I think you are giving Alonso too much credit! He had no hand in Massa qualifying that high

Looks like its all falling down for Alonso! Funny cos it was not looking this grim @ Free practice and even in the early stages of qualifying.

From a Vettel perspective I see the likes of Schumacher,Di Resta and Massa as passable and would be aiming as high as 2nd as I am convinced one of Hamilton or Button would make a mistake
He is being too cocky, Schumacher or Maasa could end his race, Di Resta is a bit cool headed.

jimtosam: Transcript is like your report sheet from JSS1 to SSS3. It has the breakdown of all the subjects and their scores.

Go to the Secondary School where you had your Secondary School Education and request for it.

ferdiii: Nigerian rural and urban sec.schools have no clue about a transcript. If he needs a sample I will mail it to his mailbox ASAP. I did that shiit myself when I was made to understand that they can't do it and do not have an idea.

Are you implying that you made everything up and the school stamped it for you?

Which primary or secondary school in Nigeria that doesn't know what transcript is?

What I really find hard to understand is how someone can spend 20 years abroad and never thought of regularising his immigration status?! I just hope he has something to fall back on in Nigeria when he eventually gets deported. A man who fails to plan, plans to fail.
I think he got relaxed after couple of yrs without anybody questioning his identity, as with every fraudster they get cocky after sometimes without being nicked.

Makomen Omonkhomion: @justwise. Won't they look @ d date of resumption. Can't I track it.
They are not going to look at that, if there are appeals submitted before yours they will treat those first.

Did you choose oral or paper hearing?
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by justwise(mod): 10:54am On Sep 07, 2012
Makomen Omonkhomion: @ justwise I applied for an appeal last week wednesday. Pls wen will I get a decision on it.
Appeal takes time, you 'may' hear from them next month about the hearing date.

okolodaniel: @justwise what a prompt response. I really appreciate. Also I attached the passport with which I was refused back in 2005 with the rejection stamp.
Thanks very much for your time.
Even if you did not attach the passport you will still be ok, because you were 12 yrs of age at that time, you can't be hold responsible for the refusal but you did the right thing by giving the little info you have about it.

stinicks10: hello justwise, I recently applied for a 6months uk tourist visa and was denied, reason being that i did not give enough detail about what I will be doing during the 2 weeks I wanted to spend in the uk(reason for travel was summer vacation). and also the credits and balances on my account statement does not commensurate with my monthly income of 400k per month.
I am self employed, into equipment leasing(mack trucks) and haulage. I sent in the following documents.
1. My company documents including Certificate of incorporation, and tax clearance for 2012
2. Age declaration ( am 27yrs)
3. Board letter from my company, signed by a director listed in the company docs
4. fully paid hotel reservation for the two weeks I intended to stay coming up to £1340
5. my personal savings acct statement with bal 1.7m naira( not lump sum payment )
6. my company acct statement which am sole signatory( although I did not state this) with balance 2m naira also not lump sum payments
The jobs I do I receive mostly cash and cheque payments.
I want to know if I still have a chance if I apply again, or perhaps I could reduce my monthly income to somtin like 250k permonth, besides I dont understand how to give more details about what I will be doing during the two weeks period I wish to stay.
Finally I will like to know if this denial will affect my chances of getting a schengen visa, perhaps I can go to france for the holiday. if this UK people wont give me visa.
thanks
You don't have to make-up incomes, you have to state exactly how much you earn in a month/year with paper evidence to back it up.

If you are going on holiday to the UK you have make a list of places you want to visit while in the UK,e.g... London zoos, London eye, buckingham palace ...etc

okolodaniel: Good Morning house. I just stumbled on this thread after submitting my visa application. It is absolutely fantastic the amount of info on here.
Well, my question is this:
My mummy made a visa application in 2005 and included me as her accompanying child- I was 12 years old at the time. We were refused the visa. In all honesty I didn't even know she made such an application till I was filling my form this year.
In question 6.3 of the form asking if I had been refused, I answered as follow:
Date: 25/10/2005.
Country: UK
Reason: don't know
Reference number: 243415.
I must add that my mum has gotten a uk visa 3 times after that refusal in 08,10, and 2012. But she doesn't have the refusal notice again and she cannot remember the exact reasons for the refusal.
Please do u think that I will be refused a visa because of not putting the refusal reason?
No, you will be fine if you met all requirements

