@justi4jesu
Please do you mind giving a brief guide on how to verify a visa and possibly a link so as to stop people putting their details here?
You can edit the first page to accommodate such info.
Thanks in advance. |

robert90: Hello all, I was wondering if anybody could help, I'm meant to be travelling from UK to Nigeria on April but my Nigerian passport expires in August and not sure if the Nigerian passport should be valid for 6 months. Passports: It says on this website: http://www.worldtravelguide.net/nigeria/passport-visa To enter Nigeria, a passport valid for a minimum of six months beyond the date of departure is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above. Chart above includes- CANADIAN, AUSTRALIAN, BRITISH, OTHER EU, USA. The thing that is confusing me is does the 6 month validity rule apply to only nationals from Canada, Australia, Britain, Other EU, USA or does it also mean that a Nigerian passport has to be valid for 6 months. I have also been trying to contact the NHC in the United Kingdom but they have not been helpful in my case. I'm flying with BA and not sure how their policy operates. I would be really grateful to hear from you.
many thanks,
Robert. You have nothing to worry about. Can travel with that passport. |

Opoki: It may not be biblical but if she chooses the option, I won't discourage her and besides, that's not yet a baby but a foetus which can be likened to sperms spilled by some dudes even here on NL. Not every sperm one spilled out turn to a baby, so this is a baby. Apart from when the mother's life is in danger getting rid of pregnancy is morally and biblical wrong. |
Romance › Re: I'm Pregnant; My Boyfriend Wants Abortion by justwise(m): 8:55pm On Jan 24, 2016 |
Gbyte: Its not a baby yet, so you are fine if she keeps the baby and then the baby gets to suffer? Would you in anyway support her if you came to you for support? If you'd support her at all, would you do it with no strings? Lets wake to reality, the pregnancy is still in its early stage, its safer for her now than when its fully grown. This is reality, not some sentimental people who would keep the truth and say what they think people would applaud them for. Why are you so sure that the baby will suffer if she keeps the pregnancy? Why are you talking as if you have mapped out her future? Have you thought of the danger involved in abortion? Why are you so sure that abortion is the best option in this case? Oprah Winfrey's mother never had it all as a single mum, Opray herself was raped and got pregnant the age of 14 but she did not abort the baby though the boy died. Look at her now and how helpful she has been to many many people around the world. Imagine if the mum had aborted her then because she was a single mother. |
Romance › Re: I'm Pregnant; My Boyfriend Wants Abortion by justwise(m): 8:36pm On Jan 24, 2016 |
Gbyte: You have an answer already, you do not want to bring a child to this world to struggle with you and your mom, she'd hate you for giving her more burden, just abort the baby, regret it now and be glad you din't bring a child to this world to suffer later.
There is more to been a mother than just having a child, are you really ready to be a mother? If no, please my dear, don't think of it, there is only joy in motherhood when you are ready and you have the finance, there is no joy when you are not ready, its all regret. And those asking if there is no condom, like they all use condom all the time.
You've made a mistake, you'd be making another one if you keep the baby when you are not ready for the baby. Thanks and I wish you all the best Interesting..so killing the baby is not a mistake? You are even pleading with her to kill the baby? |
Romance › Re: I'm Pregnant; My Boyfriend Wants Abortion by justwise(m): 8:30pm On Jan 24, 2016 |
Opoki: If you're planning to keep the baby despite the threat you bf is issuing then you hhave to think very very well.
One of my student once had a baby in 2014 and she's regretting the action. Keeping the baby might be very difficult and may halt a lot of things in your. Life. If you you're just scared of the abortion of a thing, then seek a professional.
You should watchout next time when you wanna get down. So killing the baby is the preferred option? |

debbysmyles: Pls I need advice,i just had to create a new account to avoid embrassment. I'm 21yrs old and I had sex for the first time 1month ago,i was feeling sick so I decided to visit the doctor only to discover that i am pregnant.
I told my boyfriend and he suggested abortion..the problem is I don't want to abort the baby cos of fear.I kept my since till one ago because of different Phrophecy concerning pregnancy I must not abort if I do I will die. I told my boyfriend everything but he insist I abort it if not he is going to abandon me to my fate. My mum will kill me,society will crucify me,i have cried and cried,i don't know what to do.
Some guys are wicked upon all the promise of love. I would have kept my virginity if I had known. The deed is done so no need blaming you for getting pregnant because it will not change the situation now. Don't abort the baby no matter what your bf says, yes your mum will be angry and disappointed in you but she will calm down with time to accept you. Find a way to tell her as earlier as you can, yes it's going to be hard but it's better than killing that innocent baby. You are still young with a lot to look forward for, Genevieve got pregnant at the age of 17 but that did not stop her from achieving so much in her chosen field. |

