poppincash: Has anyone here experienced this before? Yesterday on transit to London through Ataturk airport on Turkish airlines, the guy at the boarding gate refused boarding. He said he couldn't confirm my visas. I asked him if it was his job to do so. This was issued by British high commission here in nigeria. I asked him how he knew and that he contact the high comm himself he declined saying he had scanned the visas and he did not think they were genuine. I feel sad about this. Has anyone experienced this type of experience at istanbul? Thanks

How did you resolve the prob? Were you finally allowed to board?

Please can you email them tomorrow again with the appeal number, payment number, your full name and ask them again what happened to your appeal, send the same email to BHC in Nigeria and see if their replies will tally.

Attach the email you received from them indicating that your appeal has been received.

damsey: Goodday justwise, i need ur candid opinion on one issue. i have lodge my dependant maintenance money in my acct 4 19 days 2day & i wanted 2 withdraw 4rm my current acct which is tied on d same ATM card with d saving i av d maintenance, mistakenly d withdraw was done on d one with maintenance money but i return d money back in less than 30mins
Can i still use d money in d acct after 28days or i will start afresh?
Is there any implication if i did nt make my dependent visa along with my own since am on scholarship

Then you got nothing to worry about, if in doubt contact your uni for assurance.

Please I need some clarification on an issue.I am preparing to apply for Tier 4 visa,the uni did not assess my English language ability based on any standardised test score.I was going through the UKBA website this morning and I noticed that some changes have been made to English language requirements for Tier 4 applicants effective from 1st July 2013.WAEC is not on the list of requirements.
I will like to know if this implies that I have to submit TOEFL or IELTS scores as part of my visa application though the institution assessed me using their parameter.Thanks

blawi1: @ influential01 and @kaziam: the problem with using agents is that they fill the DS-160 form for you a with information that you MAY not be aware of.

So Infulential pls ask d agent to print out d DS-160 form BEFORE submitting, in fact he should submit it online in your presence that way you are fully aware of what your profile is and can defend the information therein.

@ Kaziam, the agent may have put in info that is false hence the revocation of the visa. Ur friend should find that agent and know exactly what was put on file about him. I wish him all the best.

Get the loan from the embassy and book for cheap hotel accommodation, since she is not new in US she will be able to sort herself out when she gets there. Don't push her into doing something stupid, since the embassy is ready to help financially then let her get the money and book for an accommodation

How will that solve the prob? Marry a Nigerian guy for wrong reasons, if she fall inlove genuinely then good but to marry for money is just wrong

Cause am not sure if I have established presence which maintenance to show in bank account will just be £1600....I don't want situation whereby I will fill non established presence and they will say I av established presence....thank u

Registrar's number and a certified Transcript duly stamped and signed.all tuition fees paid with a month booked accomodation with the college. Yet i still maintained 10000pounds for 33days before my application,Zenith bank PLC,My CAS,and Oanda. Print out, passport ,2p.photograph and My. Visa form. @plz i hope am safe oooo! Av been avn sleepless night againt 2mao...

Nothing anybody will say here that will change the outcome, you just have to go and pick up your passport.

I think they do email the appointment to you. Just wait and see if they do that

foce: My people una good afternoon, pls I have a question, If someone gets a 6months uk visiting visa on the grounds that he is working in a company here in 9ja which is formality and in his application he stated that he wants to go for a 2weeks holidays, how long do u think will be proper for him to stay over there since his aim is to apply for 2yrs visa when the 6months expires

2weeks. if you have stated in your application form that you are going to stay for 2weeks please stick to that, staying more than that maybe put a question mark on your next renewer.
