kunbizzle: @justwise,pls I need urgent reply please,I applied for EEA family permit on the 28th may at lekki, when I didn't hear from them, decided to sed them a mail on the 24th of june, they replied me 3rd of july that my application hasn't being processed and its likely to be looked at within few working days, after 3rd of july till now,I haven't heard anything again from sheffield,I really don't know what to do,as am confused why my application would be taking this long and angry at the same time.
Application like this takes average of 3 months and this is summer which is a very busy period.

agates: @ justwise and everyone I have submitted my application ystdy oo. Scared cos I stammered a bit during the interview and I practiced o. It all happened so fast. I also didn't attach the conversion rate be cos I had more than enough funds in my account. Hope that's not a problem.
That is not an issue since you have more than enough, it becomes an issue when exchange rate fluctuations affects your balance.

naijamumcarephx: No indirect ad intended, there's information on the http://travel.state.gov. It's had to tell what is classified as an ad so being careful what I share. Just trying to help.
This got nothing to do with classified info, you are not a govt official and will not legally have access to classified material.

People contribute helpfully here without indirectly asking members here to contact them privately for some info. Please that is not allowed here.

@All

Please be mindful of who you contact in private for accommodation or other services relating to child birth in US, not everybody here can be trusted. When you get scammed please don't come back here to accuse Seun and mods of covering scammers as some have alleged before.

Thank you.

seconwaobyno: pls my questions goes to the gurus and ogas already in canny.
dont really know where to start from cos my case is now complicated but ur gud advice will help.
1, I am a prospective applicant through an agent
2, my program will cost like school fees $14, 000, egent $13, 000 for the admission and trv other sundery expenses not in cluded yet.
3, note: I didn't know this trend before I committed to the agent I came to knw about it after I have committed 6, 000 usd as advance.
4, admmision gotten from niagara college medical, biometric done but trv was denied cos of moving the embassy from lagos to Ghana effected his internal contact contact.
5, admmision now differed till September still pushing if he can breakthrough to trv.

this is where I need ur advise most.
1, Does canada worth this amount?
2, my brother advised me to join him in his business and develop the capital instead of going to another mans land to face unknown.
3, he is an impoter deals in trailer spare parts.
5, he said I should call the egent to withdraw the processing but the egent said he can only refund 50% of the total sum as he has spent a lot but that's not the issue.
The issue is this does canada worth this amount? or should I join him to develop the capital here as the business is moving well for him and he is always out of the country for importation.
sorry for the long epistle. currently am working as a contract staff at a bank but already submitted resignation latter by next month.
thanks in anticipation as am waiting for ur gud guide.
What was the $13000 you paid the agent for?

Chaze85: Pls my last question or clarification I hope the gurus are not annoyed my tution fee is 12090pounds and I paid 990 for deposit,my maintenance is 7380pounds for outside UK and I pay 240 for accomodation after that I deposited 5m naira to my savings bank fir the counting of 28days last july 4,last friday I deposited again 40k naira now making 5m and 40k pls can u help me with the calculation f I can pass the maintenance fund for UK,is my maintenance fund ok?or I will have problem?I hope my question is clearer now
You shouldn't have done that because you have restarted the 28days count from last Friday when you paid in that 40k.

Pay more school fees deposit to your school and get your CAS updated or deposit about £300 or more for accommodation and get the receipt and attach it to your visa application package.
Travel › Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by justwise(mod): 9:09pm On Jul 20, 2014
Chaze85: My school fees is 12090 I deposited 990 so making 11100pounds maintenance is 7380 I deposited 240 so making 7140pounds so d total is 18240pounds equivalent of 5m and 57knaira
I see, thought you deposited 9900.
Travel › Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by justwise(mod): 8:46pm On Jul 20, 2014
Chaze85: When I compute it's 18k pounds but when I calculated the maintenance 7380 plus the remaining skul fees it always end up I lack around 30pounds
You are not getting it.... how is your remaining school fees? Add that to £7380 and tell me how much it come up to
Travel › Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by justwise(mod): 8:27pm On Jul 20, 2014
Chaze85: Yes 5m for maintenance and remaining skul fees excluding the money I deposit for accomodation and for CAS,I deposited d money on july 4 to start counting and last friday I deposited 40k so now the total is 5m and 40k naira
You have enough money, convert 5m to £ and see how much it comes out to. £7380 (maintenance) + remaining school fees - £240
