A friend wanted to apply for student visa and he overworked in his previous student visa. He had stayed outside UK for more than a year. He is afraid of being refused on general grounds. Should he state in his application that he breached his previous immigration rule bearing in mind that he has been outside UK for more than a year.

Pls your urgent response is highly needed. Thanks in advance

Yes I have a friend in Canada that did just that. She left her MBA and is currently working so she can pay for another course, Nursing

She told me it won't affect her in any way as she notified the authorities it was hard for her to combine both

Someone I know has her TRV but her folks can't sponsor her again, is it possible for her to travel and work for one year and then start her study the next year since her study permit is for two years? If yes, how can this be done?

That will be a breach of the condition on your study permit and you'll be subject to removal. My advise: since there is no sufficient break between Fall and Winter semester, differ the admission to Winter Semester (January - April). While enrolled, you're allowed to work 20hrs a week. This can help sustain you during that difficult 4months

Use the long summer break (May - Aug) to work your soul out and save fund for the next semesters. In this way you'll not be violating the terms of your study permit. - LM

I don't really understand what the ECO is pointing at,I have my job with salary stated and supported with payslip and bank statement,also submitted my house document(deed,building plan,survey,even payment receipt)

As regards increase in my account,it will not take me more than 3 month to save what i have,but he still in doubt.

I really enjoying applying and do it myself process,this is just a learning point to work on against another time.

No, dependant financial requirement is in addition to maintenance money.

Hello House,

I studied civil engineering and and i want to go in for PGD in construction management.

Lately, somethings have been bothering my mind concerning my application which i am about to put forward for TRV and i need advise from the gurus in the house.

- I have have about 7 years in working experience. Of these 7 Years, i have worked in the financial sector and not in the construction industry. How do i prove to the VO that i am really about studying and not just for the Visa? How do i prove the fact that i have not worked in the engineering sector for years and now i want to study construction management.

- My sponsor is my pastor , how do i prove ties in this regard?

Someone please help .

My brother applied for MSc in Mechanical Engineering in a Canadian University. He contacted a supervisor for his research, the supervisor accepted the request with the condition that my brother will fund his research. He stated clearly in the mail, that he (the supervisor) doesn't have funds for MSc students.

Please can anyone throw more light on this? Is it a good deal? What is the estimate for the research?

I would be commuting by train or bus. Might be somewhat hectic but living in Bradford is just not it. Do you stay in Leeds?

Hahaha you don forget naaa! I still remembered the incident, someone asked a question and you referred that person to the bulky thread concerning Visas and I was like why bla bla and included 'rubbish' <pardon my use of words> ....and that made you ban me for some days or so I remembered that of the Pet section too ....I made a funny comment and Oga at the top I guess did that Lol. It was fun though and I've learnt to be a better person

Makes me wonder why people get enraged easily when banned ....truth is if you didn't do things or post wrongly, you won't be banned.

Can we use my account? where am working am still on probation so i cant get reference letter from my office I intend to state it in the application that am self employed. Hope it will be accepted. What are those things I need to put in place here(documents wise n all). I work and school (MSc).

No direct transport from L/pool. Total distance at least 35 miles each way.
Just being realistic.

Probably plenty of un-skilled jobs in L/pool.

Bus to Liverpool train station probably £1-00 or more
Train to Manchester £12-00 or more.
Bus to Amazon another £2-00
Then return back to Liverpool for school.
If the timetable permits this!

Thse SIA badge how easy is it to obtain it assuming someone has the PCC and #400 ? is the training a physical training ? How is the exams like?
and can i get the PCC from any police station in nigeria ?
