Greatgreatest:No, firstly Uthman was not a prophet. Uthman and the other companions that compiled the final copy of the Qur'an were alive at the time of Muhammad(PBUH). The had also memorised the Qur'an in his lifetime. All they did was edit the minor discrepancies in the earlier versions written by the other Arabs in their dialect under the guidance of Allah. Allah has declared in Q15.9 that WE sent down the reminder(Qur'an) and we shall be its guardian. He has promised to protect HIS final Reminder to humanity from corruption by humans as they did with the previous Revelations. |
IamBlanco:Ahad means uniquely one, one and only, one like none other. It's a one that cannot be pluralised. It's the same as the Hebrew word 'echad', which Jesus said when he stated: Your Lord your God is ONE! |
AgentNairaland:In the semitic language(Hebrew, Aramaic,Arabic etc...), there is the plural of numbers and the plural of reverence. Same with our own Yoruba language. Royals us 'we' when addressing their subjects, so it shouldn't be a strange thing to you. Same 'we' was used in the Torah(OT) 2000 years before Jesus, the Jews are not confused by this concept, none of them ever attributed the pluralization to the trinity.Hope you understand. |
IamBlanco:No |
Greatgreatest:He never 'wrote' the Qur'an, It was revealed to him in bits by the Arc Angel Jibril(Gabriel). It was revealed over a period of 23 years. During this period, he transmitted the verses ORALLY to his companions. At this point, it was not in book form like we have it today. The learned amongs the companions decided to write out fragments of verses on walls, barks of trees, leaves stone etc. It was later compiled into book form across the Arabian peninsula. However, there were discrepancies as the arabs wrote it in their own dialects and some were not written in the right order of verses. This made Uthman(RA) assemble a team to write out the Qur'an the way Rosulullah(SAW) revealed it. He called for the previous copies written by the other Arabs and they agreed to burn their own copies to protect the integrity of the Book of Allah. The copies of the Qur'an written by Uthman and his team are the very same as the ones we have allover the world today. No revisions, editions and in its original language over the period of 1400 years. How many books can boast of this? |
Folohunsho20:That's the excuse 'liberal' Muslims give to feel better about their actions. |
MetaPhysical:30 years. |
Sukakma:Converts ![]() Franck Ribery – Christianity to Islam. Franck Ribery was born on 7 April 1983. He converted to Islam in the year 2002 by the influence of his wife Wahiba who is of Algerian descent. He added the name Bilal after the conversion. |
dominique:Thanks jare, I've read it too. There's no such thing as easy money anywhere. You have to work hard for it! Anyone lavishing money anyhow most likely got it through suspicious means. Besides Ghana is fast becoming the hub of ritual money. Most of their money ritualists even have Facebook pages where they advertise. I won't be surprised if our people have gotten involved in it. |
Where's OP o? The way the thread is moving, we'll get to page 20 before we see the next post! |
professor100:While other Imams are spreading messages of peace and dissociation Islam from ISIS and other acts of terror, this one is fuelling the flames of hatred towards a religion he claims to follow. Of course he's the darling of gullible non Muslims. The cling to his Islamophobic words and maggot to shit. Of course, I wasn't disappointed with the kinds of responses I've seen so far. We'll never stop saying it.. ISIS is a propaganda that has nothing do do with Islam. |
How to apply Chebe Hair Products Wash hair with our Chebe hair shampoo. Make sure hair has been moisturised with organic oils before shampooing. This process is called 'pre-poo' After washing and rinsing properly, apply our Chebe hair conditionergenerously and massage into the scalp. You can keep it on for about 15minutes while wearing a shower cap. Detangle and comb the hair afterwards. Wash off the conditioner. Dry the hair with a towel. While damp, moisturise the hair with our range of products like the hair cream, magic hair butter and hair growth oil. These can be used individually or mixed. Comb the hair properly. Now prepare your Chebe powder and oil mixture. Put about one thirds of the powder and a portion of the oil into a small container. Mix till it becomes a paste. Part the hair like you do whenever you're applying relaxer. You can have someone do it for you. Apply the mixture to the hair from root to tip, making sure every part is touched. It's advisable to put a towel on your shoulders to avoid staining from the powder fragments. After it has been applied to the hair, you can leave it for some days. It's advisable to weave or braid the hair for the duration. After some days, loosen the braids, wash again and repeat the process. You'll notice an instant darkening of the hair. Also it'll be easier to comb. Within weeks of application, the you'll notice the increase in length and fullness of the hair. For you to see the desired results, it's advisable to apply it on a weekly basis till you achieve your desired length and texture. |
Lukuluku69:Very true. Dr Gerald Derks(rahimullah) was an ordained pastor of a babtist church. Yusuf Estes was a preacher, Yusha Evans a youth minister before going to Bible school. It was there he found the bible to be handworks of men and he left Christianity, later found Islam. All these men used to be in the top echelons of Christianity, they left, but they didn't dedicate their time and effort to insult Christians or spread lies about them. They give da'wah and try to make non Muslims see the beauty of Islam. It's former Bible scholars like Bart Ehrman, who left Christianity for atheism, that gives disparaging lectures about their former religion. May Allah guide him right. |
Lukuluku69:No problem sir. Of course we'll never rub it in their faces. If you notice these reverts, you hardly see them insulting Christianity. But fake ex Muslims like Ergon Canner, Kamal Saleem etc have made fame and fortunes by spreading falsehoods and insulting Islam. They're being disgraced one by one. The real punishment of Allah awaits them in the Aakhirah, except they repent. |
