Teegirl101: Hello all, please repond with the most helpful information on these questions *Can two acct be submitted for statement of acct (both owned by applicant) *Cost for priority application (NOT SUPER PRIORITY pls) *Is there any need to add my NI and or NHS number to the new application (Justwise guess you would have more knowledge on this) thanks y'all You can submit two accounts as long as both meet 28days accounting rule. Unless requested in the form you don't need to add NL and NHS numbers. |

noscarn91: i swear my brother, i learnt that the hard way, if you fortunate to get a part time job you would find out that most of your wages end up as rent or bills with very little left to travel, meet new people and create memories, if any one truly want to go to that country and live a sane life just come with enough money for at least 8 months rent and bills or else when you finally arrive murtala mohammed after your visa expires , your people will not recognize you because you go don turn skeleton because of suffer. I hope people wouldn't get the wrong end of my argument here by suggesting that i'm trying to discourage people from coming to the UK. I'm only stating what many may not necessarily want to hear but the truth is.. If you are coming to the UK with the intention to stay back after graduation to do anything else apart from further studies then think very long and hard before you waste your millions coming here. If you are coming the UK with the intention to work so as to pay your school fees or rent and bills..my advice for you is to get ready for depression and heart-attack. Part time work can only pay your rent if your rent is between £300-£400 a month and you are able to do 20hrs every week. If you prepared financially and stay out of trouble then the UK student life experience is out of this planet. |

Aivinpac: Hi @ laajiblik I understand why u might think my info is flaud ryt but go check and read Tru the appendix C of the immigration rule and evaluate it critically.like I said earlier it says the money must be available in the manner specified n dat the funds will remain available in such manner unless used to pay for course fee n accommodation.now u saying it says it must be available for ones use while in the UK is ryt oo,but ask urself how it's gonna be available in the UK if u do not transfer it to the UK abi but go travel leave the money for naija furthermore "must have been held is in plain English meaning at some point u must have had d funds in ur account cos if that's not the case the rule wouldn't give the grace of using the statement at least up to a month or so after uv printed it out.i guess u need to revisit the rules u read and have a rationalistic approach bro before u accuse someone of misinformation.personally I av been asked if I had d money in an interview before by an ECO and I told I'm no cos I had sent the money abroad which is within the confines of the maintenance rules and I got my visa ooo.and who told u they ask if uv got money in d account sef when they inquire cos dey don't have d ryt aside confirming d genuity of what u submitted and ur other details.anyways I was jus trying to calm a fellow dude down cos he was tensed unnecessarily having said that we are entitled to our opinion. I'm sorry but you are misleading people here, that money is not to be withdrawn after 28days, it has to be available to you in the UK. Please can we stop encouraging illegality here? |

noscarn91: Very very soon my brother , the way Nigerians are desperate to travel abroad , I see this happening by 2020 or earlier . Coming to the UK without enough money is suicidal though many don't want to hear this but I will keep saying it. You can't enjoy the UK student experience if you are so worried about money to pay rent and bills |

So I get that you will need the maintenance once you travel...
But Haba! Not everyone is able to cough out almost 16-20k pounds- (sometimes more) at a go and keep for that long (tuition and maintenance)
Doesnt mean we do not deserve good quality education too?
Lets be more empathic here. How many people are able to afford their living expenses for a year from the first month? Deff not everyone. So its indeed quite difficult for some people, particularly self funding students.
Thanks for the feedback @mimilyrics @sleyflash @justwise Why are you considering the UK to study if money is an issue? There are other cheaper countries you can get quality education if the UK is out of reach without breaking the law. |

danielloso19: good day @justwise, im a follower of your threads here and thanks they are all very helpful, i have recently just applied to do another masters degree in a uk university as a form of a deeper area of concentration at the same university i did my last masters degree and have been granted my CAS and also the university justifies it as academic progression, but please heres my real concern,
i overstayed my last student visa by 12 days due to an unfortunate asthma attack and self medicated myself at home but returned back to Nigeria immediately i was better that was on the 12th day , now that i have applied for a new tier 4 visa and i did declare this on my application form about the overstay, will such have a negative effect on my application and i am also married to a british citizen , will such have an effect on my application.
thank you. You are asking this question in a wrong thread. 12days overstaying shouldn't be an issue, 90days is and you did the right thing by declaring it. |

1StopRudeness: Oga.. please there's this lady engaging my brother on the phone..she's a glasgow university rep in Nigeria.... becos he had been initially issued a CAS back in june...but now they gave him a full Tuition waiver all of a sudden...she's saying he has to rent an accomodation...I said Ok ooo...I went ahead and boooked for him..costing 350£ so when he gets there he can always look for another crib...now she's saying he has to pay atleast 700-900£ for the accomodation for another CAS to be re-issued... I really don't get..whats the relationship btw accommodations and CAS as regards securing a travel VISA Students are not forced to pay for an accommodation before CAS is issued. Find out if that is the condition of the tuition waiver and if the money will be going directly to school account. |

sleyflash: I thought the uk visa policy says 28days? As for me I believe that shouldn't be a big deal. 2014 I remember my bro removed the cash immediately after 28 days and he was granted visa.
@justwise @mimilyrics.. what's ur opinion ? I'm also interested in this question. It's a sensitive one. This fraudulent activities will lead to policy change in nearest future, i can see British govt introducing blocked account system where by money has to be deposited in British bank with a withdraw limited when you arrive in the UK. The money in that account is for you to use in the UK and not just to show up then withdrawn. One of the reasons why some schools started asking for bank statement is because of dishonest behavior like this, lets remember that our actions whether good or bad will have an impact on future prospective students. That money is not only for 28days then end of the story..no, you need to have that money available for you in the UK because you desperately need that money to survive here |

Dasilva100: Good day all,
Please I have an enquiry. I completed my masters degree in the UK in October 2016 and returned to Nigeria February 2017 before the expiration of my study visa. I got a job in June 2017 and so, I have been in employment for 3months (with only 3months payslips).
I intend going for my graduation in November and presently have a closing account balance of about 900k. I don't intend spending more than £1000 since I'll be staying for about 4-5days.
Will like to know if I stand a chance with my application especially with the 3months payslip issue. Also, will it do any good to indicate that I graduated with a distinction and it would be an honour to be physically present to receive my award.
Will appreciate any response please. Thanks You stand a good chances because your case is a bit different regarding 3months bank statement. 1. You came back without overstaying your visa and got a job 2. You are not going for a visit but for a graduation(an award ceremony) 3. You graduated with a good result and will be specifically recognized during the graduation ceremony. So yes you need to mention the fact that you graduated with first class and attach your certificate and graduation IV. Look for a cheap ticket so as to reduce your overhead cost of the trip. |

SirJeffry : Every Nigerian is always my relative and I'll also run a background check which he or she will consent to. I've done this before though and back then, they were some UK tourists going back home. That does not make sense immigration wise, relatives means close family members and your background check will not expose somebody with a criminal record or fake visa. |

SirJeffry: A colleague and I will be flying a small plane to London next week and we are cleared to grant free flight to relatives going that route at their own risk, no insurance incase of accident.
Here are some clarifications;
Not more than five people from my side, I don't have anybody right now. He/she must have a US passport or valid UK visa. No infants. Make arrangements for your own food which will go through security clearance as we will not have any flight attendant. It's a small military jet. Take off will be from Miramar San Diego USMC base, and not LAX or commercial airport.
Interested? Let me know asap.
...Sirjeff.
