Farrason: Listen up everyone, the guys running this website: https://southafrica.vfsevisa.com/ are scammers. Ensure not to fall their victim. the likes of tryharder and Myst77 are just plain scammers. This is why you have not received any information update cos you applied for the SA evisa using their website - https://southafrica.vfsevisa.com/. They will ask to send an email to info.evisasa@vfsglobal.com but be rest assured that no response will come forth. Naturally, you will then find your way after being tired and frustrated.
Likely, whom ever opened this thread meant a goodwill to help people find their feet but alas, if there is a Judas or a Lucifer in the most holy places, how much more a thread on Nairaland.
For people who have fallen victim, its so sad that despite the situation in the country, some people still derive joy to rip innocent Nigerians off their hard earned money through any means possible.
I believe these guys mentioned above especially Myst77 have scammed a lot of unsuspecting people. His profile just shows that he registered 11th January 2023 and has not created any topic but actively campaigned and encouraged people to register for SA e-visa using https://southafrica.vfsevisa.com/
I plead with the rest of us to try and be our brothers keepers and call out scammers anytime we discover them and I as well beckon on Nairaland to block their accounts immediately to avoid more victims.
WHY THIS POST?
I applied for the SA e-visa through the much advertised website - https://southafrica.vfsevisa.com/. See below the confirmation of payment and successful submission since 3 days till now, i have not received any email on my payment and confirmation of my submission. Worst of is that I can't log back in on the website AND 87USD IS GONE.
That amount multiplied by 100 and then 1000...etc. From honest and unsuspecting Nigerians.
I know many people are already a victim of this but keeping quiet has made more people fall victim. I will not keep quiet on this so that no other person becomes a victim.
Except Seun is just concerned about his paycheck, the integrity of this site and diligence of the moderators could be heading for shambles!! Do you have any evidence? I'm really interested to know that. If you haven't received any email 3days after visa application that does not mean that you have been scammed. |

anozie09: Hello.. I travelled to the UK with some dollars as pounds was scarce.. what's the best way to change or deposit it please?
Lexusgs430 justwise hustla You can take it directly to the bank to deposit it, them will convert it before paying it into your account or you take it to post office to change. Check post office website for their exchange rate or walk -in and ask them so as to know the best deal to go for. |

mayluv: Hello house, I hope we are all good. I am in a dicey situation and need some input from those who have more knowledge and information than I do. I applied for a two year visitor visa for my mum that will expire December this year. She came in December 2021. While here, she was taking treatment at the General hospital as a private patient. In June 2022 when her six month visit was almost complete, I applied for extension of stay through the FLR/HRO route so she could complete her treatment. She did biometrics in London and her passport was held back at the biometric center. Since then, no decision has been made and the passport hasn't been returned. In December 2022, I cancelled the application on gov.uk and according to the information there, I would get the passport in 10 working days. Its over the 10 days and I have even filled the online complaint form twice, still no response. I can't get through as the contact number is for general inquiries and only get computer responses. When I was cancelling the application, they stated that she becomes an overstayer from the date of cancellation but they haven't returned her passport still. What can I do?
Thanks in advance.
Cc. justwise Lexusgs430 and all other sabi people. Was the contact number you called a paid one? |

Peerielass: The problem with this strategy is that the person would have wasted the three years they could have used to beef up their CV and position themselves in the relevant industry. So alternative is to gamble on non-sponsonship job and hoping that they will sponsor you sometime along the line or take closed-end PSW and start applying for sponsorship job? |

Strata1716: Thank you so much Justwise Mizgene Bigtt76 Hustla for your advise, it really helped and I’ve been offered a 20 hour role.
I am especially happy as this happened just under a month of specifically searching for jobs in the nhs and being 4 months in the uk, This will also be my second job so I am happy to be building on the experience.
I hope the road to sponsorship favors me as the job search has. Glad it worked out for you. |

kwakudtraveller: Baba thank you for posting this, the thing has been doing my body somehow but i see how some people use style to attack people who speak up about this their care work mindset so i just dey observe. Person get opportunity to do data analytics work but leave am go do care because of sponsorship and we think it's normal. People need to wise up. I think peope have the right to be angry when they get insulted or attacked for doing care work, will i do care work? No! i have zero passion or interest for such job and i have no prob with anyone who chooses to do it as a career , but will i do it for sponsorship? Yes i will, its not as if its a job for life, its max 3yrs you get out and go for your main target, its just a brigde to get what you want. |

chrisxxx: I found myself in Doha Qatar to catch a connecting flight to the UK. While waiting for boarding time I met other nationalities. Seconds got to minutes and minuted progressed to hours and it came to time to board. Everyone before me was only showing their passports and we're being allowed to pass. When I got there I reàlised some facial exchanges among the immigration officers. They never asked anyone before me any questions. They started by questioning me of the reason of travelling and the next they told me was to sit at the dock as I have been selected for random security checks. Is the random security check only a person? I became scared as I had to wait for the police to come. I will continue... Sometimes this happens at the airport, i have been stopped and questioned at istanbul and heathrow airports and i was not cayying Nigerian passport in those occassions. |