Romance › Re: Benefits Of Dating/marrying A Beautiful Woman.......... by justwise(m): 6:08pm On Jan 23, 2016 |
greatiyk4u: REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD DATE/MARRY A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN..........
Beauty they say is in the eyes of the beholder, but the beautiful woman in this context is beyond any particular beholder's eyes, I am referring to the kind of beauty that beholds every eye. A woman that is a "complete whole"
Many men/boys are of the opinion that: “Beautiful women are lousy in bed, prone to cheating and make terrible wives”, Does this mean we should overlook pretty ladies when it comes to looking for long-term relationship partners? Since every man likes having beautiful daughters whom do we expect them to marry when we are on the front line traducing their ilk? Such parochial beliefs have no place in the modern society! Furthermore, it is utterly incorrect to judge woman’s character purely by how she looks.
Here are the few benefits of marrying a beautiful woman
1)MOTIVATION
Unfortunately most men are scared of dating a gorgeous woman due to the hordes of suitors she is bound to attract, though is actually a good thing! Stiff competition motivates one to continuously seek to improve themselves so as to always be at their best.Dating a fine-looking woman inspires one work harder, get a better job, drive a better car and buy a bigger house.
2 BOOST YOUR EGO
One of the benefits of dating a beautiful woman is the ego boost you get when hanging out with her in public. Everyone’s eyes will be on the two of you. Older women longingly smile at you, older men buy you drinks then give the thumbs-up sign, young ladies wink at you suggestively while the young men walk over give you a bear hug before proceeding to congratulate you for landing such a fine catch.
3)Attract Unmerited favors
If you appear in any public occassion with a beautiful damsel, the reception you will most likely get will be nothing short of outstanding. Men literally fight one another to offer you all sorts of favour, the general believe is that a beautiful damsel deserves no struggle. If you are an entrepreneur, the next time you are going to meet a prospective client especially a man, remember to go along with a beautiful woman of yours. Clients often settle for a very profitable price when there is a pretty woman around. Ask pastors with beautiful wives, and other financial institutions that use them for marketing.
4) Low cost of maintenance
Beautiful women Don't need to dressy trashy to stand out! I respect all women and their right to dress however they like! Beautiful women are extremely less expensive to maintain. they don't need heavy and expensive make-up or even plastic surgery to look good, a simple cheap stuffs makes them unique as the beauty alone covereth it all.
5.THEY ARE GREAT ASSETS
Beautiful women unlike the ugly ones are great assets and investment especially in marriage...in most African culture especially the Igbo culture, exhorbitant conditions are placed on pretty ladies during marriage....most families have moved out of abject poverty level simply cos they have a beautiful daughter. It is natural that beautiful women irrespective of class attract rich and responsible suitors who inturn bring enough return on investment..........lolz All rubbish. Pointless |

Portsmouth86: That's about half of what it costs to buy mobiles on the UK iPhones your looking at £600+ without contract and for my monthly contract I pay £15 per month for unlimited data/mins/sms but if I got the handset with my contract that would be more then double ....welcome to the cost of living in UK
My husband gets a monthly salary in naija that is equivalent to two 2 nights pay for me, however don't think I'm rich because, I'm far from it, when you calculate rent, council tax, 2x water, electricity, gas, tv license, wifi broadband, then costs of running a car food, mobile phone, social life (not sure what that's like anymore) then your see there's little left, unless your like me who budgets well and don't spend above my means
I'm a zavvy shopper by using cash back websites who pay me to buy their products which is normal things you buy, I also shop about to make sure I'm on the best value energy tariff it's all about how you go about your life and knowing how to be paid to buy your normal day to day things I don't do contract anymore because it's waste of money. I buy unlocked phones and put it on pay as you go. I have another phone for Nigeria calls which I only topup when I want to call home. |

ayodele234: Nigerians in America are the greatest liars! 62% of Americans are a paycheck away from living on the street. They can't even come up with a mere $500 for emergency. I talk with facts and that;s why I am posting links from CNN and trusted sites below. Stop hyping America, the top one million richest Nigerians made their money in Nigeria. Trust me you don't have a thousand dollars as we speak. You are just living paycheck to paycheck and I also know you cursed the day you traveled to America. Well you still have enough time before you life becomes a complete failure, kindly pack your bags and find the next available flight down to Nigeria. It was truly a misadventure.

That 62% figure you quoted was actually a survey from just 5,000 Americans questioned. The population of the United States is estimated at 320,050,716 so result from 5,000 people is by no means a representative of the whole population. I have known you(here in nairaland) for sometimes now and you are one of the most hypocritical individual i have even come across. |
