Or do I have to go to Abuja? Has anyone done this recently? Cost? A contact? I intend to do so ASAP. Thank you

ekpotek: Yes I agree. However, the OP question is to spend 2 days in the UK visiting family while transiting to the US? That is what I have addressed that OP will need a visa. Ok i get your point now, that will not work, transit visa is definitely needed |

Austine2020: Its not true, if u have a valid US visa and u are not entering inside UK, U can still enter British Airways, and transit at Heathrow UK for your onward journey to the US without any type of UK Visa. My Wife has used BA 2times to the US and transited at Heathrow for more than 5hrs before connecting her flight to the US without your so called Direct Airside Transit Visa. ekpotek this is true |

There is also a new format for statement of purpose from the australian embassy. Info gotten from Bcie. omoyemela: Screenshot of the new statement. The screenshot you uploaded said nothing about your statement above, can you support that with any official link? |

kokorita: Good morning house, please I need an advice I renewed my visiting visa last year June 2016. When I renewed I told them I plan going to the usa for holiday. But couldn't travel last year again cous of work. Now I intend travelling in October to have my first baby. Please is it compulsory I send the embassy change of intention . Or there's no need. Please need your advice. It's urgent Thanks abujaniv: Hello. We don’t normally post in this thread, but it seemed worthwhile to drop in and correct some misconceptions. We say this a lot, but it bears repeating: Birth tourism is legal in the US provided the applicant is open about their intention and pays the medical expenses in full. This means that the applicant should declare any such intention they have at the Embassy/Consulate and again at the port of entry.
If it happens that the applicant gets pregnant well after the initial visa interview, they will have the opportunity to make their intention, medical preparations and financial resources known at the POE. However, it will remain up to Customs and Border Patrol whether to allow that applicant into the country. Some are not, and they are put on the next flight home. This must be extremely uncomfortable for a heavily pregnant person, to spend 15-20 hours on a flight to America, several more hours being questioned, then another 15-20 hours on a plane home. This is what we want to avoid.
Onto some other misconceptions: The concept of the “change of intent” letter is not valid. These e-mails are not read nor correlated with the applicant’s file. Some people who send such letters may get a form letter in response, but it is informational in nature and in no way confers permission to amend the declared purpose of travel. What matters is what you declare at the Embassy/Consulate and at the POE. After the fact e-mails do not carry any weight.
Some applicants say, “I applied for only the B2 visa to declare my medical intent.” The B1/B2 visa categories are conjoined, so applying for only one does not make any difference. Other applicants say, “I appeared at the window with a big belly,” as if this alone is enough to declare their medical intent. Again, the responsibility is on the applicant to be honest about what they plan to do in the US.
Other considerations: Medical care is expensive in the US, and costs can escalate dramatically if there are complications. Credibility is paramount in the US visa process. If visa officers detect any deception or obfuscation, no amount of excuses, documents or receipts will make up for the loss of credibility. |

Chibabe4Christ: Another concern is that my brother is in UK as at last year I applied but I filled that I dont have a family member in UK because he hasnt gotten his citizenship though he has his legal stay. Now I want to fill yes in the colon or what do you think? You could be refused for that reason alone because that is misrepresentation. I don't know how you are going to get around it but not having his papers then is not an excuse. |

Chibabe4Christ: Thanks so much Can I have a sample of itinerary Please what if she couldn't provide tenancy agreement and statement of acc, will that count against me Am not asking of how much the trip will cost, I have enough money in both account but my concern is my savings account where I pulled out 1.8M There is nothing like itinerary sample, just list things you tend to do while in the UK and a breakdown of the cost of the trip to you. If she couldn't provide tenancy agreements and bank statement then book for a hotel because if somebody is inviting you to stay with her she should be able to show evidence of an accommodation and her ability to host you while you are there. Why are you concerned about the savings account? |

Chibabe4Christ: 1.The documents she submitted was her British Citizen Passport, Energy/utility bill, invitation letter. 2.Is it compulsory that your amount in your account in your last should be same or more than what will be in your recent account. because I run 2 account savings and salary account. My savings has been 3M since last year but just withdraw 1.8M out of 3M, is it safe to use that same account. Though my has salary account FBN has build up to 2.1M. Should I use both account or just FBN. My fear for saving account is because of 1.8 I removed from it recently 3. what is itinerary? I asked her she said she doesn't know. Please how do I get it 1. If she will accommodating you then she needs to add tenancy agreement and bank statement to that list else hotel booking will do. 2. It's not compulsory, you need to draw out budget for the trip so as to know how much it will cost you. You can use any of the accounts as long as it has enough money for the trip and you can confidently provide document to support the source of money in that account 3. An itinerary is detailed plan for a journey/trip |

