employer , they carry out an immigration raid or you commit a crime. I thought that when you dropped your old ID and register this one that you will stop giving misleading info here. If the UK doesn't monitor who leaves the country then how did they get the net immigration figure which is published yearly? Airlines cooperate with immigration regarding list of people leaving the country and this is why wanted individuals are sometimes arrested before they board the flight or before they land at the destination immigration and police will be waiting. People who pay Nigeria immigration officers at the airport for an exit stamp when they overstayed get caught out by British embassy because they know exactly when such individual left the UK. Even if you are leaving the UK by road the border immigration still check your passport and car searched. After getting your boarding pass at the airport and start heading to boarding gate you go through a good number of immigration desks and sometimes your passport and boarding pass will be collected, looked at then returned to you..what do you think those immigration officers are there for? |

adoox2: Hello Guys, thanks for the wonderful job here, this trend is of big help and relief to. UK Visa applicants, I need Pls somebody help, a friend was invited by her brother to attend his graduation (Ph'D) she applied for Visa in 2015 and was refused, after outlining the documents and her intentions, below was what they told her.
*I do not find it credible that you would spend nearly your entire savings on the trip to the UK, I am not satisfied as to your intentions in wishing to travel to the UK now. I am not satisfied that you genuinely intend a short visit only to the UK and that you will leave the UK at the end of the visit or that you have sufficient funds available to cover your costs whilst in UK. Future applications. Any future applications you make will be considered on their individual merits. However you are likely to be refused unless: ¤ your personal circumstances change significantly between now and next application. ¤ you provide compelling new evidence with your next application.
Now she has a registered business running with a good turnover and she is thinking of applying for Visa again to spend xmass, but this time her inlaw which she never mentioned in her previous application is inviting her, her brother still lives in UK but have no right to invite her.my question is 1. Will her previous Visa Refusal affects her? 2. What's the faith of her application now that someone else is inviting her? 3. In the previous application she mentioned she has a brother and now the brothers visa expires and he has refused to come back, will her brothers attitude affects her application? adoox2: This is helpful, thanks alot. Tread carefully with such advise you called 'helpful' Her first application which was refused was to visit a brother who is now an overstayer and this one is to visit an uncle that was not disclosed before hence the problem..her brother's immigration status will be brought up because he is on their file already and because he overstayed the suspicion will be that she is likely to overstay as well. Homeoffice knows who has left the country because airlines or other border posts has the list of people going in and out of the country. The only way you can leave the UK without the authority somehow knowing is when you get smuggled and the car or truck was not searched at the border. |

Pls i was asked to deposit 15705 pounds in my acct for 28 days and as at today thats converted into 7,415,180. but because of the fluctuation in rates this days i was thinking to be on a safe side i should just deposit 8 million instead, hope this is allowed and ok? thanks If you have 8M go ahead and deposit that as its not against the student visa rule to have more but don't worry yourself about the exchange flopping up&down because its not your making. As long as you deposited the actual amount from day one you will be fine. Depositing more than required makes sense if you have it, what about those on tight budget? |

You don't need to add any refusal letter, be honest about the refusal in your application form when asked. |
