Hampy : What exactly is your point here? That people shouldn’t pursue their dreams of studying abroad, even if it means borrowing the funds? You’ve been very informative with your post, thank you. But you’ve only succeeded in playing on people’s fears and you may have discouraged quite a few peeps in the process. You may never know. You criticised those you say come on here and paint glory pictures of Germany, while you have done exactly the same thing by painting sorry pictures of Germany. How about those that borrowed money to fund their blocked accounts, got to Germany, paid back their debts, go to school, work the regular menial jobs you say are available, make good grades and come back home with a very good certificate? It’s either those people are not in Germany or you’ve just been so unlucky not to have met them. IF YOU HAVE DREAMS OF STUDYING IN GERMANY - DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED! DO NOT LET ANYTHING STAND IN THE WAY OF YOUR SUCCESS. FORGET THE STORIES THEY TELL YOU ABOUT THIS PERSON OR THAT PERSON. BE READY TO PURSUE YOUR DREAMS - EVEN IT IT MEANS “GOING TO WORK AT 4AM, COMING BACK AT 2AM, OR HAVING ICE BLOCK FALL ON YOUR HEAD”. Over and Out.You completely missed the point! Somebody just told you the 'other side' of the reality and you failed to understand that. Wait until you get to Germany and learn the hard way then you will remember this post. |

target007: @Portsmouth86, you were right to be confused but there is no farce here though. I was not given the correct picture of the situation at first when I jumped on the thread. I later got the true picture that his mother is a BC but he came into the UK using the Surinder Singh route as an adult child of a UK born....Now he wants to get married to a non-EEA... but will wait till he acquire his PR before sponsoring her to join him in the UK.
The question is can they get marry now and then process spouse visa later? The section in bold does not add up. Yes they can get married now and when he gets his PR he can sponsor her. |

Ildi: Hello to you all. can I please ask for your advise if possible.
My husbands is about to submit his spouse application in Nigeria. i am not sure if it would be best to use a solicitor for this application due to a few past history. He was married a few times in the past but all marriages dissolved completely . The other thing is that he was denied uk visit visa on 2 occasion but wasn't banned from entering uk. On one of the previous visa apps that was refused, there were mistakes on a few details which was some of the reason for refusal.
What I am wondering is if it's best to use a solicitor . We really don't have that kind of money. Or just prepare the application ourselves. Apart from the issues with the past applications, we have all documentations and meet all the criteria.
Please what do you all think please. Have a word with your hubby about those previous refusals, let him tell you sincerely why he was refused then address those issues in the application form. Yes previous refusal not properly addressed will cause you the visa then you start fighting the case at tribunal. Previous refusal relating to fraud/misrepresentation will most likely lead to spouse visa refusal, yes you can appeal but its a long run. No need for solicitor this is something you can do comfortably reading recent materials here |

Been to ghana via togo boarder(2013) so I have togo and ghana stamp also to south africa(dec 2015) spent only seven days
My questions below. 1. What is the chance that I will be given a tourist visa 2. I booked for my hotel reservation via booking.com for 10 nights and its free booking till 2days before my arrival date. Can I present this confirmation that was given to me via bookin.com(remember I haven't been charged from my credit card yet but cost me 41 thousand naira for the ten night) 3. Can I start the registration online pending the time my new passport will be available (I intend doing that on monday) 4. Can the available balance help me out.
Am I good to go or is there any other thin you will advice me to add?
Justwise FrontPageLawyer worry359 1. Nobody here can give you definite answer for that. 2. Yes you can do that. 3. No wait until you have the new passport out hand because you will need the details. 4. That will depend on how much you earn monthly and how much you tend to spend in that 10 days holiday |
