You can't use this opportunity to promote your company, you left all the allegations made here and went ahead to write about your company's achievements. Reply those allegations.

Connoisseur: Hello justwise

I recieved my application with a 'refusal of entry' clearance
Reason:
-The number on my invitation letter does not exist
-I stated I earn 350k monthly but the balance in my personal account does not justify that I would want to leave the UK willingly after my stay.

I applied for a visa on the 31st of july. i included;
-a letter of invitation from a company i deal with (including evidence of past transactions i.e. reciepts and invoices)
-evidence of company registration with the tax clearance
-minutes of meeting where the invitation letter was discussed and the company accepting to take full responsibility for the expenses
-a company account with a balance of almost 5m naira with a dom account in my personal name with a balance of £16k and a personal account of 700k naira
-marriage certificate and pictures, birth certificates for my twins
-title deeds for a property

If you can, would you explain where i went wrong with this apart from the number part, and how soon i could reapply so as not to appear desperate.

Thank you
Does that company actually exist or is it one of those companies selling conference letters? Do you have the physical or web address of the company?

pjonesm: YES I have it for one month as the balance, so I should raise the mistake about my parent d.o.b at the interview even if they dont ask me ? please respond
Point out the mistake to them before they do anytime in future. It will not cost you the application but it will save you a lot of troubles in future.

wolske: Hi Justwise you promised to get back to me regarding whether my wife can work while i do my Phd?

wolske: Hi Justwise. Just a quick question. I'm going for my Phd and i already have my visa. My wife also has her visa (she got the visa as my dependant partner.) I however noticed that while my own visa allows me 20 hours work per week during term time, my wife's visa says nothing about work, it just says "no recourse to public funds". Does this mean that my wife cannot do any work throughout the period of my Phd? I need a clear interpretation of the immigration rules on this question. Looking forward to your response. THANKS.

pjonesm: Hello justwise and co, please i had already fill out the online application form and had also book the appointment. But i later discovered that there was mistake on my parent dob (it was different from the dob i submitted last year while i was refused )can i fill out a new online application and book another appointment. please advise me, though the parents are late and i don't even know there real dob, i only quote for them, but what i fill last year was different from the online application i just submitted now. please can i fill another online form and re book the appointment. it is urgent i need response please.
Also i had paid the full tuition fees and i have a balance of (1,400,000naira) in my account for over one month, hope it will not affect my chance about the maintenance fund
There is no need to re-book, submit and go for your interview, use the interview opportunity to explain to the embassy about the mistake, there is nothing to worry about there.

You have 1,400,00 naira plus your maintenance money in your bank account for one month?

TinyPurpleBaby: You know, when people say colonialism is over it saddens me...

Colonialism is not over, its in a new form called neo colonialism and thats what still affecting Africa

Its not like the youth do not want to do anything but when this over developed countries who stole from us and ARE still stealing from us through unfair trade rules, what can you do?

Briton should be the last to say anything because when you sow a seed, you reap from it. They call African man lazy but are we the ones that traveled all the way to a different continent to get slaves?

They never cared about us, and they still do now...Its like a ripple effect. What is done at the top will sure affect the bottom...

If England wants to do anything for us, they should give us back almost everything stolen, and they should help us develop our lands at no cost because they enslaved us and killed us and refused to pay back but now they get richer and richer and we get poorer and poorer thanks to them...

But this is just one of my wildest dreams sadly....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWSxzjyMNpU

Please watch this video...
Stop feeling sorry for yourself and hold your thieving politicians responsible, when will we stop shifting blames and face the fact? If Britain returns all stolen items to Nigeria what difference will it make? What have we done for ourselves since Britain left us? Did they go with our raw materials?

lopmaidx: Mr, justwise.I would be applying for the tier 4 visa 15th bt just want to be clarified on d funds which includes the maintenance and the remaining course fees for the year that I have in my account and it has almost spent 28 days. I am suppose to show that I have £13,712 which I din't use the Oanda bt instead I calculated a pound to 250 naira and that gave me the sum of N3,428,000 while I have N3,434,500. Am I on track or did I used the wrong figure to estimate what am to have in my account? And how do I get the Onada print out cos whn I checked the website I was able 2 download the application and that's what I used to monitor the exchange rate but there was I day it a pound reached N250.9. Looking forward to your response. THANKS.
Since you are almost done with the 28days waiting time...there is nothing you can do now, as long as you have the complete from day one you will be fine, the BHC uses the exchange rate of the day you sent in your application to calculate.

jubel: Ok Justwise. But something struck my mind now.U know I already printed the statement on the 7th.Normally I was meant to apply 9th but due to the hols.Ukba expects me to have printed my statement before that 9th.Although it was rescheduled by them which is not my fault.
Do u feel they might feel y a new statement?Hope it won't cause isses.Pls what do u feel about this?

Those people ehn, that is when they would blow grammer now.'I understand that your appointment date was 9th.But due to the holiday,it was rescheduled to 15th.I expect you to have gotten your statement down before the initial date (9th)'.One can never predict them.Lol
Printing another one will show that you haven't touched the money since that 7th, so you got nothing to worry about.

jubel: Okay thank you.One more question pls.I printed my statement on the 7th of Aug,was meant to apply on the 9th but its now 15th due to public hols and ukba rescheduled it.

My question is,should I get another statement on the 14th(wednesday) which is a day before I submit my application.Am applying on the 15th.Although I know it must not be more than one month prior to d date of submission. But just to be on a safer side.

I printed 40days statement. Is this okay or its to the extreme?
That is a sensible thing to do, so go ahead with that.

That means you are going to spend about 4x your monthly salary in a week or two holiday? Your chances of getting a visa is very remote. If i were you i will give it a break until your financial situation improves.

Rossikk: AND SPENDS IT ALL IN TWO WEEKS ALSO ON FOOD, BILLS, AND TAXES. In England, every month you pay water bill, electricity bill, gas bill, rent/mortgage bill, landline phone bill (whether or not you use your phone), tv licence bill, car insurance bill, MOT bill, car tax, Council tax, PLUS income tax that's taken directly from your salary. By the time you're done, your 'fat monthly salary' is down to less than 1/5 of what you thought you had. That's the reality which many Nigerians who view the uk with rose tinted glasses fail to see, before jumping on a plane to fly out there. Next thing they're stranded and start dabbling in fraud and drugs and then end up in jail. Or they might work legit for a few years, but when they return to Nigeria, they see that their mates have left them behind and now own their houses and cars fully paid for, plus huge savings etc, while the uk guy is still struggling to pay mortgage and car hire purchase payments etc etc.
What is wrong with that? You don't want to pay for what you used? You don't pay bills in Nigeria?

Very easy, even after first semester you can still switch within the same department.

Aristoqrat: Okay that's good then, well your checklist should include:
1. VAF9 Form printout (Attached with one passport photo)
2. Appendix 8 Form
3. International passport (Include old passport, if any)
4. School Certificate/Transcripts
5. WASSCE certificate
6. Letter of acceptance from school
7. CAS statement
8. Bank statements (You can also include oanda.com currency converter printout -that is if your funds are in Naira)
9. You can also include a short personal statement like I did.

I hope that helps. All the best!
no 9 is not necessary, in no 4 include only those documents listed in your cas.

the rest of the list is ok.