TommyAnthem:Keep your empathy to yourself sir. I don't need to read some silly book about the rights of women in Islam, when the Qur'an and the books of hadiths have made it abundantly clear. While the bible encourages the rapist to marry his rape victim, Islam forbids a woman from being forced into marriage. A woman has the right to inherit from her father's estate, in Europe, up to the 1800s a a woman had no such rights and any wealth she owns belongs to her husband. On the issue of wealth, any wealth that belongs to a woman is hers to spend as she likes. She may give to her husband if she wants, but she must not be forced. For instance, I have 500k and my husband has 5k, my 500k is mine to spend as I wish; its my husband's duty to use his 5k to cater to the family's needs. If I wish to, I can give from my own, but it's not by force. A woman can request for a divorce if she has good reasons to. Before Islam, Arabs used to bury their daughters alive. Islam came to abolish that. A recent report by the BBC stated that with the widespread conversion to Islam, more FEMALES than males were recorded to have accepted Islam.I can send the link to you for verification. Why? |
Lukuluku69:Of course. Yusuf Estes, Yusha Evans, Hamza Yusuf, Yusuf Cerantonio and so many others have spoken on why they left Christianity. It all boils down to the same reason, Christianity didn't give reasonable answers to their questions, told them to have faith in christ bla bla. Alhamdulillah for the guidance of Islam. Also, I'm ukhtee sir, not akhee ![]() |
Lukuluku69:Ex Christian, Tim(now Mohammed) Humble once said 'the only way one can survive in Christianity is by absolute ignorance'. Their Bible is filled with inaccuracies and contradiction, yet they claim it was inspired by 'god the holy spirit'. They're not allowed to question the biblical errors. Asking such questions makes you an unbeliever. All you need is to believe Jesus died for your sins and salvation awaits . |
TommyAnthem:You might want to provide evidence to backup your claims. Islam is completely against forcing people to accept it. The evil fundamentalists are anti Islam. Google fastest growing religion and see for yourself. Ask yourself why Americans and Europeans are joining Islam en masse. Read on converts and what led to their conversion. People are the truth in Islam, in spite of the falsehoods and propaganda against it. It is the Religion of the Creator of the Universe and no one can destroy it. |
balosammy:Do you know how legit it is? I've also heard of it. |
Maximus69:Moses and Jesus bowing had nothing to do with virtue?? |
TommyAnthem:Don't bother with the links, I've gone searching about the two people you posted. I read on Sheik Abdul-Aziz Ibn Baaz, I didn't see anywhere he said whoever claims the earth is round must be punished. He did disagree with the University of Medinah regarding the shape of the earth. You neglected to mention that the scientists of the University of Medinah were all Muslims too. Same with your 'Researcher on Astronomy' Fadhel Al-Sa'd. The televised debate you spoke one sidedly about was between him and a Muslim physicist. The guy is not a scientist, but someone who claimed to have insight into astronomy. You seem excited to talk about the ones that goofed but conviniently left out the ones who were accurate. Why are you people like this? |
TommyAnthem:Would you be so kind to provide links to these videos? Muhammad al Idrisi, Muslim geographer was one of the first to describe the earth as round. He drew a very detailed atlas describing this. This was in the early 12th century. Christians kicked against it. It wasn't till about a century later that they reluctantly agreed. Some Christians today still think the earth is flat and scientists saying it's not a all part of a big conspiracy . They have a website and all, flatearters.com or so.Those verses you poured out are not talking about the planet earth, but earth as in the ground we walk on. The earth was named as a planet by recent scientists so verses revealed about the earth 1400 years ago couldn't have been talking about the planet. The Qur'an does talk about the day and night rolling into each other through the movements of the sun. Also says the sun is not stationary, it also revolves in its orbit. Scientists proved that very recently. The Qur'an states that the universe is constantly expanding, something astronomers recently discovered. I could go on and on, but I gat work to do jare |
1StopRudeness:There were some things mentioned casually mentioned in the Qur'an that science came to prove. Qur'an says the sun is a shining light while the moon is a derived light the bible goofed big time on this one. That mountains are like stakes(pillars) Points on embryology. Speaks about a baby growing in 3 layers of darkness. That iron was sent down, even the early scholars were a bit confused on that verse until scientists proved that iron came down in a meteorite shower millions of years ago. These and many more that an illiterate in a desert could bever have known 1400 years ago. Islam has never gone against science, except for evolution though. Muslim geographer , Muhammad Al Idrisi was one of the first people to draw a world map in detail in the early 12th century . He and scientists of that agreed that the earth was round, some Christians at that time disagreed with. It was centuries later the reluctantly agreed that the earth was not flat. |
nineone:That's absolutely absurd. Kindly provide the verses of the Qur'an where you got these sickening facts. |
Happy Sunday everyone. Hope we're all enjoying the weekend? ![]() |
1StopRudeness:An illiterate wrote a book which 1400 years ago with words science proved centuries later! Simply because it doesn't agree with your illogical trinity doesn't make it a fallacy. |
nineone:Neither Muhammed (saw) nor any other Muslim have ever alluded that Jesus (AS) is in hell. We believe in the true words of ALL the past Prophets if God (Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Ishmael, Jacob, Lot, Job, David, Solomon, Jesus etc), upon them all be peace. They all called to the worship of 1 GOD. |
