@Adeboy007 I have to edit your post to stop people from quoting it only to type: 'Congrat bro or wow' |
sunnychic: Hi all @ justwiseIt does happen, many have gone that process of waiting for Sheffield office to contact the tribunal and the annoying waiting time. Have you contacted the Sheffield office? |
rukkiat: Pls I need your advice I have been to UK twice my second time of going to UK on my 2yrs visa I spend 8weeks instead of 3weeks I said in my form now d visa has expired and I want to renew I'd there any probability that am going to get d visa or can I write a letter and tell them d reason why I spend 8weeks instead of 3weeksIts not a good thing, it doesn't look good in your immigration profile, you probably will be forgiven if you are a student or a house wife with no commitment back home to rush back to, but for somebody with a job or own a business it will cast doubt to everything you stated in your application form. If you are employed and on leave..staying 8wks will put a question mark on your job claim, if you own a business and you spent 8wks on leisure trip that is not a good sign of a serious business owner. Prepare your reason for staying that 8wks because you could be stopped at the POE and questioned , it has happened to many before, it got nothing to do with you over staying your visa or not. Its a matter of individual circumstances and the info you stated in your form during the application. |

henrychubayo: Please I need answer to this question. Is insurance required for UK visa for 2 weeks? Not necessary, you will not be refused if you did not add it. |
sashacoleman: Hi Guys,Summer is a busy time and application sometimes takes longer than 15 working days, you should have applied easier enough, finger crossed you may be luck to get it next week |
milychocs: Help please! If you met all requirements then not submitting ref shouldn't be a problem. Its not part of requirements. |
dove30: Yes justwie i guess the application was done late but please what is the way out from your experience can the go to the embassy monday morning to speak to them.I'm not sure that will make any difference, not sure they will attend to them without pre-booked appointment. They can give it a go, who knows... |
dove30: Hello guys please my parents submitted visa application to come for my graduation on the 4th of this month.my graduation is next week Thursday .we called the customer service in Lagos but no one picked.we now called Abuja and was told that the application is in Lagos and the confirm it had not been assessed due to back log they are having.i was given an email to email Lagos which have done but my worry is that they sometimes don't answer this email quickly.please can my parents go to the embassy in Lagos on Monday taking along the tickets which is for Wednesday and the vfs papers stating that the graduation is on Thursday and they are living on Wednesday.please i would welcome all ideas and information from you all cheers. You applied too late, that application should have been made at least a month in advance. |
agates: @ justwise please I would like to make a clarification about the statement of account.Your 28days counting starts from the day you deposited the complete money into your bank account...e.g, if your total maintenance money is £200 and you deposited £100 on the 1st of July and another £100 on the 5th of July..your 28days counting starts from 5th of July and NOT 1st of July. |
sunnychic: Good morning all.Its not easy to take that route if the sponsor got a job already in the UK, moving to another EU country to start life afresh briefly is not an easy decision to make. |

odibenson: Greetings to everybody in the house especially to those whoose efforts has skyrocketed this forum to a greater height, more power to your elbows.I have a case which has been bothering me since yesterday, the case is about my mother ilr app which was rejected by the upper tribunal.let me try has much to explain everything in details and I know you guys with your wealth of experince would lend a helping hand.my parents has spent 17 years in the uk of which they are free from all criminal charges or anything incriminating.so december last year they filed for for their ilr app via the help of a solicitor.the money was kinda of expensive though but they just have to push through so they can become legal and also get a very good and lucreative job.after 8months they got a letter from the high office that they should do their biometrics and sent the details to the office asap.my parents were so happy they thought its all over that their joy of living in uk legally has come through.4 months later they brought a packet with so much joy iin then they opened it to see their stamped document,lo and behold the app was rejected but they gave then room to apeal the decison of the high comission.furthermore, they got anoda solicitor of which helped they file the case to the tiribunal.the tribunal gave them a said date for the hearing.things became rough for them they couldn't get the remainder of the solicitors money,so they went to the hearing without the lawyer.thr judge decision was not taken instantly but told them they wil hear from them that they should go.barely a month they wrote back has they promised but this time the judgement was not decided that they should contact the upper tibunal.brothers my mon did that recently and now the upper tribunal says that there is no room for oral interview it should be written.please what should they do pleaase help cause my parents have suffered a lot from this thrash..please your advice is needed sometimes the whole situtions makes me sad.thanksWere they living in the UK as legal or illegal immigrants? What sort of visa were they holding throughout that 17yrs? |