My sister has established presence in Uk. Having just finished her foundation program on a child visa (she turned 18 this year) which is expiring next month. In terms of the bank statement to present to the HO, she is presenting her dad's account. Someone told me that the BS ought to be hers. Is that true?
She can use her daddy's bank statement with a letter of consent from her daddy.

salsera: @Dharkchild
Its national insurance number
You need to give it to your employer so that your salary can be deducted for tax etc

You need it to work
Don't know any links unless you google, and I'm using my mobile now

My school sent me the document on it which had their number and address
The phone call is about 50p per minute though and you'll need an address for them to post the forms

@justwise
You're a lifesaver will try gumtree. Was flathunting physically today and agents fees almost spoil my mood. All my internet runs on rightmove and findaproperty and even agents sites no talk about any fees oh.
Rubbish - one even charge 450pounds for flat of 595pounds!!
Tempted to do facemeifaceyou (aka flatshare) Kai - no like dat thing ehn. Orisirisi co-tenant

Please before i forget....gumtree is double edged sword, its very good and free and its also a hotbed for scammers, many of them are 'Nigerians' and Eastern 'Europeans'. Their room adverts always look posh, too good to be true offer and want you to pay through western union, so keep your eyes open in all the deals, roomates are a bit safer but you are not allowed to contact the landlord privately, only through the website.

MRbrownJAY: ^^^^but a new WDC title will surely help any of these drivers during new salary negociations......but for that to happen, we will have to wait until the end of the season.

also, if Mc Laren is trying to renogociate Ham's contract then surely Button's multi year mega contract will get the same treatment as well, as i dont see how Button could earn more than Ham.

Exactly!! they gave Button such a generous deal but dragging their feet with LH, they have ruined his race this session many time with dodgy pit-stops

salsera: Hmm
This private accomodation business is giving me issues

Q1
Are the agents to charge me fees?
Which one be credit check, reference check and admin fee?

By the way NI took approx 2weeks
I called them on the 24th - received forms on 30th,sent it onn 31st and got response on the 6th.
Agent will definitely charge you, but you don't need them, use gumtree or roomates to look for accommodation then make contact with the landlord and go and view it before paying anything.

Paying agency fees is just waste of money.

The duration of NI depends on the city council, some are pretty fast while some drag it to about 3-4wks.

I know nothing about SA student life, but please if you don't have enough money to finance your studies then don't go because there is no enough job for South Africans let alone foreign students.

People with experience will answer other questions you asked.

^^^ you are absolutely right, Mclaren gave him that figure when the economy were good, can't see them going crazy with salary now considering the fact that they will start paying for Mercedes engine next session. I don't think Alonso will get higher salary if he is to renew his contract now seeing that he is the highest paid driver by far.

Tena11: Fellows. My name is Yinka, a graduate from a uni here trying to make good with my life. Ive been to the american embassy 4 times already but refused. Im a mature student, looking to take a medical route in the U.S however I am aware that they do not grant visas to non-imigrants from Nigeria to study medicine since medical study there offers residency. I had to apply for undergrad admission with option to transfer credits attained here. The processing with schools went smoothly however the denials have been in the way of my progress.

The last interview I had lasted for a min or so:

VO: Why do you want to travel to the united states?
ME: To complete my undergrad degree in biology.

VO: You are 24!
ME: Yes sir

VO: what have you bn doing since completion high sch:
Me: Academics( told abt my remedials, diploman and undergrad)

VO: Tells me to hold on, then after a while he says why not apply for a Masters degree in Biological sciences?why do you want to go back to restudy bio? If u have graduated, pls reapply or if u havent complete ur education and reapply anytime.

Big Question is this.. DO I REAPPLY FOR A MASTERS? I HAVE ALL THAT IS NEEDED! AND HOW SOONhuh
CAN I APPLY FOR SPRING or wait years for spacinghuh? I just need candid advise ..

You can't get UK work permit from Nigeria as you may not meet the requirements, you can get student visa if you can afford to study in the UK, schools in the UK do give scholarships sometimes though not full in most cases.
