ibomboy: Thanks justwise, however u didn't say whether there was still any need to present a bank statement since i have a full scholarship covering tuition and maintenance. The appendix 8 self assessment PBS form asks in qusetions 6.16 about the amount ur official sponsor is paying towards your fees which in my case is full. Then in Q 6.17 asks if you have any remaining fees and maintenance still due for payment? In fact the Q 6.16, to 6.20 is confusing for me. Would you be so kind as to take a look at these questions 6.16 to 6.20 and advise me on how to fill that section. (bearing in mind that I had paid 4600 for my fees b4 i got the scholarship and i had maintenance in my account 7200 but had started spending from since i got the scholarship is now about 6800). Just trying to fill the form and have my appointment on tues.

henrychubayo: i have watched this show several times and the custom and border control of Australia don't check Nigerians traveling to Australia much like they do people from Brazil, Columbia, Mexico, south africa, Indonesia, cause these people use lots of drugs and that they carry it on them. But if the rate of Nigerians carrying drugs to Ausie increases, they may check us like they do other people.

IamJerry: Dear Justwise, the list from the link you gave me helped BUT I can't really find a university without TOELF as their requirement.

BUT **many** of this universities only require 87 - 90 marks in TOELF iBT; even, some require 67 - 70 marks.

Let me be sincere here with the main reason why I am trying to run away from writing the TOELF test.....the main reason is that, I don't have time to train for the exam...some of the exam centers in Nigeria have it in their website that test takers need to register for extra coaching; I don't have the time for this.

So, I belief reading on my own, I can even score up to 100marks. Please, is the test hard or easy? Can I practice for free online as some once said?

I want to clarify an issue: My University in Nigeria sent my transcript to the Institution in the UK via email i.e. a scanned copy. Now the UK institution has sent a copy to my mail for me to print and attach to my supporting documents for visa processing. Now I will like to know if this will be accepted as an original or if I have to apply for another one from my Naija Uni

israel007: hi nairalanders. it's a beautiful day and i am glad you all are doing great. i applied for a visa to do a short course in the uk for four weeks. i made my application on the 30th of march. the documents i submitted was a
-certificate of enrollment from the school,
-accommodation reservation confirmation slip,
-airport pickup slip,
- six months bank statement of my uncle,
-letter of sponsorship from him
-affidavit of sponsorship from him
-photocopy of his drivers license
-letter from his personal company on letter headed and signed by him
-six months statement of account of the company
-certificate of incorporation from cac\
-tax clearanc and about four other documents from cac including memorandum of asssociation
-affidavit of a transfer of land that my father gave to me transfering the said property to me
-c of o of the land.

i sincerly want to do the course and come back to nigeria. people, do i stand a chance to get the visa? i have been tryinig to track my passport and unfortunately, i don't know the application refference number because there are lots of numbers here. where can i locate it on the slip? please people help me.

dalobaba: Hello @justwise... I just want to know if I actually filled the wrong form. My auntie gave me an invitation letter and I filled the form for general visitor. I got a refusal and she's saying I filled the wrong form that I was suppose to fill the family visitor form. I applied 2010 with my mum and I actually filled the family visitor form then tho I was refused but when I was trying to fill this time around I read that I'm not liable to fill the form coz I'm not her sibbling, parent bla bla bla. Please want to know if I truly filled the wrong form.thank you
