Let me explain it better how it works. when you log into you account your unread messages, number of friend request and notification appears, when you now view another persons account your notifications will still appear, but like Itsmodella was explaining the add as friend button, poke button will appear. or let me ask you this can you poke yourself? or add yourself as a friend.

A very good friend of mine had this experience too back in uni days and i tell you it wasnt funny at all. we traced the person but never caught him. she had to close her Fb account and we reported the imposter to mark. after sending dozen pics of herself to prove she was the original owner.

Bantino: Absolutely wrong. The number of messages/notifications shown there is that of the account used to search out the impostors id and not the impostor's message, that is why the 'Add friend' also showed. Your account cannot show 'add friend' when you log into it yourself.

justwise: Then she is presenting a wrong picture, the impression is that the profile displayed there is that of the imposter and not Nadias. She should have displayed the fake profile and NOT her own profile

ItsModella: That is the number of Nadia's unread messages. She is obviously using her account to view the impostor's account else there wouldn't have been the add friend, message and poke buttons.

RICHIE BOI: Three Nigerians who tried to trick their way to a new life in the UK through sham marriage and illegal employment have been jailed.

Henrietta Samugana, 32, Oluwatobi Adegbenro, 36, and his brother Olaseni Adegbenro, 30, were sentenced to 12 months, eight months and 12 months respectively when they appeared in court yesterday.

All three had overstayed their visas, but Samugana had used a fake Dutch ID card in the name of Carina Centeno to fraudulently get employment as a support worker at a care home.

Later investigations found that she had used the false identity to marry Olaseni, and made three requests to the Home Office asking that her husband be granted UK residency – all were refused.

An operation involving police and immigration enforcement officers was launched, and they discovered a fraudulent UK driving license in the name of Oluwatobi Adegbenro at the trio’s flat in Yunus Khan Close, Walthamstow, where all three were living.

Robert Braybrook, from Home Office immigration enforcement, said: “These people treated the UK’s immigration laws with contempt, overstaying their visas and then attempting to use a variety of illegal and fraudulent means to remain in the country and obtain work to which they were not entitled.

“This case sends a clear message that people who ignore immigration law do so at their peril. They will be caught and they will be brought to justice.”

The trio had pleaded guilty to the charges against them at an earlier hearing.

Samugana admitted using a false ID card and fraud, Oluwatobi Adegnbenro and Olaseni Adegbenro both admitted possession of false ID documents with intent and seeking leave to remain in the UK by deception.

modash: Actually I applied hoping to go their during my leave, to spend a week their and proceed to Sudan(already have the visa), so I don't want to miss out on both because at the rate their going my leave is going to be over before it comes out, and what really puzzles me is the first time I applied last year around April I got the visa in like 3-4 days. I just think they should have made a decision because as it stands I don't think I will be able to make it to the uk anymore. I don't care wether I get the visa or not at this point I just need my passport, in fact had made up my mind to cancel but several people are advising me not to? That it raises suspition and makes it more diffult to get a subsequent visa??

What do you guys think?

NaijaIhail: @JUSTWISE I hail o!! Like your name, you are too wise... I have confirmed some info about the course and I can tell you that, it is not for international students so I cannot go for it.

On another development, I now search for a similar course and I found it but it 2-weeks "full time course" i.e. From Monday - Friday and from 10.00am - 6.00pm. The full course fee is £995.


So, my question is, is it possible to apply for just 2-weeks visa for a short course even if I pay my full tuition fee and accommodation fee?

Please, what are my chances of getting the visa?

Do you have any helping tips for me

1. I want to go for a short course in September and it will run for just 6-weeks but I will have classes just Thursdays and in the evening....meaning.....1-day a week.

2. The course fee is too cheap...just £170.

So, my question now is, since I will have classes just 1-day a week for 6-weeks and since the course fee is so cheap, can this serve as a visa refusal?

Should I start counting the 28 day from then or should I after paying the money? Now the online application should b done say on 29day after the 28days of wait? When should I send the paper application? And one more pls house, my hair is big now compare to last year I did my passport should I cut it off or will it be ok?
