brother, even medical doctors are not well paid in the UK talk less of security. Let me break it down for you. They pay about 15 pounds per hour if you are in London and cheaper outside. Let's say you can do 60 hours a week that is 900 pounds a week or let's say 3600 a month . It appeArs like a lot if you convert to naira. But you live in London and don't spend naira. Ok so you are at a higher tax bracket which is 40 percent so you take home like 2700 a month. It's London so your rent is like say 1000 if say you are single and no family and managing a small one bedroom. So that 1700 left. Council tax is like 150. You left with 1550. Let's say your utilities 300 a month you have 1250. Transport lets say 200. That's 1050. Phone and internet lets say 100. That's 950. Feeding[b] let's say[/b] 400. That's 550 left. Clothing and haircut and miscellaneous like eating out and sending to naija etc and buying naija foods let's say like 300 a month. You have 250 left. Young guy you want trip woman to movies or go pub to drink pints of beer etc let's say 200 a month. You have 50 pounds left. Now this is calculation for single man. If you have wife and children may GOD help you is your cAse lol

just checked the hourly rate in london. its 12 not 15. so i was being generous

It is a dilemma for them. They would have spent every kobo they had to get there. So, relocating is not an easy option for them even if they wanted to return. But the only thing is that, if they had known, they might not have taken that route.

I don't want to bore you guys with long epistle. Yes, as the title suggests. I travelled to Canada through the study route this January but I can tell you for a fact that I'm already bored with this place. I'm redoing a 2 year program that I have already concluded in Naija but just because I want japa, I redid it. But that's not the issue. The issue is that I'm working in a company but the department I was posted to was a physical demanding one. To the extent that if I work for a day, I feel pain all over my body for a week. And this is seriously affecting my education because anytime i go to work, i wouldn't have the energy to do anything again as i would be so weak. but i have to work because i have bills to pay. Nobody send you for here except you want sleep for cold outside. Even half of my salary goes in the form of settling bills. The work makes me depressed. This is not what I bargained for. For me to raise money for my tuition fees and travel expenses, at least I wasn't doing bad in Nigeria before i left. In addition, I hardly have time for myself. My situation is even better, most of people who we came same time haven't found jobs yet.
My thinking is if I should ask for refund of my remaining tuition fee and relocate back Naija, or go back Naija and take some courses online, as there seems to be an option for that.

Thank you all. I needed to correct something which my brother later told me in the evening yesterday.

He said what the agent told him is that he has done all the jobs concerning the visa application but it only remains for him to come and thumbprint so that he will be given a visa to move.

According to him the agent said that he does charge that amount because him and his team will bypass anything called interview.

That he works with notable people that make things work as planned.

Please advise because he said many people are going there and getting visa to the countries of their choice apart from America.

Please advise next action.

What ways will he be able to navigate the country to Finland and if he gets there wouldn’t there be a chance to find any job.
Any job is acceptable. He doesn’t have a choice of job but it must be a legitimate one.
