If you friend has checked out the room then good. As for address for UKBA, you can use your school International office address, that will be accepted.

The fees thing, i have given you advice on this before, why not go to your bank to pay the fee in nairaland then the bank will convert and pay your school in pounds? Have you approach your bank about this?

Don't sign contract with anybody if you haven't seen the room, forget about pictures they showed you, the reality is miles away. Wait until you get to the UK, view the room then sign. My opinion though
