Being single is one of the best thing cheesy no drama, no headaches, no commitments, you get to be free and live your life freely cheesy grin. Single=freedom grin
There is something very addictive about that.. grin grin freedom to do whatever you want is precious but could be boring sometimes.

Yesterday a friend wanted me to accompany him to see his gf who is down with cold, while on the tube he started deleting some texts and numbers and i asked why he went...my gf will check my phone to see who i have been calling/texting even if its my mum or sisters. grin grin

Justwise, what is your problem? U call be a scammer without evidence to back up your claim. Can u or anyone on nairaland or any other place for that matter come out to say I have defrauded them before.
U better be careful with the way you use words, the banned u gave me moniker till the day you die is still there but I have no business with that cause your ban does not in anyway affect my means of communication.
Stop being an edit and an online bully or look for someone else

every single one of you, friends, family and my nairaland

Thank you to everyone for the amazing times we have
had together over the years, I will never forget all the
amazing people I have met along the way. I promise I
will stay in touch, especially because this isn't real i just want to see how many
people actually read stuffs till the end, before they fall
for it by liking and congratulating you

Oh wow! Is there no other way around this? That's a really long time, a really long time. If my uncle and his family are willing to act as my sponsor especially as they meet the requirement (accommodation and finances) do you know if that can work.....? Any hint at how to go about it. Will it still be a spousal visa application....?? @portsmouth38 @justwise @newbie715
That simply will not work.

Please, i saw on the tls website that if you have been refused visa into the US too you cant use the priority service. please can someone clarify that? thank you.
That is just the truth, there is nothing to clarify. You can't use it If you have been previously refused a visa for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the USA or a Schengen country

Please, I filled a UK Tourist Visa for someone and noticed I made a mistake in the spelling of her name after I have submitted the form and booked an appointment. The same error is on her appointment details.

Please, what can be done. Any useful info will be appreciated.
It's not a serious issue because every other document has the correct name and you can correct it on the printout before submitting physically

How safe (risky) is shipping a car from Europe to Naija as I am studying here.

I would use a car once I get to Naija.

Would you buy in Naija jeje or try your luck and take the risk with the ones in Europe.

Don't forget the shipping wahala and lots of that. I need more enlightenment on this.

Thanks.

@nevibolt @justwise @williamson
If you are on budget buy from Nigeria but if money is not an issue for you then buy from Germany

Hello good people, please I need your help
Where to begin? I am applying for a visitors visa to the UK for the first time with no prior travel history.
I am employed (since 2014) and earn N150k monthly, however for the past five months, we haven't been paid but there has been a lot of inflow and outflow of cash from my account as I run a lot of errands that require cash for my office.
My account balance is at N600k plus with two recent lump sum cash deposits.
I indicated in the online form that I plan to be in the UK for 14days with accommodation, feeding and flight fare taken care of by the people inviting me.

Do I need to write a cover letter and if yes, how should I explain these recent deposits?
Do you guys think I stand a chance?
Would indicating that I have a dependant younger brother increase my chances?
What other documents or information can I add to increase my chances of getting the visa?

Thank you
1.What document(s) are you presenting from people inviting from the UK

2. You need to explain why those deposits are made into your account from your company.

3. How much do you spend monthly from your salary?

@justwise kindly tell me why my posts were deleted?
I deleted 3 of your posts because:

1. I really don't want this thread to be turned to aboki market AND the risk of this foreign currency exchange/blocked account payment going wrong outweighs the benefits.

I don't have any evidence against you that you might run away with somebody's money but then again i don't know you, so to avoid any story that touches the heart lets cut it out completely

2. Your two other posts were just derailment

Hello,

I intend attending a conference in the UK by next month and I'm about to apply for my Visa.

Unfortunately, I cant use my bank account statement because i haven't had much transactions there in the last couple of months. And also haven't been paid by my office lately so no payslips!

I recently got paid quite a huge sum however just recently in my account, but have read its not advisable to use such.

I asked my office to ask as my sponsor but they declined, reasons best known to them. So i got a family member to sponsor me instead.

Thing now is:

1. Is it okay having a family member act as a sponsor for a Conference i want to attend?

2. Should i just go ahead and fill a tourism visa

I need advise from gurus in the house as i don't want to make any mistake that might blow my chances at this. Money cant just waste.

Thanks in advance
1. Why is your office not sponsoring the conference?

2. What is your monthly salary?

3. Married or single?

Glory be to God all mighty ....this has been a long time coming but on the 29th July I received my passport with entry clearance level to the United Kingdom.

We paid for priority but due to previous applications made in uk that had been rejected this meant priority was void. BUT the wait was worth it.

To the main guys on this forum you know yourselves God bless you all. Thanks for setting up such a forum because if it wasn't for all the things we read here this message I am sending would not have been the case.

I will post my time line in bit.. and just to let you know this message was typed from the confort of my home in london bless you all tongue grin