Chibabe4Christ: Good day House! Please I have a concern? my questions are 1. My first cousin is inviting me to London, is it OK to refer me as her cousin in her invitation letter without adding first? Secondly what type of visa am I applying for, should I apply for family visa or tourist visa? Thirdly she didn't include her house rent receipt to the documents she sent to me, will they (visa officer) count it against me? Fourthly, I have applied to UK last year November and I was denied. when I applied I presented my GTB account which has up to 3M and FBN Acct and now that I want to re apply I intend to present only my first bank account in which I have 2.1M because I pulled out I.4M from my GTB for a business. Do I present the remaining balance in my GTB which is like 1.6M together with my FBN or should I present only FBN but my fear is that since I have presented GTB in my last Application, I do not know if they can use it against me if I didn't include it to the recent application. PLEASE ADVICE!!!! Fifthly I intend to travel December and I have not submitted my application, from UK website I learnt the earliest to apply is 3months. should I go ahead with the application or what do you think? 6) Is short visit to a cousin and her children December period a strong reason for tourist or family visa 7) How do I get my itinerary
What is the better service to use when applying for UK visa? Is it AccessUK Service or Visa4UK 1. I really don't understand this question, if she is your cousin why not state it as it's? 2. Standard visiting visa, it covers other sub-visa types 3. What are those documents she included? 4. Submit all your bank accounts with supporting documents to proof the source of money in them. 5. Still ok to submit this month 6. If you are earning enough to justify spending such amount for a short visit then no problem. 7. Ask your cousin 8. People have dropped the actual link here so many times so please read back abit. |

TB certificate Husband's passport pages indicating he has visited me several times in Nigeria My own visa pages showing I visited him 3 times Tickets to UK during those visits National express tickets in the UK Mails we have sent Facebook chats Whatsapp chats Wedding pictures both trad and white Pre Wedding pics Pics of us in the UK Hubby's bachelor's, masters and PhD certificates Marriage certificate Change of name doc and public notice Wedding invitation both trad and white Bank statements showing I can sustain myself My own masters and bachelor's degree.
Note: we want for the kill this time around due to previous errors on our part. Goodluck to all.

Mcdion: This is my position on the subject matter but it seems some people don't want the name of God mentioned at all as regard to visa acceptance and refusal. Cheers. Is either you have comprehension issue or you are deliberately been dishonest about this issue. The argument here is not mentioning the name of God but..misleading people while calling the name of God. Merely calling the name of God means nothing if you are on the wrong path, lets do the right thing first then leave the rest to God. |

5 whole months, wow! If you can avoid using an agent do that by all means because you don't need one to be able to get a visa. If your school did not force you to use their agent then go ahead and do things yourself, all the info you need is here and other online resources. |

enigmang: Does the Super priority visa really take 24-48hours as they said? hope the peak period wouldn't affect it. Because it will really be annoying if after that amount they are quoting it still gets delayed.
I am planning to use it because after my 28day count i will have less than 7days till the latest day i can be accepted.
DO you know anyone that has used it. I haven't seen anybody that used Super priority for student visa but it does take 24hrs. If you want to use it make sure that your application is tight, i mean meets all student visa requirements so as to avoid refusal. |

IamphilVitalis: @justwise or whatever you're try to get it right cos I can see you're off. an applicant definitely has to present the required documents cos that's the protocol ok?. i've no reason to deceive anyone, I just told them the truth.sure I know the truth bitters and that's why it's like that with you. I don't think you understand what the grace of GOD is. if you like make your documents to be extremely authentic but without the grace of GOD its a flop. I guess it's only those that knows GOD and how He works understands what am saying. you certainly don't and I'd say nothing to you. you all should be wise. like I always say "wisdom is too expensive and unaffordable when you're not on the right path but when you go through the right path(JESUS), wisdom becomes affordable and cheap(free). This is gibberish and you should know better. I really hope that those reading your initial post will not take it seriously but rather work hard to present a good visa application package. In your first post you said this: do not mind those excuses given for rejection of visa by aussie embassy because the documents some of those people that were granted visa presented didn't have half of the quality yours have this is just reckless and unhelpful. You want people to disregard reasons for their visa refusals and believe that God in heaven will help them? You know nothing about God, you are just like many Nigerians who love playing-God while doing the wrong thing. |

IamphilVitalis: Advice to y'all...do not mind those excuses given for rejection of visa by aussie embassy because the documents some of those people that were granted visa presented didn't have half of the quality yours have. it doesn't also mean they are better than you. everything in life takes the grace of GOD. know GOD, pray to Him because only for knowing JESUS truly and believing in Him can make Him compel men to favour you. in otherwords JESUS can make the embassy give you your visa without stress no matter what your documents says...whether you're young or old, whether your course is allowed or not, whether your sop is strong or not. All those things doesn't matter. all you need to do is sincerely place your documents in the hands of JESUS and let him settle your case. do that and I bet you, you will never be denied visa no matter the circumstances...I repeat, you will never be denied visa no matter the circumstances. children of the most high God no dey carry last. You are deceiving people and giving them false hope in the name of God. |

I wish i could read every thread one by one but i really can't as I need an answer asap. Please her course starts 18th of September in the UK. She has been on her 28 day count and by 9th of September the account will be ready. Please guys for a course starting 18th of September, is it too late? Secondly, while she was trying to sort out her tuition deposit the account dropped by £500, but it was replaced in less than 24 hours. Will that be a problem? Actually it was replaced by more than the £500 that left the account that day. Guys pleaseeeee help my friend. She's panicking. That is too late only if she going to pay for Super priority. Since she returned the money the same day it's not a problem |
